The alcapurria de carne was ok, but nothing I would crave or come back for. There was no ac and it was like 90 degrees outside. If I lived local I would've taken the food to go but unfortunately, I had to sit there and suffer to eat one of the sorriest excuses for puerto rican food I've had so far. Unfortunately, the pork I received was nearly half fat, even though I requested less fat and more meat. The worst was the piece of pork skin, it was soggy, any Puerto Rican or Cuban will tell you this is No Bueno The rice was probably the best part of the meal, even though it was not served very hot. Overall, for the price I paid, I expected better food quality, customer service, and consistency. Total lunch with flan $58... lunch ! It would not have been such a shock if the food was good. I brought 1/3 home to doctor up .. that was a lost cause. My flan was semi dry no juice to it or cream in taste. I do not know if I would go again and order something else. My two friends split a paella $85.00 and and two sangrias ...when they got their $ 118 .00 bill for the lunch with tip they almost passed out. They said it was good but not that price good for a lunch menu. But the presentation of the paella in a grilled fish was surprising.
