Ledos is my go to spot. I've been living in Upper Marlboro for 11 years, and I have visited this location more times than I can count. I have never ever been disappointed. I usually call my order in on my way home from work (typically a Friday). It normally takes anywhere from 20-25 for my order to be ready. In most instances, my food is ready by the time I get there. On the rare occasion, it's not ready, I usually only wait at the most 5-10 minutes. My food is always warm and friggin amazing!! I have had to pull back because I was literally going every Friday. You may say, "Well what's wrong with that?" My waistline!!! Lol. In all seriousness, Ledos is a special treat to myself. I no longer go every Friday. But, when I do make my way there, I am never disappointed. In the 11 years that I've been going to this location, I have seen some of the same faces behind the counter. That says a lot to me. There's such a high turnover rate in the fast food industry, and to see some of the same faces from when I first started makes me love this spot even more. I've visited other Ledos locations, but in my opinion, the Main Street location is the BEST. Hands down!! read more

Ledo Pizza, a Maryland tradition! The food at Ledo's is very good. This is by far the best pizza I have had yet in Maryland. I have had better pizzas in other areas (like Chicago and Michigan) but as far as Maryland goes, I only do Ledo's. Their pizza features a very thin crust, very good toppings, and a slightly sweet and very tasty sauce. The quality of their toppings are definitely a step above most pizza places I have tried. The pizza is a bit on the greasy side, but that usually comes with the territory when eating pizza. My favorite type of pizza to order is one with pepperoni, meatballs (they are crumbled, not whole), and mushrooms. The rest of the items on the menu are always very good as well. I love their spicy toasted ravioli appetizer. The lasagna is usually very good at Ledo also. They also make some good hot wings here too. They do not serve alcohol at this location and they do not offer delivery. My usual routine when picking up a pizza from the downtown Upper Marlboro location is to go inside and place my order in person (they say that walk in orders take precedence over call in orders) and then my wife and I will walk down Main Street (make a right when you exit the front door at Ledo's) a couple of blocks to the Judges Chambers bar/grill next to the court house and have a couple of drinks while we wait for our pizza. Ordered the Baby Spinach salad and added grilled chicken...ugh! The chicken was like rubber, completely not edible. Had to throw out all the chicken that I paid extra for. Very disappointed! :( Tried calling to tell them, no one answered the phone. read more

Food always consistent. Customer service is ok. Always receive what I ordered (when ordering takeout). We order takeout more than dining in.

We went in with our cheer team this past weekend and while I know they were not used to large numbers at once, and we were being overly patient and understanding...the wait staff was rude, unapologetic, and quite frankly looked like they hated their jobs. My son and his friends decided to patronize this location and they were treated like escaped convicts instead of 14 yr olds. I am appalled at the service and I am in need of the owner info for this location, because the experience was horrible and it screams to the treatment that some boys of color experience on a daily because of their complexion. I will not patronize this establishment again, but I will make folks aware of the despaired treatment experienced by 3 teen athletes of color at this location. read more

If the parking were better, I would give 4 stars. Have only been about 3-4 times over the course of several years but, I was satisfied each time. The pizza is delicious (real cheese), the topping sufficient and the Calzone, mmm-mmm. The employees were pleasant. Other than the parking, the only other drawback is the tight space if you want to dine in. read more

The good news is Ledo's freed me from making dinner after a long week. The bad news is the meal was convenient but not that good. First the good. Our Baby-Q Chicken pizza was good and the Buffalo Chicken fries are always a winner. Now for the bad. The Parmesan Chicken was NOT good. The sauce was too sweet and the use of dried oregano overpowered the dish. The spaghetti was overcooked and the chicken patty didn't taste like fresh, pounded chicken breast but rather something that comes frozen, pre-made in a package. I could have done better at home or at the grocery store. The turkey avocado sandwich was something I clearly could have made at home. I would stick to the pizza. read more

My boyfriend and I frequent this Ledos sometimes when we're hungry, but don't want to go far for a meal. Usually Ledos is OK, not at all superb, but ok...good enough to satisfy an appetite or taste anyway. This last time we went to Ledos IS the last time we will ever go to this Ledos or any other Ledos franchise for that matter!! After waiting the given 20 minute time frame we went to the restaurant to get our food which was STILL not yet ready. Which is normally ok we understand things happen so we waited another 10 minutes for our food. The environment was very unprofessional with the young chef making fun of customer requests transporting food back and forth joking saying to the cashier "is thiiiiiis enough sauce"...and the little Caucasian cashier with the bob hairstyle loudly cursing from the from back to the kitchen while there are customers in the restaurant then she has the audacity to smile and say "I'm sorry". No I'm sorry, I assumed this was a place of business! While waiting I realized that the price for my food was different from the price we saw when we ordered from their site! Us being good people we let it go again thinking things happen. (This should have been strike 3!) We get our food and get to the car when my boyfriend checks the bag and realizes we only have 1 garlic bread when we're suppose to have 2. Again no biggie, so I walk back to let the same bobbed cashier letting her know they forgot our other garlic bread. This woman looks at me with a damn puppy dog face and says "oooohh I'm sorry we actually ran out"........*crickets*......wtf?? So an Italian restaurant runs out of garlic bread and doesn't even give their customer the courtesy of informing them. So I was suppose to find out about my missing bread when I got all the way home??!?! Smh. So I proceed to ask are there any substitutes and she tells me no....then recalls and says "I can give you some bread sticks but it's gonna be a while" again wtf!?!?? I just waited an extra 10 minutes for my frikkin food to come out and now because of the incompetence of the staff of Ledos pizza im suppose to avail myself and wait MORE time for YOUR screw up!? NO! The chicken and broccoli Alfredo had ZERO flavor and now the morning after both me and my boyfriend are fighting for dibs on the toilet!!! Never again will I ever patronize this sad restaurant! First my sandwich that I asked for without cheese came out with cheese, then my boyfriends calzone was half burned so they didn't bring it out and told us they were going to remake it which was about 20 minutes later...will never go back. read more

Ledo Pizza in downtown Upper Marlboro is my favorite restaurant. They have the BEST!!! pizza ever. If you don't want pizza they have really great steak & cheese subs, lasagna and yummy salads. I dine at numerous other Ledos within the state of Maryland but this one is my favorite. This Ledo has been open for 19 years and is still owned by the original owners. They remodeled about a year and a half ago and it is really nice. They said they still have some work to do in their counter area. After talking to the servers and counter help on different occasions I have learned that many of their employees have worked there for years and some have even left and come back. It must be a good place to work I figure. The staff is always friendly and the restaurant just has that homey feeling. My food has always been great and sometimes I eat there or get take out 2 or 3 times a week. If you haven't given them a try you should, I'm sure it will be GREAT!!!!. read more

Usually I don't do reviews but a few days ago while in Ledos I overheard a conversation and then I witnessed a customer complain about that same conversation. Anyone who's been inside of this location knows how small it is so we're all pretty much within ear distance. The woman(Catherine L.) said she would write a review and she did however I figured she'd exaggerate because she did while complaining to the manager. The young waitress made a comment saying how pleasant her guests were that were leaving and how she enjoyed them. She said because of past experiences she could understand the stereotypes about black women because she's experienced it while serving. She then gave an example of a previous guest(who wasn't there) that was rude to her and didn't tip. Yes I guess I was eavesdropping as well because I found it interesting. It didn't mean she hates her own people. And it was sad that while attempting to give her apology she was given attitude and being told what she said by Ms. Catherine, who heard what she wanted to hear. Ledos is a great place to get pizza and this location may not be the fastest(hey it's pizza)but the food is always amazing. The cashiers and waitresses are always polite and so welcoming. read more
