I went up to the attic to investigate and found the water was splashing out of the pan onto my ceiling. I called Keith AC who sent a local guy by at the end of the day. I shut the unit down before the call. 97 outside that day. JT the tech showed up in the afternoon. Explains the unit needs to be centered in the pan. Two techs show up the next day. They investigate. I ask what they found. They said the unit was not in the pan properly and the water was allowed to escape. My secondary pan did not fill with water. The tech asked me if JT changed anything on the switch. I informed him JT said he wiped some stuff off the float. I told him JT blew the drain out from the top. I informed him I vacuumed the line from the bottom and cleared alot of clear junk. He had his assistant pour some cleaner down the p trap. I informed Eric that the installer had a terrible time getting it drain. Stay another hour trying to get water to drain. Eric agreed that he could understand why. The 40-foot drain was up and down and could not drain properly. After talking about the initial salesman saying he would recommend taking the drain out the east wall, which is under 10ft. Eric decided to take the drain out of the east wall adjacent to the drain for the secondary pain. Once that was completed the drain no longer dripped like before, it had a steady stream. Everyone was happy with the discharge, and we all agreed it should have been left the way it was just dripping. To shorten the story a bit, I called to get warranty repair. I was sent to John the foreman. He says he would send to the owner who will be back Monday. Waited til Wednesday, no calls so I called back. Later in afternoon, Matt the owner called back and says he saw the pictures and cannot know who has been in the attic since the install. I assured him no one went to the attic connected the brand-new unit to 25-year-old drain lines and rewired the cut off so the unit would not stop running when the pan filled with water. I asked him to talk to Eric. It is not an expensive repair, but to blatantly say I may have contributed to the failure is ridiculous. 1. The unit was NOT correctly placed in the pan. 2. The unit was connected to a 25-year-old drain line that was not to spec and was problematic with the old unit and I absolutely explained that to the installers as well as the 25-year-old refrigerant copper lines were used. (How long before they fail?) Same thermostat wire was used that was 25 years old as well. 3. The outside unit was placed on the existing 25 yr old slab that has sunken into the ground. The unit is not even. You can see that by eye. 4. The unit is less than 18 inches from the side of my house. 5. The cutoff was not wired correctly upon install, verified by the technician that rewired it. Yet the owner wants to say they will not cover repairs because they do not know if I have down anything in the meantime. Kieth air never called for a 1 yr checkup like they said was part of the deal. JT came by one time after the install because the outside unit was making noise. He tightened a few screws. You do not take a 25-year-old unit out of a house and put a brand-new unit in but keep all the plumbing from the old unit. Why would you? Save time or money? I am within my 24-month labor warranty. I cannot believe I am having to do this over what should have been a professional job. Looks like the owner trains his people to cut corners and mix words. I hope Matt Kieth calls back and owns up to the mistakes of his company. I really do.

Less than a year after the warranty expired it has stopped working. We found out pieces were put on wrong. And the entire job was not done correctly. Stay away from these people.

He diagnosed the problems for both appliances and gave me reasonable costs to repair. The surge blew out the control boards on both alliances, which is an expensive part to replace, so due to the costliness of the repairs, I decided to put that money toward new ones. Although he didn't make the repairs, Mike was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. I recommend him and will call him again if and when I need an appliance repairman. I would strongly suggest you not use this company for any type of ac/heat work. Especially not the…read moremaintenance plan they offer. I had a maintenance plan with Batchelor's for at least 4 years. I assumed that by having a maintenance contract that I did not have to worry about my unit as they were supposed to be the experts and I know very little about ac/heat units. I trusted them to do their job. Unfortunately, our coils in our unit were bad. They said they could replace them and gave me the cost. My unit was around 12 years old so I decided to go ahead and replace my entire unit at one time. The Sunday before they were supposed to install the unit, I thought I would clean all the dust out from under my unit. I open the door and my unit was leaning extremely bad and looked like it was going to fall through the wall. Batchelor's was just at my home the Thursday before this Sunday. I then looked under the unit. It was pouring water, the board that was holding the unit was soaked and rotten at the back side. How their service person did not see this I will never understand. My entire floor under the unit was rotten. I then went under my house and the wood under the house was rotten. This leak did not just happen in 3 days. I called them Monday to let them know what I found. They sent out a tech who took a look at it. Of course, they would not own up to it being their fault. They sent the claim to their insurance company. I called 3 other AC companies in town to inquire as to what their maintenance plan checked for. One thing all three told me was they check for leaks all around and under the units to prevent damage which apparently, Batchelor's did not. The leak had been going on for some time for my floor to be totally rotten. The water did run under the wall to my Kitchen floor too. I had to go ahead and correct and replace the rotten wood so the unit did not fall through my wall and cause more damage than I already had. It has been 5 weeks since Batchelor's was made aware of the issue and Batchelor's insurance company will not give me an answer if they will cover the damage or not. They are looking for a way out. I strongly suggest you look at other companies for your maintenance contract so you don't have to go through what I have gone through and am going through. If like me, you trust the experts in the field to let you know if your unit is not working properly then Batchelor's is not that company. I hope this information helps you make a better decision regarding your ac/heating needs. Just found out they are unwilling to pay for the issue my unit did to my floor from leaking Due to negligence on their part and not checking my unit properly. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
