My pedicure was meticulously done! Meaning they looked amazing but it felt like it took an eternity. They were also about to check me out before I got my fill which was what I came in there for. The set was well done but how as a gel acrylic set did the polish start chipping off? Pricing was great only paid $85 for gel pedi and acrylic gel fill. Would I go back? No thank you. Went in for a gel nail fill in. Initial service was ok with the exception that I mentioned one nail was broken below the nail bed and asked that it be given special attention. Also asked for a specific design on display. They agreed. Once my nail were almost done I inquired about the design only to be told I got the wrong color for the design. I returned after about 3 days with a broken nail (my fault). The technician proceeded to apply a skinny pointed nail tip. I told her it was too small. She applied it anyway. I told her repeatedly it was too small. She either ignored me or didn't understand. She got another, more experienced technician to assist. She proceeded to file the mail even skinnier. This nail was looking markedly different from my others. I finally just had them cut the nail and let me go. I went to another salon. The technician applied an acrylic form and tip. This looked much better. Then a day or two later,the original broken nail broke again because it had not been repaired properly. Big surprise ... I don't care for this salon. I won't return. I've been coming here since they opened. The owner Lee is so nice I use to go to her at her previous location. This place is clean, and all the ladies are friendly and know what they are doing. They do all nails and have a variety of gel brands and colors. I travel from Rockville to get my nails done here and it's worth it as there are many places near me but this place is the best in town. read more

Didn't expect my first Yelp review to be a complaint, but I think the public needs to know about this incident. A technician at this salon attempted to remove an acrylic nail from my natural nail by prying the nail off of my natural nail without any use of acetone. This was very painful and resulted in my nail splitting. The technician did not apologize -- shockingly she instead said my nail was probably split beforehand (it was not) and that's why it split. Needless to say I left without finishing my manicure. I plan to avoid this salon at all costs and recommend others do as well. read more

I have taken some time to write my review because I did not want to bash or write my review from a place of upset or anger. I can honestly say that my visit at Leele's was the worst nail experience I have ever had. To pay for a service and having left with nothing I wanted and very unhappy with my nails, however I did pay full price as I was provided with the service and also because I had no time to get them done anywhere else. Most of the employees were friendly, Leele herself was very friendly but seemed to not care or be concerned with what was going on. It was very uncomfortable setting especially when trying to communicate my concerns during my nail process to my technician. She came off very gaslighting and trying to convince me I was wrong with what I wanted with my own nails. It was to the point where other employees came and surrounded us as some point after her and other employees were speaking in there own language, which is completely fine, I am not bothered but to be put on the spot after she was clearly upset was really uncomfortable. It may have been a case of this establishment having a bad, off or busy day, I don't know but it is very unfortunate that I had a miserable experience as a first time customer here and on top of that having walked out with very poor quality and horrible nails. I will saying the shaping itself was subpar but there were many edges that were left painful poking and horrible. I had to file some of the edges myself due to them having acrylic powder on my skin or the acrylic tip not covering my actual nail (nails not clipped before applying acrylics which I let slide) leaving a sharp edge painfully poking my skin. I can say I will never be coming here again, I honestly could not even be paid to come back after my experience. A waste of time and money from my own personal experience, like I said it may have just been a one time occurrence but it's was to the extent that I still got upset when looking at my nails, the poor quality and remembering the way I was treated. Even their newer nail techs like Isabel have become one of my favorites for her diligent work! Their shop is clean and they have excellent and attentive customer service. I really even hate putting negative reviews however I came in for a full in and two pedicures . I was uneasy about the service but the technician doing my toes was nice. Once I left and got home I realized how she filed my toes uneven and even did not tell me that my toenail was on the verge of chipping . Now I'm walking around with a chipped toenail afraid it will snag on something however have an important work event to attend in the next day. The toenail is chipped and so fragile to the point I should cut it down but it would be way too short. I was extremely upset once I got home. Although the nail tech was nice I also noticed spots on my fill in. She did a good job with the shape and designs however it wasn't the exact application process I was hoping for. I took my 70 year old Godmother there for a manicure. The lady who did her nails was very rude and unprofessional. My Godmother wanted 2 nails with a design. She said real rudely she did not do designs so I asked could someone else could give her design on JUST 2 fingers. She stated real rudely and harshly NO! The manager was no more help and the lady that could do 2 finger design for my 70 year old Godmother after she finished her client refused to do her 2 finger design also. It was my first and LAST time there. I was paying for 2 manicures $18 each so I don't know why we was treated like this. If you value your time I would advise not to book appointments with LeeLe. I schedule appointments with her through text where she tells me the time of my appointment, then when I show up she makes an excuse as to why even though I have an appointment I have to wait 2 hours to be serviced. she gaslights you instead of simply apologizing for the inconvenience on her behalf. I've spent hours waiting for her to do my service, mind you I always have a confirmed appointment with her I never just show up. Along with the price inconsistencies, which I never mind paying, however when my time is continuously being wasted every appointment and a simple apology is never given, it shows the lack of compassion to loyal clients.
