Yum! Super fun and delicious pizza... hutch?... at Hubba Winery. It's a cute little mobile take out window with a pizza oven attached. Tons of tables with umbrellas around, in addition to the indoor seating at Hubba. It looked like they had a concert venue set up at Hubba, which I hadn't known about until we popped by to try Lebber's. The folks running this spot are super friendly and helpful. My husband and I shared the Calabreezy (described as tomato, mozzarella, calabrese, pecorino romano, sicilian oregano, chili oil, sierra farms honey) and the Shroomy (described as white wine lemon cream sauce, garlic, mozzarella, roasted mushrooms, guanciale, fontina, parmesan, fresno chili, parsley), along with a side of their homemade ranch. I had a big, lovely cup of the rhubarb lemonade as well. It was great on a hot day. These pizzas were delicious. The Calabreezy is bringing some really fun spice, and the lemon in the Shroomy is just a lovely way to put a new spin on a white sauce, and we loved the fresno chili ribbons adding just the right amount of heat to it. The toppings weren't piled high, but that also isn't really the expectation with gourmet pizzas like these, using high-quality ingredients more strategically, either. We had a bit of everything on each slice and were happy campers. All in all, we were big fans of both of the pizzas, and their homemade ranch, while a bit eyebrow-raising at $3 for a single 2-oz cup, if my memory serves (possible that I'm misremembering- apologies if that is the case), was full of fresh dill and very tasty, especially with the spicier Calabreezy. We'll for sure be checking these folks out again. The pineapple pizza looked absolutely delicious, too. read more

Walk to the patio area of Hubba Wines, and you will see Lebber's Pizza! We thought we were lost but kept going and found it! The pizza was so good! I also liked their Caesar Salad and devoured everything! They also have Vietnamese Coffee Ice Cream on their menu, which I didn't have room to try but hope to next time! After a six state summer foodie tour what a shocker!! Number one pizza of the whole summer!!! Really interesting topping combos, very high grade ingredients clearly some serious skill by this chef. We chose a Caesar salad and pizza pairing. The salad was really different, lemon base dressing was really light and was a great pair with the pizza.a crumble on top of the salad was really interesting and had us fighting for the last bite! Lebber's Pizza @ Hubba Wines is an excuse to go to a winery if I've ever seen one (not that you need it). It's decidedly one of the best pizzas that I've had period. And easily the best gluten free pizzas that I've tried. Wow. I went to Hubba Winery for an event and almost didn't try the pizza - because I didn't want to load up on carbs... I ended up eating about 3+ pizzas to myself. That good. The crust is special. It's thin. It has a great char. It has a great crunch and the ingredients are premium. Fantastic. I tried a number of different t combinations from mushrooms, to pepperoni/salami, to Hawaiian, and everything in between. I didn't have a single pie, nor slice, that I didn't like. They put it out and I ate it. I also tried the gluten free pizza too and it was almost as good as the non-gluten free pizza and it's honestly better than most normal crusts that I've tried. Fantastic pizza. You pair that with a very casual and fun atmosphere/vibe, from Hubba, and you have a dangerous combo. The staff is incredibly friendly too. Great experience all around. Tucked in a corner of Tin City, next to Hubba Wines, is an unassuming trailer and portable, wood fire, old school pizza oven. With Hubba on one side and railroad tracks on the other is Lebber's Pizza. I love discovering gems and this is a gem. Grab a glass of wine at Hubba and enjoy dining outside at their picnic tables. I had the Red Rocket which had a beautiful crust, simple, balanced, and well, darn near perfect. Growing up in NYC, pizza is a staple. Was visiting Paso and we were wanting something to eat and found Lebbers. It's an outdoor place with a sort of food truck setup. Of course there was a wine shop next door so if you wanted wine and a pizza you're all set. We each ordered a different pizza. There was not an extensive selection but enough to satiate the masses. Suffice to say the pizza was delicious. Crisp crust, fresh ingredients and just the right size. We'd come back to Paso just for this pizza! So good. The Lebber family arrived at Ellis Island, New York in the United States in the early 20th century along with a tidal wave of Italian immigrants. "Surfs up, Fratello!" The arrival of the Lebber family in the United States also meant the arrival of the Lebber family cooking recipes.
