I made a reservation here to take my sister for her birthday after seeing the pop-up on Instagram. Everything was so perfect! The decor was so well thought out, definitely gave a super cute brunch with the girls vibe. Our server was a really cute young girl that made us giggle at how "old" we've gotten as we had to sometimes just piece together what her phrases meant. The drinks were great, we had coffee espressos, one cinnamon, one white chocolate. The baked Brie wrapped in phyllo dough was so delicious! The customer service was ok and they do consistently remind you of the time limit while you're there (sorta takes away from the experience as I kept checking the time). We ended up ordering various items - little blue box and ornamint to drink - supreme, prosciutto, and the Yukon pizza + an avocado Cesar salad. I can say the salad was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed that; however, the pizzas lacked flavor. The pepperoni on the supreme was soooo salty - the rest of the pizzas were pretty much flavorless. All the staff were friendly and attentive, came in Sunday afternoon, so seating wasn't an issue at all. Ordered a butcher and California ranch salad to go with our Chambong's. The food came out lighting fast, and both were good. The Chambong was a fun and nostalgic experience for me. 10/10 recommend! My friends and I stopped in for a quick drink and surprisingly for a Saturday afternoon in downtown they were not busy. Upon walking in I was instantly impressed by the decorations. The space was so cute with a few photo op areas. We made our way to the bar and were greeted by Juan who hands down made our experience amazing. He was so funny and knowledgeable about the menu, he was a great time. They offer a really cheap mimosa special during brunch, but I opted for one of their cold pressed juices instead, The Starting Line. While I'm not a huge fan of beet, the way they were able to balance the strong flavor of beet was very impressive. My drink was very refreshing and I enjoyed every drop. Took us forever to flag down our server to get parking validated, and then ended up having to pay $15 for parking anyways - not sure if that was an issue with the validation or with the parking garage. We had two servers checking on us a little too frequently. They were kind and helpful, but it became a little distracting and it felt like we were being rushed. Hopefully it was just an honest mix-up with table assignments, as the restaurant wasn't very busy at this time. On the bright side, the drinks (we tried the martini flight) were adorable, and the tableside torching was a fun touch. For pizza, we ordered half prosciutto and half supreme and both were delicious, and I loved being able to do half portions to try more options. However the drinks are Really sweet so be aware if that's not your thing. We order several drinks and each one was a sugary overload. Service was OK, really our night was going good but was tarnished mid way through. We had order a couple of drinks of those drinks we had ordered the shots Peach Please with no problem. Then my daughter and her friend ordered one more round for them. The waitress sat them on the table and came back and said we need you to take those shots right now because people have been stealing our shot glasses. The host was very friendly and immediately greeted us. We sat at the bar. It took a couple of minutes for us to get a menu at the bar when we walked up. They had an event going on half of the bar and only one bartender, which was not ideal. It's definitely a smaller place but there was plenty of seating. I've been here twice and both times were pretty good as far as service, attentiveness and flavors associated with the items I indulged in. The first visit was for brunch and my daughter and I came with a guy she was going out with and he had friends who manage so we had a great red carpet experience. We sat at the bar and the bartender, Alex acted like he was annoyed that we were even there. After we ordered our drinks we asked him if he recommend any other bar we could go experience, he said 'why in the world would I go to another Christmas bar when I have to work here all night?' This time I went with a margherita pizza with spicy sausage and a side Caesar salad. The salad was just ok but the pizza was great especially for the price. I did the half portion with gluten free crust and it was just enough to fill my appetite. If I was really hungry I could go for a full pizza for sure.
