I've been visiting this place periodically over the past 5 years, and they are always polite, efficient and do a wonderful job. I get a mani/pedi combo, and usually upgrade to the organic scrub, with gel nails. If you feel like talking, they will chat with you. If not they do their work quietly. I love that. Today I sat quietly, enjoying the peaceful tv channel with vacant beach scenes videos. I was so relaxed that I accidentally left my rings there, and they locked them up safely in a drawer until I got back over an hour later! Excellent service!! read more

I have to give Jimmy 5 stars!! I think I had the best manicure in 30 years of my life lol. I went to the salon because it's across from my job and I needed to desperately remove my acrylic nails. He did such a good job removing them and didn't hurt me at all. He also did such a great job with my cuticles. You wouldn't believe how many times I've been to a nail salon and they don't touch my cuticles. And I always leave angry. He took his time painting my nails and made sure there weren't any spots missing. Which also you'd be surprised , I swear some places paint your nails with their eyes closed. But my nails have never looked sooo perfect!! I give him a 10/10 highly recommend !!! read more

I've had wonderful service every time I've been there. Danny is the best. He fixed the bad job another guy did prior to him.

So I was talked into bowling with the rest of my management team for a little "togetherness outing." My method of bowling is 1. pick up 13 lbs. ball 2. insert fingers into holes at random 3. fling bowling ball in general direction of the arrows and pins and 4. break nails just as often as I get gutterballs. And indeed I had broken a number of nails to the point of uncomfortable bleeding. Using nail glue didn't seem to do any good and adding band aids to my finger tips didn't much good either. I might point out that I am not very tolerant of nail salons or beauty salons in general as I don't understand the need to apply fake nails on top of real ones or extensions or anything of the like. I will admit that the application of acrylic does come in handy when your nails have a huge crack in the middle and with every hand gesture, more blood seeps through. In comes Pro Nails with their quick service and without even batting an eye, the nice lady applied an super thin acrylic coating after seeing the condition my poor right hand was in. For $4, she fixed two nails and buffed the rest of my nails to match. How awesome is that? read more

Mani/Pedi was only $35, which is a great price considering Lakeland is somewhat of a small town. The service was fast and friendly. It's CASH ONLY but they let us know ahead of time. I had my nails done on Saturday. Today is Wednesday and they are still intact. Pretty amazing since I have been swimming every day since. My sister had acrylic nails with designs on each and although i don't recall the exact price, i'm sure it was less than $50. Her nails are still in great shape. Overall, a great nail salon! Had my first shellacking ever done here. It was an experience that involved a Dremmel, primer, lots of UV lighting, and an expert hand to apply all those coats of polish and clear coat. My toe nails are officially more durable than car paint during Florida's love bug season, so thank you Pro Nails for a lovely pedicure that will outlast the Cadillac. read more

Ugg! This place is horrible. I shouldn't have had to pay. This was my first time every getting my nails done and I thought I would be great....it wasn't. She kept smudging the nail polish, got it all over my hands, didn't really take any time preparing my nails, and the design on my nails were horrible. She let nail brush hair get into the polish and didn't bother to take it out. All in all my nails are crudely done and I won't let anyone see them. read more

I have been coming here for years without issue. Today I brought my 10 year old to have her nails painted. We decided on gel. Well shame on me I guess for not understanding when they said "is $25 ok?" they meant $25 for nails and $25 for toes. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE During the 4th of July week we were visiting family and I wanted to get a manicure and pedicure. My cousin has a place she liked but they were really busy so we decided to try this place going off of the reviews found on Yelp. BIG MISTAKE. We both sat down at the same time to start our pedicures. My cousin's nail person got started right away while I was waiting to see if the girl on the couch or the lady sweeping the floor was going to do my nails. About 7 - 10 minutes later the girl watching TV decided to mosey on over and get started. It all started as any other pedicure I've had but as time went on and the nail person was gossiping to my cousin's nail person and the conversation started to get heated and my pedicure experience began to go down hill. The more heated the conversation the less time spent on my pedicure. Initially she was not going to cut my nails until I asked. Then the file, cuticle cut, and scrub was just ok as she halfheartedly did the job. The massage/lotion part of the pedicure which is the part I always look forward to was overshadowed by the intense conversation and my muscles were only tickled for a short period of time. For once in my life I couldn't wait for this pedicure to be over. My cousin was able to go to the grocery store and buy a bag of ice by the time she had finished. On top of my experience my cousin's nail person used an electric grinder on her nails which she had never experienced and cut her cuticle that later bled. Also what we found odd, was that the lady next to us who seems to get her nails done at this place routinely was being treated as I was expecting to be treated, with courtesy and attentiveness. I heard ProNails is open on Sunday, and I only wanted a mani-pedi. Most everyone in the shop was nice EXCEPT for the older, OLDER lady who does not speak English very well. Instead of asking me to move my leg, she would slap my leg. Instead of asking me to turn off the massage chair, she slapped the chair and said Off! She also flung the price list in my lap, without explanation, I guess expecting me to pick extras...riiiiiight!
