I ate one square, then tossed the rest. Costco pizza is better than this, and that's saying a lot. I will never understand why Ledo's is as popular as it is, but many enjoy it. I first tasted Ledo's when they contributed to lunch for my job during the pandemic. It was like no pizza I had ever had. From the crust to the cheese to their famous sauce, I couldn't believe how delicious it was. The classic pepperoni is sooo good! The pepperonis are thickly sliced and have so much flavor. Leaving 3 stars because the pizza was great. Crispy on the bottom and very satisfying. However, I won't ever order anything but pizza here again; the fries were soggy (got a piece that wasn't even cooked) and my hot honey and old bay wings barely had honey and they were soggy too. It looks as if they lined the bottom of the tray with honey and dipped them all in old bay. So only some have honey and if it does it's only on one side. (I've ordered from other locations and it was not prepared like this). My order was carry out. Usually plastic containers have holes because the hot food will clearly sweat. Ledo's has been a fav of mine . Use to go to the original in Langley Park . It's just rare to sit and have the most polite person we have had in a long time make us feel welcome. I have visited this Ledo's location many times & finally writing a review. We usually come here for lunch. This time we ordered a few salads. Grilled Chicken Salad (my favorite), Greek Salad and Bbq Chicken Salad. You can't go wrong with any of the salads. We've had their pizza also which has a medium thick crust and comes in a square shape. Also have Gluten free available. A good variety of sandwiches/subs (Italian Cold cut!) also. The Ledo Stromboli is excellent but don't look at the calorie total. We ended up sitting outside which was nice as it was a beautiful day. Umbrellas for the tables would be a good addition. This will probably become our wing place! We ordered on a whim because it was the closest place I could find that has gf crust available. I'm not a huge fan of the texture, so we'll have to try the cauliflower crust next time. The Buffalo sauce they have has captured my heart and mouth because it was like no suace I've ever had, which is a good thing. This sauce was not traditional and homemade so it is packed with flavor. They didn't sauce my wings for our to-go order, but provided the sauce on the side and I could then control the amount of sauce used. I of course used the whole container once I tasted it. This also helped preserve the crispy fry on the wings. They were cooked perfectly as well. Alex said his fries didn't maintain crisp, but that's likely from it being too humid in the container they came in. He did enjoy them nonetheless. I especially appreciate Ledo staff for not getting annoyed when we went to pickup order and didn't realize it didn't go through on our end because of zip code error and then waiting to get a text from me about what we ordered. Alex said they were super friendly and understanding. Everything was nice and hot when it finally got home to be consumed. I will say their pizza sauce is really good and I appreciate the gluten free options they provide because not many in Middle River area provide it. read more

We usually get the Sweet Baby-Q Chicken Pizza w/ pineapple but sometimes they forget our add-on orders such as the garlic dip (which costs extra) but sometimes we forget about it. Every now and then we visit Ledo's for their soup and salad. The past few visits have been a hit and miss with the soup. The barbecue wings are always on point. They are always served crispy, hot and delicious. Now the soups vary depending on the day of the week. This visit I had the broccoli and cheddar. We recently had our soccer team celebration dinner at this Ledo location, and they truly went above and beyond to cater to our boys and their families. The manager on duty at the time, Chris, was awesome. He made the boys popcorn and was constantly checking in to see how everything was going. Servers were fast and attentive. Every now and then, my friends and I would visit Ledo's for their pizza, drinks, and appetizers. The drinks are always on point and my favorite appetizer to get is the spicy toasted ravioli. They are served hot and crispy, just the way I like them, but the ravioli could be spicier. As for the pizza, it is always a hit or miss. When it's a miss, the sauce is full of sugar, lacks garlic, and tastes worse than the faux frozen pizza you see at grocery stores. Additionally, the crust tastes like it has been frozen and arguably, even if the sauce, cheese, and toppings were decent, the bad crust would ruin the entire pie. Thankful for this establishment for seating us for a team dinner. We had 8 players, 1 manager, 2 coaches and the bus driver. It was about 7:30 on a Thursday and the order was taken quickly and precisely. I was hopeful it wouldn't take forever to get our food because of all that was ordered and the amount of people...but the food was served quickly. Our waiter was great and was helpful. First off, the honey barbecue wings we ordered were not honey barbecue; the waitress messed up; we clearly said honey barbecue. Eh... I'd give this place somewhere between 3 and 3.5 stars. Let me start by saying I was born in NY and have remained in that area all my life so I am v. picky when it comes to certain foods, e.g. bagels, cheesecake, and especially pizza (just to name a few). I like my pizza crust to be just that - crusty - with a nice, chewy center, the sauce to be sweet and smooth, and the cheese to be generous but doesn't dominate the dish. That being said, let me get to my review. I've been in Baltimore for a little less than a year for work and haven't had pizza until I recently went to Ledo Pizza. I'd been reluctant to get pizza because knowing how atrocious the bagels are around here, honestly, I was scared and not in the mood to waste my money on bad food. However, my companion suggested we have a Glee & pizza night (don't judge us). I browsed the reviews for Ledo (the best rated of the pizza places nearby) and read about the pastry-like crust and was immediately turned off but we went for it anyway. We ordered the Italian white pizza and a dozen wings with buffalo sauce and chile lime sauce. The wings were simply fried and they gave us the sauce on the side. I actually really appreciated that because it meant that the wings weren't soggy by the time we got back to the apartment. They were still crisp and we were able to add as much sauce as we wanted, so 4 stars for that. I'm deducting 1 star because the sauces weren't all that delicious. The pizza was as I suspected, a disappointment. The crust seemed buttery and it was really crumbly - like Shawn C. said, it was like a pie crust. And normally, when I get square pizza, it's a Sicilian pizza which has a nice thick crust so this was quite a turnaround. The toppings were okay, but it was too salty for me; I think they used way too much of the sharp cheeses (parmesan and asiago). The taste actually reminded me of Domino's cheesy bread, and I was expecting something a little more gourmet, from the description. It was tolerable though and I did manage to finish a few slices. Though the pizza wasn't up to my standards, it was affordable. We got a ton of food (enough leftovers for two more meals) for a decent price. And the service was friendly - both on the phone and in the store - and it was fast. Our order was ready when they said it would be and the girl working the cashier was able to check me out in a jiffy. I did appreciate the fact that she opened up the pizza box to show me the pizza and asked me, "Does this look okay?" It's a nice touch to ask you to inspect your own pizza, that way you don't waste your time if your order ends up being wrong and it saves the pizza place some trouble as well.
