Gyro Sandwich

I love the food here at Mediterranean Spice. Service is quick and the food is flavorful. The place is always clean. Join their rewards program and get free items . It is a great lunch spot!

This is a great spot with tons of potential if the Adobe plaza invested in some small upgrades to their outdoor area. The food is phenomenal, we'll definitely be back!

Good Mediterranean food at truly low prices (at least at this writing) for things like lamb kebabs. And the portions aren't skimpy--I had seven sizable pieces of lamb kebab, and an appetizer order of dolma had five pieces. Gyro meat was nicely seasoned. It wasn't exceptional, but it was a good value. Takeout order was ready promptly as promised. A solid choice for reasonable prices.

Such huge portions! We were so full! The garlic sauce and the spicy garlic sauce are my favorite. The gyro was super fresh and the pita bread was soft. The service was quick and the ambiance is very casual and friendly.

Kafta plate, sampler plate and babaganoush with pita.

Food was absolutely delicious! Flavors and textures and servings were great. Rice was flavorful and everything was fresh. Baklava was so so so good. Even the side salad and roasted veggies were delicious.

Chicken Gyro Sandwich

The food had great flavor, and the restaurant itself was clean with a nice ambiance. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the person taking my phone order was pretty rude, especially considering it was my first time trying this place. It honestly made me want to hang up. Thankfully, when I arrived, the service in person was fast and much better.

So of course, I ordered my favorite too, a salt bagel, extra toasted. My main goal was the soup, and when they said it was only available frozen, I was totally fine with that. It could thaw throughout the day and she could enjoy it whenever she felt up to it. Turns out, it was a great call. The soup had tiny bits of veggies and multiple matzo balls that were nice and sizable. She loved it, and honestly, it looked so good I'll be getting it for myself next time I'm feeling run down. Now the surprise star... that bagel. The chew was spot on. That perfect bakery-style texture with just the right crust. Not even close to a grocery store bagel. If you know, you know. The shop itself is small and super casual, with a very relaxed, neighborhood feel. Service was quick, about three minutes from ordering to walking out the door. They also have outdoor seating, which is a nice bonus. And one more thing worth mentioning... if you take a minute to look up at the menu board, they have a great selection of breakfast sandwiches. Definitely coming back to work my way through those. Great food, fast service, chill vibe... and that bagel chew alone is worth the stop.

I could barely see the pastries in the case. No worries though, I saw what I came in for. Purchased a French baguette for $3.70. Beyond amazed at the price. Excited to have some with my coffee, I ripped off a piece almost immediately and noticed the nice crust on the outside. 5 stars for the crust!! As for the flavor, it seemed a little flat. It was lacking some of the wheaty-tangy flavor you would get from a longer prove/fermentation. The inside of it was also missing all those nice deep pockets you see in a French baguette. Overall, not a bad baguette, but not one that you yearn for. I'd like to mention the young lady Annabel I had the privilege of meeting outside of the bakery. She was on a delivery run, but told me about their IG page, and we had a wonderful chat about cookies. Thank you for your time, Annabel, you are awesome!

She was taking multiple orders at once and asked three customers what they wanted--I was the third. I clearly ordered an Italian with double meat. She repeated it back correctly, so there was no confusion on my end. When the sandwich was made, it was obvious it did not have double meat. I calmly pointed it out, and instead of correcting it, she argued with me--saying "that's extra meat." I clarified again: I ordered double meat and understand the difference. Her response? A dismissive tone and "well then it will be a double charge," as if I wasn't already aware of that. That's literally what I ordered. From there, her attitude completely deteriorated--eye rolling, snapping back, and accusing me of being rude for simply asking to receive what I paid for. When I asked for a manager, she said she was the manager. That's the real issue here. If this is how management handles basic customer interactions--arguing, dismissing, and deflecting instead of correcting a simple mistake--there's a serious leadership problem at this location. I don't mind paying for quality. I do mind being talked down to and treated like I'm the problem for expecting my order to be right. I've been coming in pretty regularly, but that ends today, I'll never come back to this location Do better.

He was so rude I waited until he left even though I had already picked up my to go order. They also offer a Queen's Tea served in the charming backyard, which looked absolutely adorable and made for some wonderful photos. The outdoor seating has a cozy garden feel, with an Alice in Wonderland vibe, while the High Tea room inside is intimate, with just four tables. One table seats four guests, and the other three seat two each. During our visit, it seemed like nearly every table was celebrating a birthday, which added to the festive atmosphere. Atmosphere and decorations are off the chart. We started by choosing our tea from a full page of loose-leaf tea selections. Each tea arrived in an adorable little teapot with a beautiful china teacup. Shortly afterward, we were served a small coleslaw, followed by the classic three-tiered tea tray. The tray included a lovely assortment of finger sandwiches, fresh scones with clotted cream and jam, crumpets with additional preserves, and a top tier filled with miniature pastries and macarons. The portions were just right, leaving you with a sweet finish without feeling overly full. High Tea was $50 per person, which we felt was well worth it for the experience. I'm not sure of the current price for the Queen's Tea. Be sure to leave a little time to browse the gift shop before you go. It's filled with everything tea lovers could want, including beautiful loose-leaf teas, charming teaware, and the cutest fascinator hats. There are also plenty of picture-perfect spots throughout the property, and don't skip the restroom...it's worth a peek! (Texas knows bbq!) And Chef Gregory's is right up there. If you miss good southern or mid-western smoked BBQ stop in and give Gregory's a try. But I will say the fries were good once I dipped them in the dripping juices and sauce from the burger. But it was a very hearty burger and after a long drive, really hit the spot! First I was prepared because I lived in Atas 28 years and I knew the problem this location has with the middle school and high school kids hanging out here after school. They drive away customers and take up all the seating. Today it was raining in a freak May 28 storm so all the teens were inside. Worst case scenario and it's already normally bad. They even stand in the door and block you from entering as they are talking to another one walking by. I just made my way up the door and pushed forward not intending to be deterred. Inside the teens were taking up fully at least 3 tables for 4 people, mostly boys and there was an old couple in the corner trying to eat a meal that looked very uncomfortable. The teens, none of them had food ordered or on the table. All they do is buy soda or take it as they knew the cashier young girl. I wonder if they even pay for it. I saw her hand them cups I've seen other reviews with people complaining like me about the place being overrun with non paying customers. They will stand in the way too and block the drink machines, door access or whatever. They also have no manners and will not move or say excuse me or anything. All tough guys. lol. I had to kinda push my way through to get to the register. I told my little grandsons to quickly sit down at the only empty table and wait for me while I ordered to go. The girl at the counter was sweet and helpful which was a relief. Note: They give you a discount if you pay with cash. Our order cane up pretty quick because we were the only paying customers left since the old couple already had their food. The place was 100% full with squatters taking all the tables and management needs to step up and post signs. If not dining please move along and afk them to get out of the chairs and leave. !!!!!!! When weather is nice outside even more hoards are out there and it's difficult for families or couples to enjoy a meal. We got home with the food for our 9 year olds birthday dinner and the fries were soggy greasy. I even put them in my big air fry oven to warm and crisp them but they remained soggy. The onion rings were crispy. The 3 large tri tip salads were pretty good but I can only eat lean tri tip. Most of it was not edible for me. The boys liked their kids burgers. Dan had the 1/3 lb bacon burger with cheddar and he liked it. Anyway this restaurant would greatly increase their profit and be a comfortable place if they stepped up and saved tables for paying guests who order food. Isn't that the point of a restaurant?
