It's a hole in the wall, but they make good food. "Good" meaning fattening, flavor-rich and large portions. They're obviously known for their marinara based products, so don't get their salad or something similar - stick to what they're good at. Stopped by this afternoon around 4:00ish . The place was busy with good music and good friendly vibe . I was immediately greeted by a woman , think she was the owner or manager and very nice and friendly . I ordered a large pizza w/ pepperoni and green peppers . It came out fairly quickly and I requested paper plates and napkins . They gave me a bag with everything we needed plus plastic utensils , hot pepper flakes and cheese . If you like Ledos Pizza your gonna LOVE this place ! We drove over by the lake and dug into that pie and it was delicious ! The sauce was really flavorful and tons of pepperoni and green peppers ! The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was the pie crust was just way too thin . When attempted to pick up a piece it was way too flabby and the cheese and toppings wanted to slide off . Picked up a pizza for takeout. There were no napkins or plastic knives/forks available. Tried to get the attention of the ladies behind the register to request them, but they were ignoring me. Got back to the car, opened the box, and the pizza was not pre-cut into pieces. How were we supposed to eat it? We had to tear pieces apart by our hands and got sauce all over ourselves and my car. First, the wait was only supposed to be 45 minutes. Got there early, they said the pizza was ready and they had set it out on tables in the dining area for people to come in and pick up. No names were on the boxes to identify the pizzas so people had to open the boxes to see if it was their pizza. I, personally, don't want someone else peeking into my box. Anyway, my pizzas weren't there because someone else had picked them up and took them. So had to wait another 30+ minutes for them to re-make them. One of the pizzas was the cauliflower crust with salami. It was supposed to be the small 8" pizza but this thing was minuscule (didn't even take up half the pizza box) and the crust was burnt. Took it back inside for a refund and heard the cook or manager yell that that's how the cauliflower pizza looks. I've ordered the cauliflower crust many times before from other locations and it never looked tiny and burnt. I wish I had snapped a picture for this post. Ordered my pizza at 6:35 by phone, arrived 45 minutes later to pick it up (7:20) as instructed, only to have to wait over an additional HOUR for my food to be ready. There were several other customers experiencing delayed wait times as well and everyone was extremely frustrated. Also, there were 20+ customers waiting in that small space. Though we had on masks it was entirely too crowded to be compliant with COVID-19 regulations. The wait wasn't even the worse part. They made my wings and others appetizers almost right away, well before everything else was ready. So they sat all that time while my pizza was being cooked. I got there, they showed me a pizza that I did not order, so I waited another 25 minutes before they figured out that they didn't actually make my pizza. First, and foremost I must say that this rating is based solely on the fact that I ordered a steak and cheese sub as I always do from this location; and I get back to work after eating the first half the second half I notice a piece of hair in my food (appetite lost immediately). Then I decide to contact the restaurant well no manager available. So, my next step was to contact Ledo's via FB; as I have contacted Chipotle with a complaint via FB and it was handled with the utmost customer service. Chipotle's response time and just the whole way they go about things is def. praise worthy. Anyway, I commented on their FB to let them know what had occured assuming I would receive a typically response like Chipotle does (gift certificate for my next meal, or a complete refund something along those lines). Needless to say, I get a response, my notification pops up and I click and it to my surprise was deleted! NOT ONLY THEIR RESPONSE BUT MY COMMENT AS WELL. Is that how Ledo's goes?! They don't address customer complaints or issues HMPH most especially when I tried to call the location and was told management was unavailable?! This is UNACCEPTABLE !! I believe that the best pizza in Maryland that I have tried is Ledo pizza. It is made fresh to order and the staff shows you the pizza before giving it to you for your seal of approval. Though the crust is sometimes too soft for my liking (it's like a thin crust pizza), the sauce is wonderful and the toppings are super fresh and delicious (best pepperoni you'll ever have!) The other items on the menu are great too, (spicy toasted ravioli... yummm....) but you can't pass up getting the pizza! As far as the "downtown" Upper Marlboro location on Main Street, it is a little too hidden with just a sign outside that reads "Pizza" and nothing else. Some of the employees that I often am serviced by are a little on the rude side and answer the phone in the same way. However, if you want great pizza in the Upper Marlboro area and are willing to drive for it (they do not deliver), I would highly recommend Ledo's! read more

The waitress Brittany came to serve me when she looked at me she immediately went back inside a few minutes later the manager Cindy came to take my order. Cindy is ALWAYS pleasant when a few of my co workers and I come for lunch. That isn't my problem the issue was why did Come to serve me and then got someone else to serve me? Another woman came and sat at the table to my left and Brittany IMMEDIATELY came to serve that customer. When Brittany would walk by me She would give me this nasty look for absolutely NO REASON at all. I said and did absolutely nothing to her. Was it because of my race that she treated me this way? Ive lived near this LEDOS fit the past 20 years and the customer service hasn't gotten any better. It kinda noisey when I was playing my order but that's OK. It was busy. But I kept telling the little girl I placed my order with I couldn't hear her. She never raised her voice. I had to lean over the counter and get in her face to hear what she was saying with this I could care less look on her face. The only reason I do go is when Jonathan is cooking what I want to order. This dude I cook his you know what off!!! Really!!! If he ain't working I'm not going. If he ain't cooking it I ain't ordering it. This guy cares about the quality of what you get more than anyone in the store. The problem is once you get bad customer service it really doesn't matter how good the food is. Stopped at this place with my sister in early September for spaghetti. The spaghetti was passable, but nothing special. Having, over many years, become accustomed to terrible customer service, I've come to accept it and now even know how to work with it, most of the time. That may be the key to all the negative reviews about bad service at this place. In the Sept case, we had a young waitress who was fun to work with. Another time, whilst at a noontime break from jury duty, I had to get something quick and, working politely with the somewhat frazzled staff, was actually able to accomplish it. The steak sandwich was one of the best I've had, on a par with Jerry's bill-of-fare. I guess it all comes down, unfortunately, to knowing how to turn around what would otherwise be terrible customer service. It only took me about 40 years to figure it out, and even then there's times when it's still totally hopeless, beyond salvage, as might have been the case with some of these other reviewers. read more

I loved the food here but unfortunately my experience was ruined by the horrible treatment of two young workers. It was a Wednesday night and apparently a pizza had been lost. amongst the confusion the manager, a short white woman came out and screamed at the two young girls while they had nothing but respectful tones. Another man who saw the incident told the girls that they were right in the situation and the manager was wrong. The girls had told the man that this was not the first time that their manager had used that tone of voice with them. This visit was a waste of time and larceny. It started when the waitresses gave us the option to stay or leave because it would take 45-60 minutes for pizza in a pizza Resturant! They were out of everything and she seemed to be proud of this. She was much too familiar. This seems to happen when the establishment serve a lot of black people. As a black Resturant goer I prefer it formal and professional. The lasagna was not fresh and consisted of mostly sauce. A step above Chef Boyardee and below Stouffers. I was in the Upper Marlboro area and decided to stop at the 14611 Main Street location for lunch. While waiting on my order I overheard the waitress (Anna) speaking with a caucasian "Front Line" worker, and the conversation was as follows. "That's why I don't like "Black People"! It had something to do with a "tip" she didn't get from her customer. It saddens me that a "Black Person", waitress would speak down about her own race to a caucasian woman when all that's laboring in that restaurant are us! This woman will "NEVER" be accepted into their cycle no matter what she does against her own culture.. I complained to the Head waitress (Manager) who spoke with "Anna". It was also brought to another caucasian "Male's" attention who thought it was amusing to hear, he laughed. After the talk with her supervisor, Anna attempt to cover herself with this apology, ?"I want to apologize, I'm sorry you heard me talking to my co-worker. I simply stopped her and informed her that I did not want to hear it.
