This buffet was referred from our car rental rep when we arrived to Orlando. It was a short 3-5 min drive. They do have a parking lot which fills up pretty fast. I will say I was not expecting that many food options. There is definitely something for all taste buds. The prices are reasonably priced. The seating is inside. The line moves pretty fast. My food was very good. I would definitely return if I am ever in the Orlando area.

On such a gloomy afternoon I needed a good pick me up for lunch! My coworkers and I decided to have food from Lechonera which I haven't had in a long time! My typical go to if I'm not getting the lunch special is the tripleta which has pernil, steak, and ham with cheese and a delicious pink sauce! Our food was ready pretty fast, so we were able to eat on time, which is huge when you're limited to your lunch time. The sandwich looks unassuming as it's not very big but let me tell you I was so full by the time I finished eating it all! I also ordered a side of macaroni salad to share with the table which had peppers in it that I absolutely loved! Overall this was a great experience, and I'd love to come back and try more of what the restaurant and kind staff have to offer.

A lot of love was put into cooking all the food, just like going to your grandma's house for gathering. As for the staff, they make sure you get a generous portion on the food you picked. Their service is great and fast, but more importantly their food is mouth watering good. It always leaves me with a craving to come back and a full stomach ready to tackle the rest of my workday. My favorites have consisted of a Cuban sandwich which is full of pork and sauce and toasted nicely. It also does not fall apart when eating which is a plus when you are trying to stay looking presentable. Their pork is amazingly juicy and just falls apart in your mouth and has been worth every stain I have accidentally caused on my dress shirts. The white rice is fluffy and simple and good but their yellow rice is much better with many items. Their chicharron de cerdo is crispy and breaks easy and it's never been hard or chewy. Their ropa vieja is also delicious and I can't help but devour the entire plate. The rice and beans paired real good with this! My favorite sides have been the avocado salad and their macaroni salad! Both very light and balanced well with light citrus flavors in the avocado salad. I'll keep coming back here because the food honestly reminds me of so many great dishes my family use to make at home and after eating at so many places around Orlando I had yet to find a better place to get Spanish food like this!

A disaster. Not Recommended for Large Groups…read more We made a reservation for 15 people and called ahead. They asked for a $10 per person deposit ($150 total), which we paid without complaint. My wife even got the name of the person who took the reservation--Josymar--who was actually really nice on the phone. Too bad that was the last nice thing about this experience. When we showed up, the greeter acted like they had no idea about any reservation. No tables were ready, and the whole vibe was "ugh, a big group." You could just feel the annoyance rolling off them. Our server, Stephanie, was an absolute mess. She was scattered, had this bar-attitude energy, and seemed completely uninformed. Here's just one example: we ordered appetizers that took forever to come out. When they finally arrived, one was missing. By the time the main dishes started showing up, we told her to cancel the empanadas. Her response? "Sorry, I can't cancel them now--the kitchen might already be working on them." Really? We had to push back and told her we were not going to eat it. We also ordered the Mofongo with Churrasco and specifically asked for the garlic sauce on the side (which, by the way, doesn't even taste like garlic). She flat-out refused and said the sauce had to come on top. No flexibility whatsoever. Pretty much everything came out cold--appetizers, sushi, you name it. We constantly had to chase her down for drink refills. Eventually we'd had enough and asked for the manager. Amanda came over and was polite, but she basically defended all the screw-ups. The only person who actually helped us was José, a server in training who wasn't even assigned to our table. He went out of his way to bring food and drinks while everyone else seemed checked out. The appetizers were a total rip-off too. They push an "upgrade" to add pork chunks, but it's really just fatty, chewy bits that were cold and unappetizing. Oh, and they only allow 3 checks for the whole group, with just one server for 15 people. Of course they add the automatic 20% gratuity for big parties--so why bother trying when the money's already guaranteed? This was hands-down the worst service we've had in years. Complete disaster. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else if you've got more than a few people.

When you walk up to the truck you are greeted by the friendly workers who advise you to place your order on the screen and if you need assistance they are more than happy to help. Once your order is placed they will send you a text message when it's ready. They do have a little canopy area with tables and seating, but it's so hot to be outside I opted to wait and eat in my car. We waited about 30 minutes before receiving our food and once we received it you could tell everything was freshly made. We ordered a combo that came with 2 pinchos, 2 pieces of bread, 2 orders of loaded fries,2 mofongo balls. And 2 drinks. The pincho meat is big meaty chunks and well seasoned. These were some of the biggest pinchos I've found in Orlando and the price was really reasonable. The loaded fries were ok, just typical fries with bacon and cheese. These mofongo balls had good seasoning, they weren't dry at all, and the perfect portion. The garlic bread was good as well and was soft. Overall everything was great! The seasoning on all the food was perfect, the portions were more than enough, and the prices extremely reasonable. The only negative I have to say is that it took long for us to receive the food but everything was freshly made and I appreciate all the hard work they do during the extremely hot fl summer.

Once we found out they had a restaurant, we knew we had to check it out. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside with great vibes and a nice atmosphere. Our first visit was mostly good, but I would not recommend the tripleta. All you taste is the burnt tortilla, and it wasn't like a typical tripleta sandwich. The second time we went was for a graduation celebration, and sadly most of the food was a miss. The grilled chicken and sauces were especially disappointing--expensive, bland, and not something I'd order again. The drinks were also disappointing and tasted more like sugary syrup than actual cocktails or fresh drinks. We chalked it up to maybe being an off day. That being said, we also ordered catering for the graduation before the unfortunate dinner, and the catering was amazing. We ordered pernil, leg porchetta, arroz con gandules, and roasted whole chicken. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well done with no complaints at all. I just wish the dine-in experience matched the catering and food truck experience better. Overall, I would still recommend Crocante because when they're good, they're really good. The service was okay, nothing special, but not bad either. The space is beautiful, the vibes are great, and some items are definitely worth trying.

I'll be transparent..we spent about $80 for the two of us, and it was absolutely worth it. I was hoping I wouldn't be disappointed, and they truly delivered. We started with the fried cheese bites with guava sauce, and wow... what a perfect opener. The outside had this delicate crisp, the inside was warm and creamy, and the guava sauce added that perfect sweet‑salty balance without feeling heavy. It tasted like the kind of appetizer you savor slowly because you don't want it to end. It set the tone beautifully for the rest of the meal. My mom ordered the passion fruit juice, and the moment she took a sip, she looked at me like she'd been transported straight back to Puerto Rico. It was bright, refreshing, a little sour, and so full of flavor, not watered down, not overly sweet, just pure passion fruit goodness. It honestly made me nostalgic too, the way certain flavors can bring you home. For my entrée, I ordered the grilled chicken with a small mofongo on the side, and it was incredible. The chicken was juicy and tender which is rare because most places overcook it and it had this beautiful herb flavor from the peppers and cilantro. You could taste the freshness in every bite. The mofongo was smooth, garlicky, and perfectly seasoned. I've had a lot of mofongo in my life, and this one is easily one of the top. It had that perfect balance of texture and flavor that makes you want to keep going back for another bite. My mom ordered the mofongo with shrimp, and the shrimp were huge, plump, and juicy ..not rubbery or overcooked. The sauce tied everything together so well, and every bite felt like a memory of being back on the island. Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The wait was long, but honestly, it was worth it. Our server was attentive without rushing us, checked in at the right moments, and let us enjoy our meal at our own pace. The whole experience felt intentional and warm. If you're craving authentic Puerto Rican flavors that make you feel at home, this place is it. I would definitely come back. And next time, I'm trying even more from their menu.

Plus, they were on Uber Eats and I didn't feel like going out. Ordered my usual Jamaican dish - brown stew chicken with rice and peas and vegetables. Started out with the carrot cake - 10/10. Cake was moist, cream cheese icing was creamy and not too sweet, a good amount of carrots in the cake, a big portion sliced in half for sharing, and an affordable price. Brown stew chicken - 5/10. Ok flavor, but the chicken was kind of dry. I would have liked extra gravy but was unable to make that special request. Rice and peas - 10/10. Rice was good, nice hint of coconut milk, peas cooked perfectly. Veggies - 2/10. Bland AF. Everything except for the cabbage tastes like it came from a can. Plantain - 2/10. Bland, kinda dry. Would only order from here again for the carrot cake.
