My daughter and I had such a wonderful experience at Lebbers Pizza in Atascadero, and the service truly made the night. Nick was outstanding. He knew the menu thoroughly, offered thoughtful recommendations, and spoke about each dish with genuine knowledge and enthusiasm. He was attentive without hovering, polished yet warm. Scarlett also assisted us and was equally kind and professional. It's rare to feel so well taken care of from start to finish. We started with the carrot dish, which was exceptional. The carrots were excellently charred and laid over a silky beetroot purée, topped with burrata and fresh herbs and almonds that fit the dish in such a classic, balanced way. It was refined, thoughtful, and beautifully presented. We shared the Toadhead pizza, a delicious thin crust charred in all the right places. It featured mushrooms, a bright lemon garlic sauce, and thinly sliced red chilies that added just the right lift. Every bite felt intentional and balanced. We enjoyed our pizza and carrots with a glass of their lovely rosé and sat out on the little front patio, which was perfect for this almost-spring evening. This is not your ordinary pizza place. It's a step above, in both food and hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and will absolutely return. I first learned and tasted this pizza when he was baking in his oven outdoors at Hubba - loved it then, love it still and the brink and mortar location gives him the opportunity to expand his culinary ideas! After three visits so consistently is considered as part of this review, I whole heartedly recommend Lebbers to any and all pizza freaks. It's definitely quality over quantity when it comes to topping choices. Typically four kinds to choose from each carefully thought out and insanely delicious. Best of all the oven temperature is spot on yielding pizzas that are light, crispy, not soggy. Salads (especially the Caesar) and appetizers receive the same quality and creativity on par with the pizza. The wine list is eclectic and pairs beautifully with all of their offerings. We just had the most extraordinary pizza and wings with broccolini appetizer! Pizza was baked to perfection ultra thin crust, super yummy sauce and pepperonis all over with fennel sausage on my side! Wings were served with chunks of blue cheese and pickled celery. A nice crunchy outside with pipping hot meat on the inside. The broccolini was romancesca sauce with pepitas... perfection on a plate. Fantastic meal and first experience here. Was introduced to this place by my friend that lives in town, and I was visiting as I am from here. We shared the skewer appetizers, the caesar salad, and a spring pizza! We added on a few glasses of wine and shared a dessert. At the end, the bill was incredibly reasonable. Went to Lebber's recently for the first time. They have some good quality ingredients and pizza here. The menu changes frequently, with some qwirky options. My favorite was an app called Salmon Dip, which was absolutely delicious. I believe I had a Caesar salad which was good. I was not a fan of the pizza I got, which was covered in soggy green leaf veggies and lacked sauce. I had to get up mid-meal and go to the register to buy a side of ranch, for dipping (the crust was very good though!). My wife got a Margherita pizza which she enjoyed quite a bit. Service was fine for a restaurant without table service; friendly enough staff. It has a fun ambiance for adults and kids both, and is located in the beautiful, newly-gentrified Atascadero downtown. Hi, Lebbers is all things done well on a small scale. They have a small menu and a small dining room. If you sit at the bar, you can talk to Caleb who makes the pizzas and feel like you have made a new friend...Caleb was called Leb when growing up...hence Lebbers. We have had the lemon cream mushroom pizza, the pepperoni pizza made with locally made pepperoni and the wings...all are amazing. I think that they are open Wednesday through Saturday. Came around 5 on a Friday night and most of the tasting rooms were closing. However, found a this cute little pizza shop that looks like a pop-up with an Italian pizza oven hooked to a trailer. You could smell the wood burning oven and the awesome smell of fresh baked sourdough. Right next door was a winery opened late in Tin City.
