I ordered 3 pizza, two small and one medium. The two small pizza was the correct order, but the one medium was not what I had ordered. The medium pizza was a 1/2 and 1/2 of a wrong type. The topping had 4 out of the 6 correct and not right sides. By the time I realized the order was wrong I was already home ready to eat. We've eaten at many Ledo's all over the metro area and this is probably the best Ledo's pizza we've had. Reminds me of the original in College Park area back in the day when I attended the University of Maryland. Plain chicken wings were fried Perfectly, not burned and dried out like other places. Celery, fresh, crispy with zero dark ends (you know when it sits out too long). The Pizza was actually thin crust as it should be. Other Ledo's tend to make the pizza a bit too thick to be called the Original thin crust. Took the family and wifey and kids and they all loved it. I hope they keep up the quality. read more

Horrible . My pizza was dripping out of the box. I walked back in and told the cashier. he had stated it seemed heavy. The entire box was full of grease and soaked. We ordered a medium pizza. I was sitting at the table next to the window where I could see into the kitchen. I watched a piece of our pizza fall off the tray. It looked like the guy bent down and picked it up from the floor. I watched him put it back on the tray, sprinkle cheese on it, and put it back in the oven to melt the cheese. Two minutes later, the waitress delivered the pizza. I told her what happened and she said the slice fell on a shelf, not the floor... but I'm not sure that was the truth. She offered to make a new one when I told her that I saw what happened. I said we'd just take the pizza because the kids were too hungry to wait. I removed the suspect piece. I haven't been to Ledo Pizza in years, but decided to go their for lunch with coworkers. We walked in and we're able to seat ourselves. Shortly our waiter arrived who was very nice. There wasn't to many things on the menu that peaked my interest, but they do have a variety items on their menu ( Pizza, salads, calzones/stromboli, subs, sandwiches, soups, pasta, appetizers). Out of everything that was on the menu, the Rossi Verde caught my attention. The Rossi Verde is a pizza that comes with crust brushed with garlic butter and topped with tomatoes, smoked provolone cheese, pesto drizzle, fresh basil, and shredded parmesan cheese. The pizza had a good flavor, and a nice appearance. My favorite part was the crust; it was super flaky and buttery. Almost like a pie crust but for pizza. The 8 inch pizza was filling, I ended up eating about half and taking the rest to go. My husband and I love Ledo's pizza, so we were super excited when this location opened close by! We had a great experience sitting at the bar, nice beer selection (Bell's 2 Hearted!), cool aesthetic, a friendly bartender, and they were playing Disney movies- oh the nostalgia. I was worried the pizza wouldn't be the same since we had tried the Columbia location and it was awful, but the pizza was AMAZING, if not one of the best Ledo's pizza I have ever had. I was super excited when I googled Ledo's near me (expecting the Columbia location to show up, which I'm "eh" about) and a new location popped up first, less than five minutes from me, yay :) My husband is BEYOND a picky eater, and whoever spoke to him on the phone was very patient with all the questions he asked about one cheese steak sub (it was a male that answered, that's all I remember). We ordered the south street cheese steak sub and we also ordered a pizza, and we were told about 10-15 minutes before it would be ready. We arrived a few minutes shy of 15 minutes and paid right away, and our food was ready within a minute. ( I forgot to mention it was well after 8pm when we ordered) To be honest, the only "downside", if you can call it that, was I felt old walking in, because the staff all seemed to be 15-year-old-boys (haha!), but clearly they work well together. Our food was still hot by the time we got home too! I've been an avid Ledo's customer for maybe 10 years now. The Clarksville location never wants to make food after 9pm, and the Columbia location seems too laise faire whenever I walk in there, like they don't give two craps about me or my money. As long as the Elkridge location continues to avoid these mistakes, I'm sure they'll be much more successful :) I will definitely update this review as I continue ordering from them. We eat late, that's just how our jobs work, so if I ever get an attitude about the time I'm ordering or told "no", Yelp'ies will be the first to read about it! (I saw complaints about this from other users) *May I suggest a sign separating "kitchen hours" from "dining hours"? If your kitchen really does close at 9:30 when your sign says 10:00, then tell us. Can't be mad if you were warned! And that way, people know to order BY 9:30, but also know that they are welcome to sit until 10:00. (Just a thought!) read more

My family and I came into the store today and they were very busy! Usually we sit with Mercedes or Bethany.. our other favorite had a baby we believe so we haven't seen her in awhile. There were a few dirty tables but were quick to address that they'd get things cleaned for us as soon as they could. We have come in many Saturdays and this is one of the busiest we have seen. The guy that was working (I am unsure of his name) was very nice and said he'd be right with us after he cleaned a table. We got Bethany tonight which was great because as always although they were packed took great care of us. It was great watching them all working as a team to help each other running food to all of the tables. We will be back next week and hopefully we will get to sit at our favorite booth (by the wood wall) that was taken when we came in. Kudos to this team. The moment we walked in the door the gentleman up front were quick to greet us and make us feel at home. Worst Ledo's in the area. Not Sanitary. Cooks aren't Clean. When I ordered I made sure to request my pizza well done because in the images submitted on google, the pizzas had looked a bit under-cooked. When I got my pizza not only was it under-cooked but the bacon had been thrown on as an after thought; not baked with the pizza. I have gotten the deluxe from many different Ledo's and had never experienced this. This caused the bacon to fall off and It wasn't even hot. In addition to the poorly prepared pizza, while I was waiting, I noticed that no one back the kitchen was wearing gloves. So gross. So unsanitary. I could only see a glimpse into the back but I counted 6 people back there, none of them wearing gloves. Also there was too much horseplay around the food. Live in area and noticed they were open. As a matter of fact today was their opening - I assume it was a soft opening as most of customers were friends/family of workers. It was seat yourself and we quickly found a booth and shortly thereafter our server arrived. She was friendly and admitted to being nervous but she did fine. As for food I had broccoli cheese soup and a small precooked bacon and onion pizza which were good. Hubby had a Caesar salad which was just ok. This was very disappointing. We've always enjoyed going to Ledo elsewhere, so were surprised when the food was a little different even though the menu is the same. What was really bad, though, was the timing of the food. There was at least 15 minutes betwern when two of us got our food and the other two got theirs. Our waitress was nowhere to be found during this time. The very least she could have done was come out to tell us about the delay. When I asked about it, I was simply told that the kitchen staff was new and still learning. I'm sorry, but if you're going to open the next location in a chain, you hire people who know what they're doing. If you don't, then you have a kitchen manager to make sure these things don't happen. And when they do, your wait staff should be attentive and sympathetic, not defensive and dismissive. I so wanted this to be a good experience ... but it wasn't. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about this Ledo location! We've visited multiple times and even had my daughter's birthday party here. The shining star of this business is the manager, Bethany. After our first discussion about the party, she stayed in contact with me over email and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. I love the pizza at Ledos but this location really needs to focus on the customer's experience. Tonight they were clearly off their game, understaffed, several tables not bused and a rude Manager (Bethany), to top it off! We arrived and the sign clearly says "seat yourself" My family walked back to find a seat and there were literally only around 4 tables that were clean but would not comfortably fit my family with a high chair. The Mgr looked flustered and annoyed that we were in the dining room looking for a seat and told us to go to the front and wait until she could get some tables cleaned. There was also s huge sports team that arrived and then took up around 6 tables. Then I thought she was calling us back but then she said don't come yet I was just curious if you wanted a booth. At that point I said forget it bc I could tell it would not be a pleasant, relaxing dining experience if the managers attitude was that bad. Why waste your hard earned money to be treated rudely, stress out while eating out, & be expected to tip someone for that kind of treatment?? Not me, I just ordered my food to go. I will say the young man working the register should be the manager, I wish I knew his name. He was courteous, competent, funny & apologetic about them being short-staffed. Very disappointed in this Ledo's location. The server (Collin) we got didn't show up to the table for a while and a different server had to take our drink order. The the server who took our order got it wrong twice before getting it right. Then we waited and waited for at least 40 minutes with no sign of our food or server. So I asked the other server who had taken our drink order what the status was and she said there had been an issue with the order and it was just placed 5 minutes ago and it will take another 5 or 10 minutes. The original server then came over and said there was a mistake because he forgot to hit the 'send' button to place the order and he was going to bring us mozzarella sticks in the meantime since it was going to be another 10 minutes. It was nice that they gave us extra food at no cost but why didn't the server let us know before having to ask someone else? We never heard from a manager about the situation. Not a good first impression at all. I think we will visit the other locations as we have always had much better customer service at those locations. read more

Ledo's is a chain, and I've eaten at Ledo's before with passable results. This particular restaurant opened yesterday, and it showed, painfully. I had my wife pre-order on my way home from work so I wouldn't have to wait so long. The entry way was packed with people, and the door to enter had an automatic closer that was so tight, you could barely open it. Once inside, it would slam into your butt and knock you into the person standing in front of you, drawing the expected response. Everyone was standing in one line, even though another employee was just standing there at a register. As I had just arrived, I was about the ask the family in front of me to go ahead to the open register when another customer came from behind and cut us off. The employee saw and ignored this. When I finally got an employee's attention and told him I was there to pick up my order, he couldn't find it. This set me to waiting. As I waited, another customer, a child accompanied by his mother, power puked in the doorway. At least she informed an employee before immediately departing. But then, nothing happened. The barf just sat there by the doorway as customers entered and exited, walking through it. I finally approached the counter again seeking my order. Lo and behold, it was ready all along. They forgot to ask for a name on the order, so it was just sitting there as I sucked up the germs from the barf. After I finished paying, I reminded them pointedly that the woman's child had up-chucked at the entrance and that no one was doing anything about it. I didn't wait to see if they took any action. This Ledo's did not win any future business from me. The managers may want to conduct some much needed remedial training with their staff. read more
