I have had both good and bad service here. Actually stopped going for over a year due to the previous experience. Nail tech was literally about to drill my nail completely off my hand for the 3rd time when I about slapped the snot out of her. She got mad at me for demanding someone that knew what the heck they were doing so I could finish and leave. Well, I broke 2 nails on vacation and my salon was closed, so...I said let's see. Can't be THAT bad again after a year right? I was wrong. Dude made me actually bleed 2ce!!! I will say that the nails do look good under the bandaids !! SMH. Never again. Worst pedicure ever...while trying to remove a callous (i paid extra for) she cut off good skin near it and missed the callous. I told her that hurt. She did not say anything. Well... my visit here was absolutely terrible. A friend of mine and me went to get pedicures and fills around 4pm. They close at 6pm and said they weren't busy at all. It took them an hour to do the mid level pedicure and gel polish. We then got over to the nail part of the trip around 5:30pm. Vivian seemed irritated she had to take another client so close to closing. The nails came out absolutely atrocious. I have overlay acrylic on the cuticle, dents in a few of the nails, a couple of pointy bumps in one, the gel cracked on my thumb instantly and the two fixes she did was crooked and you can see the white hardline cut off under the pink that was supposed to be ombre. I told her I was upset with them and she explained that was the best she could do and wouldn't be trying to fix them. She made me pay and I left a tip because one I work in the service industry and two I felt bad for the guy who did my pedicure. My friend just got a fill with gel polish and within the next day it was chipping and whole nails were peeling off. We called and they said they would fix but after some consideration we decided against wasting more of our time there. We go in and explain to him we would just like a refund because the poor job they'd done. Only for the nails not the pedicures. He gets an attitude and tells me "you walked out and paid" and I told him I expressed my concerns and she rushed me out the door and said she wasn't doing anything else because they were past closed. The only reason this isn't a 1 star review is because the woman that finished my service was nice and did the best she could to fix the mess made of my full set by the tech I started with. Avoid the man the the sleeve of tattoos and the black hair with gray on the sides. He was so rude and unprofessional, and was being super rough with me after I mentioned I'd like my nails a bit shorter. He then took almost NO length off leaving my nails super long, and kept them square after I asked for coffin. When I told him I'd like them a bit shorter and more narrow on the sides he huffed and then harshly drilled all the length of my nails then told me he couldn't do coffin because they were too short and that I was going to be charged extra for the sides to be narrowed into the coffin shape I told him I wanted at the beginning, and then berated me saying his job would be much easier if I'd brought a reference photo. I didn't think I'd need one, as I wanted medium length coffin nails and already knew the color I wanted with no designs. After I was made to feel uncomfortable I told him I think it would be best if maybe someone else finished up my set, and he threw my hands back at me and shooed me away from his station. The woman that finished up my set was very apologetic and helped me to the best of her abilities. I left with not what I wanted, but she did make them look very nice. read more

I've been going to Lee Spa Nails for a couple years now. They are clean, nice, and accommodating. They pretty much do it all there. I've had several different ladies do both my nails and pedicure. Each one has their own style and specialty. Lucy does terrific artwork. June is beyond sweet and gives great pedicures. Jenny is my absolute go-to person. She is not only friendly, she is willing to attempt anything I bring to her and also let me know "that isn't going to look right". I'm SUPER picky about the thickness and shape of my nails and she has a natural knack for making them look natural! She also never cuts my skin beside my nails as she does the accrylic and shapes them with the drill bit. Consistently a wonderful set of nails and pedicure to match. For budget reasons I need to stop going but not having the relaxation and being taken care of the way she does makes me keep going back. The price is also on point. I do the basic pedicure instead of the more specialized ones to save money. I always leave feeling great. The staff at the desk is always super nice to me too. Got a manicure and a pedicure. Guy who did my pedicure cut my cuticle. Then when he did polish it was too old and thick so he thinned it out twice. When the manicurist took over she also thinned the polish. The polished dried after sitting about 20 minutes . Then she sprayed something on it and it bubbled. Before I got home most of my fingers had ripples and looked odd. About 2 hours later I crossed my legs and brushed the toe that had the thick polish, it peeled off! I called and was told to come in tomorrow and they would fix it. When I went in they blamed me and wanted to put the same watered down polish on. They were extremely rude. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars honestly. I have been coming here for over a year to get pedicures, full set with gel or just gel manicures. I have loved my experiences, until my past two visits. Last visit, the gentleman that they put me with acted like he had absolutely no idea what he was doing putting on my full set. He kept attaching the nail and ripping it off. Then, he would not cut them to the length I asked. I had to ask three separate times. The lady beside him asked me to get up and wait while they are giggling. I get up and wait until someone new sits be at their booth. He then rushed to finish. I was left with crooked nails that were all different lengths. My most recent visit has officially made me decide to never go back. I go in today and am not even acknowledged as I walk in. I sign in and go to pick a color before someone decides to say hello. I then get sat with a new technician. Although he completed my nails and they look fine, he was incredibly rough and burned/cut me numerous times! I went to check out and it's normally $22 for my fill in with gel polish. But today it was $28. I paid $32 for my full set a week and a half ago. So it's $4 less for a fill in?! They majorly up charge and the prices are NEVER the same. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go where you aren't ripped off and treated poorly. read more

23DEC19 Stopped by for a pedicure about 11:50 a.m.. I had Hon for the pedi, good job, not very talkative though & a bit light on the massage, but otherwise quite good, about 40 minutes altogether, only an hour exposure to the acetone fumes. The Salon was pretty busy, but I only waited 20 minutes, exactly what the greeter predicted. It's about twice as big as Tips & Toes inside, & perhaps a bit less clean-appearing & chairs a bit worn, but their work practices seem good. read more

I have never been to such a horrible nail salon in my life. The lady who I think is the owner who sits on the right side was fixing my nail. I asked her one questions and she started yelling at me saying I'm too picky. I have never been there in my life. She started screaming at me in front of all her customers telling me to never come back. I said I will leave now and then she made me still finish my nail. She was being so rough with my nail made my skin peel. Then she started calling me bad names and told me that I look like a trash can. This is absolutely not acceptable customer service if you are having a bad day you should not be working and taking it out on customers and humiliating them in front of other customers. I downloaded this app for the purpose of leaving a review at this spa. I went into this spa on 29 December 2021 to get a mani(gel with letters as a design)and pedi(regular). During my visit the nail tech who performed the pedicure was really nice, gentle, and very friendly. The issue came in when I moved over to the nail tech who performed my manicure. The entire experience with this nail tech was off putting. She pulled and yanked on my hands, and was not gentle whatsoever. She did not communicate that she needed me to move my hands a certain way and did not care about my experience there. When I told her that I wanted letters on my nails(which is what I told one of the other nail techs and they said it was fine) she instantly got annoyed and was going to paint my nails a solid color which is what I didn't ask for. And TO TOP IT ALL OFF, after I paid she sat there and watched me put the tip down. When I asked her if she was going to watch me. He said yes. I've never been more disappointed in a nail shop in my entire life. To the nail tech who performed my pedicure thank you. I went to Lee Spa against my better judgment, but I needed somewhere that was close as I was limited on time. I got a basic pedicure because again, I was limited on time. My nail tech started water, which was 100% hot water and burnt my foot when I put it in the water. When I shouted, she added some cool water. She asked if I wanted gel, and I said no, regular is fine. She told me the regular polish would come right off. I have gotten regular polish every 2 weeks for the past 10 years, so I said regular is fine. She seemed mad. I told her I wanted french, and she again, recommended gel. I said no, again. She said gel requires no dry time. I am aware, as I always get gel on my nails. Again, I said no. I asked her to cut down my nails, and she said no, she couldnt do french on shorter nails. I get them like this every time, so I know they can, but I said whatever. Toward the end, she called another lady over and said something I couldnt understand, but the other lady leaned over, looked at my toes, laughed, and said something I couldnt understand. My nail tech laughed and said, "just do a good job, huh? she no want gel". How rude to talk about someone like that, right in front of them. Then, she only did one clear coat and no pink or no top coat, so ya now this is going to come right off, not because I didnt get gel but because she didnt apply a couple coats.When I paid, she looked mad I didnt tip her... after all that... never again read more

Used to come here for years but noticed their atuttudie are becoming increasingly nasty used to see only phoung and lee but sometimes they are busy and the owner is an ass the female with short bob cut and she always been that way but recently i have vowed never to come back. i drive from the north side 30min to them but never again there is a new salon right off of I4 that is much nicer and friendlier and they sever beverages and treat you like you matter. not like lee's anymore and the same ladies that introduce me there no longer go anymore because of how they dont value your business or experience. My 1st advice to you is don't go here. I used to go and they were ok, but started noticing they are rushing you in and out and doing a horrible job. My story is I went just for a mani/pedi, which is posted on their wall at the price of $39.00. I picked my color of pumpkin and got the pedicure 1st. Then just a manicure and paint. While she was doing my nails I wasn't paying attention because I had severe coughing spells. I get home to find out my nails were red, not the color I chose, and all my nails were jagged and rough on the tips. Then I check my toes and they were all messed up, didn't fix the one toe that gives me a problem. I returned the very next morning and explained everything, and they wanted me to pay another $39.00, just to change the red on my nails! They wouldn't fix what they screwed up that I wound up paying $60.00 for. Then couldn't explain why I had to pay so much more than the $39.00. I got a pedicure and tips done. My total was $83.00. This is crazy!! First of all I asked for a Relaxing Pedicure and he gave me the Standard Pedicure. (Which was not good either) He did not get all the dead skin off my heals and my toes. The polish is gloppy. My nails are a little bit better they are supposed to be rounded on the side and flat in the top and they are not. When I asked if I can use her nail file to fix it she said no, then said that she is not done with the filing. Then never fixed it. The underneath is rough. I told her that I wanted them shorter and she said that they would be filed shorter. (Which they are not). Overall for the price being charge a fee for the tips, then for the color, then for the gel top coat, then for the pedicure that I didn't ask for. This place is a place I would most likely not go back. I only went due to my current place being closed. Which would be the only reason to go back. Also the offer of a drink if you get a Pedicure is not factual!! I got a pedicure and acrylic tips and did not get offered anything. Being that Lee's was open until 5 PM on a Sunday, I was driven to give it a try; I love that I did. Worst pedicure experience I have ever had. Cindy was the height of rudeness, unprofessionalism, and carelessness. She was listening to music and tossing the instruments everywhere. Both my mom and I felt extremely rushed throughout our pedicures, like we were inconveniencing them by being there. And no, we did not walk in before closing--we had appointments well before the scheduled closing time. The behavior exhibited by the staff was inexcusable, and I am amazed that people who carry the attitude that Cindy did are able to get hired anywhere.
