Great service. Burgers are among the best I've had. A bit expensive but I guess that's what prices are these days.

The drinks were delicious though and the food was also good. Next time I will check the schedule though if I want to talk to my friends.

I would like to thank to Yelp for this event and thanks to introduce me such a unique place!…read moreI really enjoy the place. I tried Baijiu Mango Margarita and Watermelon Candy! They both was very good match with my cocktail taste! I like the food too! Calamari, truffle fries, edamame, rolles, chicken tenders,... all was tasty. The tour about the how they make Vodka, gin, Baijiu process was pretty impressed. They make all these drinks right behind the bulilding... By the way the most unique and different thing for me was BAIJIU! This is the first time I heard and tast! It's strong and tasty. The an other most important thing was, I was the winner for the event! I won the bottle of Oversea Baijiu. Because of my video that I share at instagram I am glad Oversea Distillery and Bar only 10 minutes away from my house! BAIJIU: (pronounced bye-jyo) is a traditional, clear Chinese distilled spirit. Literally translating to "white liquor," it is typically distilled from fermented grains like sorghum, rice, or wheat and ranges from 35% to 60% ABV. As the world's most consumed spirit, it boasts a history spanning millennia How It's MadeUnlike most Western spirits, baijiu relies on qu, a unique starter culture of crushed grains packed with active molds and yeasts. This culture simultaneously converts grain starches into sugars and ferments those sugars into alcohol--a process called solid-state fermentation. The mash is then traditionally distilled in clay or stone pots. Just like wine or whiskey, baijiu isn't a single flavor. It is categorized into four primary styles, though many sub-varieties exist: Strong Aroma: Sweet and pungent with fruity and spicy notes (e.g., Wuliangye). Sauce Aroma: Complex and savory, often likened to soy sauce, fermented vegetables, or dark chocolate (e.g., Kweichow Moutai). Light Aroma: Crisp, clean, and floral, similar to sake or high-end vodka. Rice Aroma: Mild, slightly sweet, and floral, closely resembling other Asian grain spirits like shochu.

Great addition to the restaurant park in Columbia…read more We finally had a rare date night and decided to try this new spot. It was not crowded at 5pm so we were served very quickly. We enjoyed hot wings and bao buns as our appetizer and shared a black and blue burger for our meal. My dark and stormy was a great pick as well. Helpful attentive staff.

Oddly enough, it was pretty quiet, but they do have the games on for anyone looking for a low-key spot to watch. We were seated within 5 minutes, which I appreciated. Our server, Patrick, was... okay. Not terrible, but definitely felt new to serving. We didn't get the rundown of the daily specials (yet overheard them being given to the booth behind us), and a few small service details slipped through--but I'm giving him grace based on his newness. One thing I noticed from Yelp reviews is that bread is usually served automatically. We had to request it, especially after seeing tables seated after us get theirs first. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. We ordered several appetizers, and honestly, they were filling enough to be a full meal: * Ribs - Flavorful, tender, and genuinely falling off the bone. The portion sizes were a bit inconsistent--some pieces were cut shorter than others--but the texture was on point. I'd definitely return for these. * Brussels Sprouts - Patrick didn't mention they were shareable, which would've been helpful. I did like the flavor, but in hindsight I'm glad we pivoted to... * Crab Dip - This one missed for me. The flavor leaned more tuna-ish than crab-forward. Not my preference, but you may feel differently. * Shrimp in Spicy Butter - Definitely spicy, but somehow still flavorless. More like spicy water than a seasoned butter sauce. The one bonus? They were served piping hot--exactly how I like my food. * French Fries - Hand-cut and tasty. A solid win. Unfortunately, everything except the shrimp came out lukewarm, which took away from dishes that could've been great. Temperature matters! On the drink side, though? Hits all around. The fresh-pressed beet juice was fantastic, and the sweet tea was also on point. We skipped dessert only because we were full, but I'm already planning to come back specifically to try it--along with the ribs and fries again. Overall, I'm hoping this was just an off day. Elliott's Kitchen has potential, and I'd like to see it shine on the next visit

We got three pizzas to share the pepperoni, the saucy, and chicken bacon ranch. The pepperoni had such an awesome feature. The pepperonis were cooked into the crust, all along the outside nice and crispy. You know that perfect pepperoni that's cooked to the point where it turns into a pyramid. I guess more of an igloo? This was some absolutely delicious pizza. I would definitely drive down here just for this again. It's also an event space which seems like it would be pretty cool. The organization we were meeting with has held a couple young professionals events there. Not sure if it's attached to a brewery or it is a brewery? Seems like the perfect place for a 21+ event. I guess you could even throw a pizza party for the kids?

We ordered the In Crust We Trust pizza. If I'm being honest, as someone who used to prepare deep dish pizzas, I was a little underwhelmed that I paid $24 for a small pizza. But the dough was deliciously springy like a focaccia, and the toppings worked well without making a soggy pizza! The service was good, straightforward and to the point :) with our toddler near the end of his rope for the evening, we ordered our food to go and it was ready in about 15-20 minutes. We added the cannoli bouquet and it was soooo good

The interior is beautifully decorated, golds and greens with gorgeous lighting & a fireplace. We were greeted by Laurie who seemed to be both host and server! She was really sweet and super personable. The food was amazing. I loved my chicken Marsala, the chicken was cooked perfectly. The fries were delicious, the extra crispy kind that you can't find many places! The cream of crab was so good, I don't like when there are chunks of onion in it and this one was smooth and thick. The steak was awesome and so was the whipped feta! The wine flight was a nice touch, they have a ton of wines and cocktails for everyone else (also a full bar)! For my birthday the chef prepared a berry sorbet with candles! It was the best sorbet I've ever tasted and I wish I could have more now! The prices were very reasonable and they do happy hours all day on certain weekdays! We will for sure be back!

Take out is quite easy with food awaiting at the greeting desk. The crab dip is unique and quite delish. Served with garlic knots, the crab dip is baked together in a cast iron skillet and finished with melted parmesan. I've had several dishes which are delightful. The Cajun Chicken & Shrimp Pasta is a wonderful combo of blackened chicken and shrimp, pasta and Nawlins cream sauce. For more NOLA yummies, the Louisiana Red Jambalaya is sautéed chicken and shrimp with Andouille sausage and jasmine rice. The Shrimp and Grits envelope andouille sausage, smoked bacon, blistered cherry tomatoes, and sherry cream for a comforting Louisiana dish. The Mushroom Rissoto is portobello, shiitake, and cremini mushrooms tossed with truffle oil, topped with crispy fried shallots and grated parmesan. Lastly, I can recommend the Southern Chicken Piccata which is topped with lemon butter, cherry tomatoes, garlic and capers. Roasted potatoes and arugula salad are on the side. For desert, the cookie sundae is nothing more than a big chocolate chip cookie, with vanilla ice cream and a chocolate-caramel sauce. But simple things are the best. Perfect for splitting. Give 'em a try and you'll be back again and again and again!

I travel for work on a fairly regular basis. And when I do, my preference is usually to stay at a…read moreMarriott-owned hotel, mostly because I can almost always count on my following top-four priorities being met: * Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas are almost always very clean. * Safety: Entry into the rooms is almost always via an indoor hallway, where entry is obtained through the front lobby or by key-card access into one of the main hallways. * Quietness: Whether I'm traveling for work or for pleasure, I like to feel well-rested for a better day afterwards. And, these hotels are usually pretty quiet. * Free perks: As an elite member of this hotel chain, most of the time I get free perks during every stay. These are usually simple (like free bottled water), but they're appreciated. I also like to earn free stays for the future (for pleasure) by coming here on business. Within the Marriott chain of hotels, SpringHill Suites is one of my favorites because the rooms most often have: * A comfortable living and work space * A good sized TV * A mini refrigerator * A microwave * A well supplied free continental breakfast * All-day free coffee available in the lobby Now, on to the details for this specific hotel. This hotel, at the SpringHill Suites (Columbia, Maryland), was very nice during my entire stay. It met all my needs, with only two minor annoyances. These included: * All exterior doors to this hotel were non-functional for entry with a key-card during my entire time here. In other words, one could not enter from either side door or from the back; one could ONLY enter through the lobby. I'm not sure why the other doors were not working. * Unlike other SpringHill Suites locations I have stayed at, this particular hotel removes their free coffee from the lobby sometime after breakfast hours are over. This is annoying for guests (like myself) who like to have coffee in the afternoon or evening. In addition to the nice things I expect from all SpringHill Suites locations, the most pleasant part of my stay at this hotel was interacting with the staff here, especially Ahmed. He was incredibly friendly and professional, and I enjoyed chatting with him. He's definitely a five-star employee for this business! So, in summary, aside from two minor annoyances, I had a flawless experience here at this SpringHill Suites hotel. If this business corrects these two things, this location will be worthy of a five-star rating, in my opinion.
