Great first visit! This place was recommended to me by a neighbor. I was told to ask for Kim, but she was on vacation, so I made an appointment with whoever I could get in with, and was not disappointed! I did not catch the name of the tech who did my nails, but she did a good job. I believe Lynn was the tech who did my pedicure. It was excellent! There was no pedicure menu, you get what you get. They also didn't ask me to choose a color when I walked in. They brought a small portfolio of color selections to me at my chair, which was different. I liked that it was easy for the pedicurist to match the dipping powder color I had selected in regular polish. The biggest surprise was at checkout. Very good prices! I paid $40 more two weeks ago for the exact same thing I got today at a loud, hectic salon in Richardson, and service was not as good. I am impressed, and will be back. read more

I have been on the hunt for a new nail place ever since my nail lady moved back to Vietnam. Well..... I found it!! This place is wonderful. It was very clean and very nice with a large selection of colors to choose from. I will be honest I wasn't happy with the lady who started doing my nails.. I could just get a sense she was nervous during the removal process so I was worried she might not be that great when it came to the actual nail application. So I decided to just get a manicure. Well another technician saw/heard this and came over and she said she would do my nails ans they would be beautiful! Well she was not lying!! My nails were done perfectly. And you guys!!! The price!!!! Omg!!! 28$$$$$!!!!! The last time I paid $28 for nails was in high school! I figured it was a joke! I couldn't believe it! I gave Jan $40 which is what I thought they Nails would be anyways. Ok. Well long story short. go here and be happy. I'll be getting a pedicure the next time to see how those are. I never leave this salon dissatisfied, ever! The workers are super friendly and we all know, nail salons can be quite a hit or miss kind of deal when it comes to social customer service... I get my nails done by Nikki and she got my kind of style with cut and color down to the wire by the second visit. Just what I like! Also, what everyone usually cares about the most- the prices. I've been going to Lee Nails since high school, which has been over 10 years now (eek!). These ladies do a great job! Back in the day, I would get tips put on for the occasional school dance. Nowadays, I go for manicures and pedicures and I can attest that they do excellent work with both. These ladies are very courteous and efficient. I hardly ever book an appointment anymore unless I am hoping to get a specific manicurist (Marie is AMAZING by the way) and from my experience walk-ins are promptly assisted. As another reviewer pointed out, they do NOT accept credit cards so make sure you have either cash available or your checkbook handy - no pun intended. read more

I had a really good experience here. I had a job interview scheduled at the last minute, and it's always been my ritual to get a manicure the day before (I have a bad habit of biting my cuticles). Wendy did a great job! And while they did use stinky lotion (why can't nail salons have some without girly scents?), I was happy with the overall experience. First visit. I needed shellac removed and wanted it reapplied. I chose a color and waited. Once It was my turn, I joined a tech and she stated crazy scraping the shellac and dipping my fingers in remover. Some other employee walked by and scoffed at the color I'd chosen and said "You don't want French tips??" Well, kind of. I didn't know you could do that in shellac. There's no ATM here other than the gas station next door so bring cash for walk, like I did. The white tips look ok but there are white smears throug the clear part of the manicure on some nails. I'll probably try them again since it was relly affordable. read more

I wanted to like this place so badly. So badly that I gave it FOUR tries. They are conveniently located for me and there prices are good. My dip nails have cracked within the week each time. They also pressure me to get tips each time, even though I continuously tell them I don't like long nails. I did get a gel pedicure there once and it was actually a great pedicure. I love to try new places for pedicures when I visit other states. This place was wonderful! From the moment I walked in without an appointment, the staff were warm and welcoming. Eventhough there were several patrons in the establishment, they were able to get me in immediately. This had to be one of the best pedicures I have ever had. In addition to the basic spa chair pedicure this also included a sea salt peppermint scrub treatment and a hot rock massage. The nail technician was so sweet. She demonstrated lovely chairside manners, inquiring on the temperature of the water, the pressure of the massage and all the little extras such as the extra callous treatment. Plus their prices are terrific. I typically pay $10 - $20 more for the basic spa pedicure in Tucson. The next time I am back in Richardson, I'll be sure to schedule an appointment for another pedicure at this location! read more

I have to say that Lee Nails does an excellent job with manicures and pedicures. It is very clean and the service is excellent. I have had manicures and pedicures at some of the area's spas (e.g., Stoneleigh, Elizabeth Arden, Spa at Stonebriar), the atmosphere at Lee Nails is not a spa however, my manis and pedis turn out just as good if not better in some cases. I typically make my appointments with Kim. It is best to go during the week because they can spend more time with you. I do not usually feel I am in a rush but during peak times, it is difficult to give the save level of service. BTW, Melao is wonderful for eyebrows. read more

The ladies here are always nice & give a decent pedicure, but the real reason that I come here is because of Myloc. Hands down she is the BEST eyebrow waxer that I've come across. She's a master at what she does, she's quick, and she only charges $8 for your brows. She seems to be really busy on Thursdays & Fridays, but I usually only wait 2-3 minutes on a Monday or Tuesday. Side note - my mom has been getting her nails done by Tina for at least 5-6 years. They always look nice & my mom never complains about them. A friend and I went here after a recommendation from a mutual friend and after reading the reviews on yelp. Overall the service was ok, the people were nice, but the polish job left a bit to be desired. The price wasn't cheap, and even though I called ahead and made an appointment with them, I still felt rushed. We were there in the middle of the afternoon on a Friday and there were plenty of other chairs open. Maybe they were expecting a big rush at 5, but still I was hoping to pamper my friend and instead I just felt we were jostled. I went to Lee Nails for 26 1/2 years and that was at the end of a two year search after moving to the DFW area from Houston. Marie did my nails the whole time and she is awesome. Her shop and services continued to improve over the many years and they were good to begin with. I moved to the Seattle area in December 2020. So far I've been to 7 salons here and they have all been horrible. None of them have customer service or the skills to be doing nails. All the ladies that work with Marie are great too and that includes her sister, Kim. I was so sad to be leaving because I knew Lee Nails would be impossible to replace. I really appreciated all the nice nails, friendliness and excellent Covid cleanliness. If anyone doubts this review then come to WA..a beautiful place but in the dark ages when it comes to nail salons. I went here on two separate occasions, a week from each other. The first visit I requested a gel manicure, and I informed the nail tech it was my first time getting a gel manicure and that I did not want my cuticles cut. She was extremely rough with my nails and I ended up bleeding on both of my pinkies, yet she saw it and barely acknowledged it. Overall, pretty bad experience. I came a second time since this gel manicure barely lasted 5 days and two of my nails had aleady started to chip. The same nail tech started working on my nails and I needed a pedicure so I decided to just do it at this place. Well, that turned out to be a BIG mistake. In the middle of my pedicure, the tech went to go work on someone else and a guy came in to finish it. Not only did they not properly cut my nails, but the hot stone he used on my leg burned me and left a scar the next day. Absolutely horrific experience, I'm surprised they are even in business! read more
