Had them booked for a move where our time window was 48 hours to get back to our current city until my contract is complete. Tried for several days to call to confirm, no answer and voice mail full. Finally got an email back the night before they were supposed to come saying "not on our books dont accept credit cards." No call. No clarification. No trying to clear up the problem with at least a courtesy "Im sorry you had us booked for this, but we must have messed up or had a miscommunication." Left us high and dry. The two workers who did the heavy lifting were efficient and responsible, but the owner of the business disappeared for two hours after the truck was full before bringing it to the new location, and when he did arrive, he was noticeably intoxicated. Drinking and driving is dangerous in general, but drinking and driving a commercial sized moving truck was beyond my imagination until I saw it happen. Thankfully he didn't crash, because he had about 75% of my belongings with him. When the end of the day came, he tried to claim that he'd only taken one hour for lunch, but his workers verified that they'd been done at the old house at one and that he didn't show up to the new one until three. They even warned me before he got there that he might try to do this. I didn't pay for that extra hour, but I wish I hadn't paid at all. read more

We have used Leclair movers numerous times over the years to move us and our relatives. Unfortunately they let us down big time yesterday. They were loud and obnoxious. They scratched the floors and didn't care. They arrived drunk and even told us they had come from the bar down the street. When we called to let the office know about our dissatisfaction they told us the owner would call tomorrow. The owner called and made excuses for them. He didn't seem to care either. Oh well next time someone asks me I'll recommend anyone but Leclair. read more

We used LeClair Movers the first week of December 2018 to move a family member from Regency Towers in New Bedford to aother apartment building ten miles away. Both buildings had service elevators and the move required coordination. LeClair Movers sent four men to do the job. They arrived right on time as scheduled. They were highly professional and wasted no time. The entire move was completed in about 3 1/2 hours and even with a tip the total ended up at less than the estimate. Nothing was broken or damaged and we were extremely pleased with their attitude and professionalism. The rate was fair and well worth it in my opinion! And I didn't hurt my back! I called Leclair Movers to move because someone told me to use them - Worst thing I ever did They took my stuff from my home and put them in a storage unit They threw every thing in the storage unit so it looked like a junk pile then they keep my living room set for themself I called and asked where it was and the owner Mike said Oh I thought you said I could have it Which I did not say then he said if I wanted he would deduct it off the bill which he did not do he told me that the hours that they worked and he took a half hour off for lunch which was I lie cause one of his worker told me that they took almost 2 hours for lunch He ripped me off and stole my stuff He doubled the hours Leclair Movers are a rip off and thiefs and the worst thing about it is that I can't do anything about it I'm so pissed off that this company would do this to me PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE YOUR STUFF OR TO PUT ANYTHING IN STORAGE THEY ARE THIEFS AND LIER AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL read more

On Tuesday Nov. 5, the men from LeClair's arrived. They were on time and were cordial and friendly. The move of a heavy and bulky bedroom set was done from the second floor to the first. There was not a mark on the furniture, no scrapes on the walls and the railings on the staircase were covered with quilts. The price was very fair my wife and I give them a five star rating. R. Emailed and called multiple times with absolutely no response. No one answers the phone and there is no way to leave a message. No response to emails either. I've used them in the past and was very impressed, but very disappointed by their lack of response. They lost a customer. read more

These guys were recommended to me from my family. They have moved furniture and pianos for us in the past at least three other times. Today they moved my grandfathers piano into my home. They took great care with it and absolutely knew what they were doing. It was fast and professional. We couldn't be happier with this company ! I usually don't go by reviews, but I wish I did when I chose LeClairs. I saw some mixed reviews, so I figured I would give them a chance. This was a mistake, because they showed up almost an hour late. Once they finally completed packing the truck, they took over an hour lunch break. The two movers on the crew were very professional and tried to be careful w the furniture, but the foreman or owner was lazy and incompetent. As they began to remove items from the truck, the old foreman told me he broke my 55" 4k HD TV. This was because of a stupid reason, he thought he could around with securing it to the truck or surrounding area. One a the crew members then said, I told you to secure it before you drive off! He then told me that his company would replace it and its been 10 days w no call or replacement of my TV. All calls I've made have been screened w no answer or call back. This should not reflect the two laborers because they worked but this foreman/owner does not care and it shows how lazy he was and now refuses to replace my TV until I take his ass to court.
