Super helpful staff and really nice, clean, quite facility too. I rolled in with my RV later than planned due to LA traffic. No problem, Clyde was on duty (8:30 pm) and helped check us in. Even led us right to our site and helped us hook up utilities (flashlight & helpful tips). Best thing - most sites are drive through! So easy and appreciated especially when it's late and you're tired after a long drive! Office staff and propane guy were all super friendly and nice! This place is a really good rv resort-they have personal dump stations, laundry, common room with tv/pool table/book exchange, free wifi, pool, dog park, they sell beer and snacks at the office, propane, hair salon, clean bathrooms and showers, really nice and helpful staff, and for active duty military they give two free nights/year and 20% off any other nights you stay. Very military friendly, and all the other tenants/ campers are super friendly!! read more

i lived at leaf verde sun resort for 13 years as a full timers there,, since the new owner of sun resorts came in its been hell,, the red head lady in the office is rude, picks fight with customers,, and the manager is completely rude, not care of his customers and long timers who pay the monthly fee,,but this last month came to the horror of 40 residents who lived there full time, most were elderly on fix incomes and health issues,, 4 days before christmas,, management knock on our doors and said,,,quote; when your lease is up( which they forced a lease on us,which we never had with the original owners) if you don't get a newer trailer with in a 15 years span ( which a trailering that year span can cost 35,000 dollars and up) we will be forced to move out of the park! the 40 full timers own their trailers, and we're all in good shape, well cared for( which we took pride in them) and we were grandfather in by all the pervious owners, some had lived their 18 years, we had to move, at a time of hardship for many people, with covid and health issues , and living on social security and limited resources,,,was forced to move during a time when all rv parks were packed with the winters snowbirds,, we had to scramble to find places to lived or live with relatives because of the action of this management and company policy,,, it cost people a lot of money to relocate during the inflation crisis,, they are heartless people, nasty, money grabbing company!! i would never recommend this rv park or sun resorts for the way they treated their loyal paying customers!!!we all had to pay big bucks to move and the prices of fuel and time and heartache to leave people who been together all those years, trusted friends and neighbors,,yo be thrown out that way was pure nastiness!! shameful actions on this company, sun resorts!! i will tell people never to go into this company's business or ever stay at this rv sun resorts!! donna weatherford read more

Stayed here 4 nights last week to try out our new RV and had a great time. There isn't a lot of space between the RVs so got to know the neighbors quickly. Would recommend and stay here again. I also noticed it is quite windy here in the mornings but calms down by afternoon. read more

This rv resort is such a pleasant place for everyone, the management and staff are amazing and work very hard to make sure the whole park is in excellent condition and safe. Our dogs love the big dog parks and are older children love it as well!!! Nice place in tip top shape. read more

The woman who checked us in was very nice. We we're frustrated when a second person came by wanting us to reposition our trailer shortly after two people already spent a long time getting us parked to their satisfaction. It felt like a huge sand parking lot, and spaces were narrow. Micromanagement made it feel like a prison camp. Not our cup of tea. read more

Worst park in the state, not a large park like people say super cramped you can barely pull out your awning with out hitting your neighbors RV. Very unfriendly staff very fake smiles . Your stuffed in their like rats in a cage for $600 plus a month! It's under new management their putting park models everywhere with big sheds huge porches which makes the lots even smaller then they were before. They watch you like a hawk if they think you even come close to breaking one of their 10k rules they threaten to throw you out.water is undrinkable clogs up your pipes ruins your water heater and you will need to change your tanks due to huge sentiment build up . read more

Park appears to be clean and you see employees driving around in golf carts constantly . I imagine to ensure rules are followed and sites are maintained well. But, you also get the feeling you're being watched, it's odd and uncomfortable. The check in staff is friendly. That's about where the positives end. The laundry facility is beyond disgusting. I cleaned what appeared to be puke and dog crap out of every front loader before I could even use it. The top loaders are designated "work clothes" so I didn't dare use those fearing they were worse. The sites are very narrow and face each other in pairs. They have this weird car shuffle where you park behind your neighbors RV and they park behind yours so you can have a bit of a front yard but when they leave you have to move your car behind yours so the next guy can get in. Then they come knocking when a new person is there again to move your car behind the new guy. You could spit in your neighbors front door from yours you're so close. Heed what others also say about the sand. It's been rainy and that stuff sticks to everything. I've been able to keep it out of my motorhome with a large mat out front but my vehicle is loaded with it and a complete mess. The absolute worst though, it's 39 degrees this morning as I sit wrapped in a blanket trying to enjoy my coffee by a small space heater. Why you ask? To use my LP sparingly. You see, they do not allow a service to come in to fill your LP tanks. You must drive your coach up to their in-house tank to fill. Or pull those huge tanks out of your fifth-wheel or travel trailer and haul them over. I'm set up for a long term stay. I have slides and I'm 4 blocks up on those yellow leveling blocks. Ridiculous to require motorhome guests to actually drive their rigs over for LP or even have to remount those heavy tanks in your trailer rig. I did have someone come in once before I realized he'd be chased out by staff. The driver told me that within the first few minutes he was here, he had four guests come ask him for service. Then a couple golf carts showed up telling him he couldn't service guests. "A safety concern" they said. I can only imagine how much safer a trained amateur is filling my tank when I drive over than a professional is coming to me. An outrageous inconvenience to guests in the name of selling LP. The first time I need to pack up, pull in my slides and drive off my leveling blocks is the last time they will see me. I called every other park in the area, they ALL allow a service to come in. read more

Awesome place for overnight or Snowbirds like us. We return every year and it's like coming home. There's plenty to do, and plenty of sights to see all around! Friendly, helpful staff. The entire park couldn't be cleaner, from the laundry to the dog runs, and speaking of dogs, this park is very dog friendly! If you want the best value for your money, this is it! read more

I just wish I could leave a zero star review. If you are traveling thru for a one night stay, this is the place for you. However, if you plan to stay here for an extended period of time, you'd better not have a life of your own. If you've made exhaust modifications to your rig to improve mpg, they will complain and threaten to evict you, if you don't park your vehicle perfectly parallel to your unit, they will complain and threaten to evict you, if you break their 9.5 mph speed limit inside the park by so much as a 1/4 mph, you will be stopped and informed that this is your one warning and they can evict you next time. I am a skilled tradesmen. I have traveled extensively for the last 7 years in my fifth wheel and I have NEVER been treated this poorly by a campground owner. The workers are nice people. But the owner believes that a five page rule book is the way to welcome new customers. You are informed before you move in that they can easily replace you in your spot, so keep to the rules. If you have a guest/family member stay with you, you had better register them at the office before they close at 5pm and pay an extra fee for having a third person in your unit. Also, make sure you make prior arrangements to park their vehicle elsewhere. Even with a parking pass from security, you will be harassed and threatened to have it towed for parking in the open lot beside their dog walking area. If you use a charcoal grill, you'd better not spend much time outside... Outdoor parties and gatherings are not allowed (unless you are drinking wine and are at least 60 years old, then you can gather 15+ people and have a loud drunken party until after midnight). It is also noted in the room book that additional rules can be added or existing rules can be changed at management's discretion. Stay away from this place if you're here for Palo Verde, a rodeo, or any other reason besides a short stay(unless your are a snowbird). The spaces are cramped and the management is unreasonable. Saddle Ranch is owned by the same person with the same ridiculous rules as well, so I would steer clear of that place as well. read more

I have traveled all over the U.S. in my RV. I stay months at a time because of my line of work. I am a quiet guest, who goes to work and comes back to sleep. Never been treated so poorly, by any owner EVER. His "Micro-managing" might be ok for some, but I found it to be extremely disrespectful and degrading. After chatting with my neighbors, being scolded and threatened to be removed/easily replaced over the most petty issues seems to be a common trend at Leaf Verde. The "you pay" Internet is basically non existent and unreliable. Ladies in the office, were not friendly, do not smile, I was never acknowledged, and I seemed to be a burden. With one exception, the younger office manager has always been respectful and professional. The maintenance team is also great! They are the reason this park got any stars. My advice for the owner, do not bite the hands that feed you. read more

Leaf Verde was nothing but a disaster for our stay. I am an event specialist, and this was a great opportunity for work and to spend with my folks finally! Wow... I can't possibly put into words how discriminate this place is. I thought they were very nice when I left my car up front one evening to avoid any issues with parking and was given a parking pass. I was doing everything in my power to adhere to their rules. After a couple of days, my parking pass was no longer good enough. There was no expiration date and the guard unspoken with had told me that everything was fine. I parked where they said. I didn't make noise. I had a pass!!! I'm not going to be apologetic for being forthcoming about occupations and our hours. I never want to disrupt or cause issues for a business. I will not tolerate someone being nasty just because they already swiped my card and think they can manipulate myself and others thanks to a contract. Don't treat people lousy because you can't be up front with your agenda. read more

Mainly due to Virgil, an officious little attendant who led me to my space and directed me EXACTLY where to park. The sites are crowned and where he wanted me to line up EXACTLY was on the downhill. All I wanted was to park 3 feet back where it would be flatter. No. Never. He then managed to disparage my brand new 24 foot Winnebago Fuse with the remark, "These little class C's are hard to park". Goodbye Virgil. Hopefully your rudeness will get you what you deserve someday. I won't use this campground again. read more

My husband and I come out in March with our teenage son to watch some Spring Training games. The staff at Leaf Verde is always extremely friendly and super helpful. I have noticed that some of the other reviews don't like the rules Leaf Verde has, but that's one of the reasons we stay here! We will keep coming back every March. Keep up the good work!! read more

Stayed here from January until present. The sights are all gravel with room for your 40ft rig and your car Kinda of close together The very activities are minimal and the "Barn" is too small for everyone to have donuts. Leaf Verde is absolutely the finest park we have ever stayed in!!! It is a family owned and operated park and that's how they treat you, as family. From the check in with Robin and her front desk staff to Clyde and his park staff that take you to you site and do daily maintenance and help in any way they can to make your stay memorable. The park is close to major shopping centers, Wall-Mart, Fry's, banks and etc. Scott and his staff are continually improving and updating the amenities of the park. It is a military friendly park with two free nights per year for active duty and 20% off per night for all military, active or retired, During the winter season there are plenty of activities scheduled by Susan the activities director.
