This is my second time going to this laundromat. We only do laundry here when we have to wash our dog stuff or big blankets. The first time we got hustle so bad by one of the lady working here. We didn't know and we gave her cash ($18 to help us do laundry) so this time around we made sure to get a card. We returned because the location is clean and the machines look new. My dryer broke, so I brought my damp clothes here to dry. I loaded money on a card when I got there, but every time I tried to use thay card on any machine, I either gor an error message or nothing happened. I then tried to ask the woman at the counter for help -- however, she walked up while talking on the phone, didn't even look at me, and continued talking without even acknowledging me. I ended up throwing my card on the ground and storming out, and went somewhere else. It's a laundromat yea ok. It's large and clean though. Go at closing and you'll have the cleaning lady upset at you for walking on floors she already cleaned (even though they're still open) but that's not really a problem. You buy a card, credit card size for a couple bucks and then add cash in the machine so I liked that-I don't think it gives you left over money back though. I'm not 100 on that. I'll go back so it doesn't matter to me. It's nice drive up parking so that's something to consider - who wants to drag laundry carts across broken and rough parking lots. This place is literally the worst! Their machine washed one of my loads, but another machine didn't even wash the second. I came back after 30 minutes and my clothes were still dirty and not even wet. The lady refused to give me my money back for it. She tried blaming me for putting too much clothes but it wasn't even very full. I even asked a couple other customers if I put too much and they said I didn't. Terrible service here. I had never needed to use a laundromat until recently. I had no idea that there would be such a big difference between places. Lees is about the 5 one I've tried and hands down the best of them I've tried. They are very clean!! The on-site attendant was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. At a few of the other places the attendant made me feel like I was doing something wrong. Not at Lees. They made sure I was good and moved on. They also had plenty of machines. I went midday, midweek and thought it would be crowded. There where a lot of people there but it was far from crowded. I highly recommend this laundromat especially for those not familiar with laundromats!!!! read more

CASH ONLY Definitely does not accept cards. So far I have found only Pruneridge Laundromat accepts credit/debit cards AT the machine. PL is open 24 hours so I suggest you give them a try if you want both value and convenience. But I happen to be in Lee's neighborhood today so here It is; Standard laundromat, no frills. Machines/aisles are not labeled so you search around for the size of equipment you need. Have to buy a machine card for $1 and then re-insert this card to add value for both washer and dryer usage. There is a cashier space selling detergents and etc. but Dollar Tree is less than 2 miles away for a fraction of the cost (say 1/5 or 1/6 the price, seriously). May possibly return if in the area but could easily go elsewhere and feel nothing for this place. lol read more

We had a very bad experience, before 10 pm me, and my sons went there for the first time, the Google Maps details hours business is every day 7 am-11 pm. The old lady caretaker pushed me while approaching the entrance and she pointed to the time posted on the wall that the last wash is 10 pm. The old lady was so rude and unprofessional. read more

One of the worst laundromat in this area. This place has rats and cockroaches. You will see rat poop all over the folding tables and dead cockroaches if you come right when they open, sometimes you see live ones. Most the customers here are worst kind of people. Theres people saving dryers and tables when they're not using them nor even close to using it. In the picture you'll see all the dryers that are saved in advance by other people. They put napkins and towels as a way to show people they're going to use it. The ones with white towels is reserved by a lady who is a friend with the workers and they allow her to do this time after time. Many people have complained and gotten into arguments over this and still nothing has been done. In the picture, 80% of the dryers are reserved before any clothes even needs drying. read more

The on-site lady was very unhelpful and tried to tell me I shouldn't have walked away and instead should have stood there and monitored the dyer to see if it worked? Really? How about reimbursement and an apology. She uses her lack of English as an excuse to be rude. I recommend you go elsewhere for decent service. read more

If it's your first time then it will probably be your last because first of all they make you buy a card for a dollar so you can use for their washing machine and dryer. Next problem I had was their dryer not drying my clothes. Also, you have money on their card you can't get money back once you put money in their card. My biggest issue is the fact that they will charge you more depending on the size of the dryer like a 4 load is 50cents, 5 load dryer is 85cents, and etc... I hope they fix the pricing read more

Okay first off let me say that this lee laundromat has many locations around San jose but for some reason this specific location in San Jose East is the only one that has the laundromat card! I've went to the one close to senter Rd and they were only coin operated ones which was really disappointing. I literally had to leave and go to a whole different location. Next the washers and dryers are pretty decent they get the job done. Depending on how many loads I have my stay is no longer then an hour 30 minutes to wash and 30 minutes to dry. The trick is to use a dryer that's just finished drying clothes. That'll help your clothes to dry way faster. read more

I recently moved to Tully for temporary stay for the meantime. I'm so used to my old laundry mat , but I always pass this laundry mat and so I gave it a try. So high tech I tell you that. This laundry mat does not use coins. You need to purchase a card from their machine and than you add your money dollars from $1-any amount you want in that card. This card is reusable at anytime you want to come back to do laundry. At first I felt it was stupid, but then I realized it's better this way BECAUSE it's more safer where you don't need to dig through your purse and wallet to get coins or cash. Their machines are a bit pricey, but their washer machines are big. Their machines priced vary from how many loads you have and what you will use. I recommend you don't use the extra large dryers for little bit of clothes it's $.95 for 10min dry and the rest are $.40 for 10min dry. read more
