The wings were....well, let's talk about this slamming pizza. Hot off the press it was mouthwatering delicious, a party in my mouth. I was full after 2 slices and Ill admit I was sad. They put sesame seeds on the crust, which was a nice addition that I haven't seen before. We ordered a lot of pizza, and some very large, 20" pies, and yet they were done within 30 minutes on a busy Friday. The staff were very kind and courteous and offered to help us take the multiple boxes out to the car. First time trying this pizza joint this past Sunday and I enjoyed it. The cheesy garlic sticks were a little bland though compared to other places iv tried. I got the garlic chicken personal size pizza and thought it was good although it did have extremely large pieces of garlic instead of being minced. My son's pepperoni pizza was the best, I liked the sauce although my husband said it was a little too basic for his taste. Service was nice, they did accidentally give us an extra cheesy breadsticks and didn't realize. The toppings are generous on their pizzas, the sauce is great, and their pizza crust is very tasty. The ingredients taste high quality. Their pizza even tastes great when it gets cold, which is rare with a lot of places. The service is great. The staff always seem cheerful and friendly. The food doesn't take very long for them to get to you, once you order. Love that they have so many size pizzas to order from and in big sizes too. They have tables and chairs if you want to dine in and a soda fountain. Remind you of an old style Italian pizza take out restaurant. Definitely stop by and order a pizza. They have been in business for at least a decade now and the quality of the pizza is still top notch. It's always fresh and delicious! They definitely are one of the best pizza places in town. My order was ready in only 20 minutes from the time I called it in. I also ordered wings. They were also very tasty! I know I had not been here in some years but, I will definitely be making this my go to for my pizza needs now. The staff was very friendly too. I think that is always a good part of a good pizza joint. It's not the biggest pizza place in town. Wow! The pizza at this establishment was amazing! We weren't quite hungry enough for dinner when we stopped in Morro Bay or when we gassed up in SLO before the ride home, but by the time we got to Paso our tummies were rumbling. Checked for pizza on Yelp and found Pizza Planet had 4 stars and outdoor seating (traveling with the doggie). So off to Pizza Planet we went. Easy to get to from the 101. I walked up to the counter and ordered our favorite - a medium pizza with ham, mushrooms and sausage. It was only 10-15 minutes and our pizza was brought out to us at one of the two patio tables on the covered sidewalk. The girl who brought our pizza out asked if we would be eating there. When we said yes, she told us she'd bring us paper plates. She was right back with them and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Now for that pizza. It was sooooo cheesy! Yum! The red sauce was mild and flavorful. The thinly sliced ham was good and the sausage was mild and tasty. The crust was great! Perfectly cooked and just a bit chewy. Something I'd never had on a pizza...there were sesame seeds on it! Nice touch! They added a nice rich, nutty, toasted flavor. Overall, just a fantastic pizza! Three pieces of pizza each filled us nicely with two pieces left for the road. Highly recommend. We will definitely stop here again when passing through Paso at lunch or dinner time.
