In place an uber eats order with Alfredo chicken and Alfredo shrimp , the order came up to be 70 dollars and I called back because I realized I forgot to put (vodka sauces ) instead of white sauce and they said They already made it and can't make a new one for more order . So now I'm stuck paying 70$ for a meal I do not want . Will never order to this place again because they couldn't even remake and repack my order even tho I offered to pay an up charge ! read more

I came here for lunch. They offer a buffet which is nice, however I wasn't that hungry this time. So i ordered a meatball parmesan hero with extra cheese. It wasn't crowded so I was able to get a good seat. It was a beautiful day so the large windows was great to soak up some sun. I only had to wait maybe 10mins before my sandwich came. They actually served it to my table which I liked. The meatballs were good not super heavy and overall a good portion. The service was good and i do recommend. read more

I ordered the 10 inch lunch pizza with cheese and mushrooms for lunch and a Caesar salad for dinner later. I ordered via DoorDash. I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was very good and I had a hard time only eating 1/2 of it. The Caesar salad was huge and had tons of cheese on it. It made for an outstanding dinner. read more

I would say this is probably one of the best Italian restaurants in the DMV. I like that they make their pasta sauce from scratch and not use canned tomato sauces. They use just the right amount of garlic. Their sauce is very flavorful and the garlic is not overpowering. The garlic bread that comes with their pasta is absolutely delicious! I normally will order an extra garlic bread. The portions are still very good despite the inflation. My favorite is their Mostaccioli (penne) a la Matricianna ( with Italian bacon). I can't get enough of this dish. Their seafood linguine is always good and their calamari appetizer is cooked perfectly and served with marinara sauce for dipping. I think they are second generation of the family who run it now, a lot of the old people are retired. I'm so glad they have maintained the same taste and quality over the years! read more

CML has been around for many, many, years and used to be our 'go-to' place. Don't remember why we stopped visiting but we have rekindled our taste buds with this Italian treasure in Hanover, MD. Everything at CML is homemade and the dishes are plentiful, hot, and delicious. The chicken Brunello was fabulous. The Catfish Francese is to die for; tender, flakey, and lightly acidic ... OMGOODNESS. we've had mixed experiences with the pizza but the flavors have kept us trying more and more options. CML is a jewel in Hanover that I hope never closes. read more

We recently moved to Hanover so we are still getting familiar with the restaurants in this area. The New York style pizza truly reminded us of something you'd get in NY. It was delicious! Many places come and go, Cantina Mama Lucia is not one of them. I have eaten here for over 15 years. Their pizza is amazing and so are their pastas. The chicken cacciatore is usually my go to. I came with my kids and their dad on a Thursday night. My son had the shrimp parmigiana special, I had the shrimp Alfredo, their dad had the pepperoni and sausage calzone and my daughter had the kids ziti with meatballs. Our meals came with garlic bread. The portions are insane, you get what you pay for here and then some. We have enough for dinner again tonight. Everything tasted fantastic! I personally like a little more spice/flavor in my Alfredo but it was still very good and the shrimp was cooked well. There is a little room to the right of the register next to the main dining room and it's perfect for my loud kids so we don't disturb the other diners. It is also incredibly clean. The service has always been consistently good and I have never had a bad experience here. I absolutely recommend this place. read more

First, the food was delicious. I was blown away by the calamari in how soft it was. AND the sauce for it was made by the restaurant and didn't feel like a single drop of pre-made tomato sauce you would get at grocery stores. It had a hint of garlic and pieces of tomatos and i really appreciated the hint of the authenticity outside of normal marinara sauce you would get at other restaurants. Cute little place hidden away but very close to the Arundel mills mall. This is a great place to go when you are looking for good food minus the frills. We went on a Friday night and there wasn't a wait. The pasta is normally around $30 but big enough for two people (or save half for lunch the next day). I have been going to Mama's for over 35 years. Food is always great, no complaints there. However, ever since the new owners took over, I've noticed some things sliding. They've lost several dedicated workers for various reasons which is unfortunate. My main complaint right now is, for the past month, the main dining room area has been hot. I don't know if the new owners are trying to save minet, if tge A/C is on the fritz or what, but witg the weather weve been having, we shouldn't be sweating while eating. Either fix the A/C, or don't be cheap, and turn the temp down a few notches. We ended up eating in the smaller area which was cool. Great service and a great family friendly environment. Great location as it has the end unit of a strip mall and takes up a couple of spaces. I like that it's cafeteria style (without actually getting your food initially). We ordered our pizza and it was ready within 15-20 mins. We got the NY style but they also offer a Sicilian style along with other classic Italian dishes. A little on the higher side on the price but certainly worth it with the food and service. This unassuming place was right up my alley last night when I didn't want any fuss or pretense. Ordering was easy, after I determined what I wanted on the menu posted on the wall I'm advance of the register. I got a half Greek salad, and built my own pasta - linguine, Arrabiata sauce, and 3 meatballs. I was surprised by the $30+ price tag given the very fast food vibe of the place, but since a friend highly recommended it, I was like ok. We got napkins and silverware, then sat. Shortly our salads were brought out. My Greek salad was really good, I ate every bite. Just as I was wrapping up, a server brought our entrees. Overall, I felt the linguine and sauce were pretty good, but the meatballs were bland...so was the garlic bread (how do you mess that up?). But I could tell all the food was well prepared. And even though a good half of the meal was self-serve, the times when we were attended were good and discrete. I'd go back, but skip the meatballs. read more

Crust was crispy all throughout, good ratio of sauce & cheese, & the cheese was super stringy. Hooray for a post Covid lunch buffet! So many in the area have gone by the wayside and not returned, so I was thrilled to hear that Mamma Lucia might have one. I called on a weekday to check and their automated system told me the buffet menu that day: salad, pizza (cheese and pepperoni), garlic bread, cheese tortellini in rose sauce, and a pasta with sausage I can't remember the title of. You pay first at the register ($13.77 after tax, not including drink) then the buffet is right there. I didn't really have any interactions with the staff to report, but I tried the cheese pizza and the tortellini. Pizza was alright but the tortellini in rose sauce was quite tasty. read more

The inside of this place seems very traditional Italian. They seem to have quick service, cafeteria-style lunch option that converts to a sit down more upscale restaurant at night. We ordered to go and got the fried ravioli, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken fradiavolo. We ordered at the counter and paid and then sat down and waited for the food. Took about 20 minutes for our order to be completed. The portions were ok. I think the tomato sauce is a bit on the sour side for my liking. It just was kinda bland and I could care less for it. They gave us garlic bread which is standard. The fettuccine was super watery and didn't really taste like it had much cheese in it. Just like a watery, milky flavor. The pasta was also kinda chewy and had quite a bite to it. I would've liked it a bit more cooked. The ravioli was also not very crispy. It had a good amount of filling, but then again I just didn't really like the marinara sauce. The food just seemed pretty average and for the price it is not a great value.... Don't think I'd come again. It's not for me but maybe you'll like their sauce if you try it out. read more

I got catering through CML for a holiday party. I had the lasagna, chicken parm, meatballs, and the desert tray. Everything thing was excellent. The food was good and the price was fair. They were less expensive than other catering places and probaby just as good. I highly recommend this place.
