I have been doing my nails for decades. I can honestly say this was the WORST experience by far !!!!! The worker literally was so rude and more important terrible terrible service !!!! I needed to find a new nail place since my old one messed up my nails so bad I finally decided to quit going. I decided I was in the Grove area and would check this place out. I typically would have acrylic overlay or dip done, but thought I'd try the Builder gel this time around. The nail tech did a great job and it lasted for 4-5 weeks without issues aside from the normal growth. I went back to have it done again since it was such a good experience. I do recommend this place for if you are wanting builder gel done. They don't have as many nail color choices as others, so that is a negative. I also got a pedicure last time I was there, but it was lacking. The massage and hot stone portion was not very strong so I didn't get that extra feel of relaxation and muscle release I would prefer. read more

I was greeted very professionally and was able to walk in with no wait. I got the detox pedicure and I was surprised how detailed the nail tech was. Unfortunately I had a bad experience. If I show a photo of my desired nails, shape -- coffin -- and length and you don't explain that you can't do that, then I expect to see what I showed you in the photo! Instead of the nail technician simply explaining she couldn't do my nails the way I wanted -- I would've never got them done. Instead of leaving unhappy and paying for a junk job. I came in with the intent of getting gel acrylic and she pushed and said "get dip im good at it" so I said "okay" because I've had dip with tips before and liked my result still in the past. Skipping ahead -- She constantly would "ugh" at herself every mess up she made. She kept explaining "oh you want long nails, dip and an ombré.. very time consuming" which made me feel uncomfortable and irritated.. (it was also my first time getting my nails done in a year since having a baby so I just wanted something nice before my vacation.) My nails were still being done 30 mins after close -- got there at 5:00 for a 25 Min. Pedi. Place closed at 7:00. 7:30 and I couldn't even wait for my nails to dry. I just left unhappy and dissatisfied. She could tell on my face I wasn't happy but I wasn't going to throw a fit. I didn't have time to my nails re-done since they were closed so I'll be getting them done in new york right after my flight early in the am. :( I don't recommend going here at all! Terrible Customer Service! The lady took chunks of skin off my daughter's big toes. She cut her toenails extremely short. My daughter got her nails done for prom and they look like an alien shaped them. They are shaped all weird. When i spoke to Tony on the phone he asked that my daughter come back in so he can look at them. I sent her back and he never looked at her but they did try to charge for a manicure to fix her nails. This review is based on the poor and unprofessional behavior of Sammy who is the manager and the owner of the place. My mom and I have been going there for almost two years. I have also brought in other customers. This week, I had an appointment for a pedicure which I made about a week ago with Wendy. On the day of the appointment, I called to confirm it. I spoke with Sammy who assured me that the set time was still good and even tried to get me to go there earlier. A few minutes after I arrived for the appointment, I was told by Wendy that she was "very" behind and would not be able to do my pedicure. The manager knows everyone's schedule and is in everyone's business which means that she knew what was going on. I received no apology from her for wasting my time. To make matters worse, the next day I tried calling to make an appointment for my manicure which started to look bad after having it done there less than three weeks ago, but Sammy apparently was too busy to answer the phone which she has never had a problem doing while working on my nails. The way the owner acted was very unprofessional and blatantly rude. TWO THUMBS DOWN!!! read more

I spent a part of my Sunday here relaxing as I was pampered to a wonderful pedicure. I have tried almost every nail place in the area, and I have found this now to be my new favorite. This place is nice, modern, clean, and very easy going. The people working here are not salesy and pushy, and they let you just enjoy yourself. The price was great at $22 and I did not feel like I missed anything by usually getting a more expensive pedicure. This place is located in the strip mall area across from Petsmart in the Grove. This place, as well as the Wesley Chamber of Commerce and a small boutique are the only stores in the area. I wish there to be more in the future. The parking is fine and pretty convenient if it is raining. I will definitely be back here. read more

Lee used to be my favorite nail spa in the area. I came regularly for about a year before moving out of town for work. I decided to stop in while back in the area. Things have changed. 1) My pedicure was a mess. The polish literally dried lumpy and wasn't even smooth. I could've done it myself. 2) THEY RUINED MY EYEBROWS. I asked the tech to clean up my natural arch and she took off so much that I left crying. Was too busy freaking out about eyebrows to address the first point. I hadn't had a pedicure in over a year. In August I had back surgery and had been dealing with bilateral footdrop with accompanying parasthesia in both feet. I was curious to see if my feet would tolerate a deluxe pedicure and I'm happy to report that Susan did a wonderful job! The paragon wax was a nice touch! And the glass of Chardonnay! Sitting next to my wife and having tandem pedicures is a luxury we've enjoyed indulging. BTW, Angela also expertly took care of Melody's feet and legs. We'll be back. Love going to this place. I travel 20 minutes to get here, passing by SEVERAL others. Staff are always friendly and services are reasonably priced. Main selling point for me is cleanliness! I have been living in the area since May and have been searching for a great, consistent, nail spa. After what I witnessed today I will be a forever customer. Ive been to Lee Nail twice now and they have done a spectacular job. My nails look great and feel healthy. I love that they don't rush you along. Today I got a lavender pedicure and a gel manicure. A very rude, very opinionated lady was sitting next to me. I was embarrassed for her. Tim did a wonderful job of managing her even though she was relentless. At the end another lady took her for her nails and so cleverly explained to her how anxious she made Tim and attempted to give her some guidance on what I can only categorize as common decency. Went with my daughter to get pedicures and had a terrible experience. The woman doing my pedicure was cutting my nails without even asking if I wanted that. Then I told her square and she had my one toe nail crooked. When I told her she became offended and said let me finish. She definitely did not finish. Please save your money. So many things wrong. Terrible customer service. Nails all different sizes, gel is lumpy not fully covering nail and acrylics already coming apart from nail. I called and would have been more than happy to come in and get them redone unfortunately, the man on the receiving end was extremely rude and their response to my review was no different. I would never ask to get a service don't for free. But asking my money back to a very poor job is not unreasonable. Where I work you can bring back half eaten food and we still refund the money with a smile. It's a shame. Hopefully they improve their quality and customer service. read more

I walked in today and Hanna said it would be a fifteen minute wait. They wrapped my nails to begin soaking off the powder polish. I waited one hour before they started my manicure. Not one word was spoken to me. I would have walked out but my nails were in foil so I was stuck. The absolute disregard for me (and there were others they did the same ) is inexcusable. I literally have gone there every two weeks for the past year, I always leave a 20 percent tip, but I will never go there again. It was so unorganized and completely unprofessional. But mostly, they do not care about the customer. They just lie so that you sit there and then they service you when someone is free. They lost a good customer today. read more
