It wasn't until after I got my food and was eating it in my car that I read the special sauce is "the secret" to everything, and I did not get any. I think you have to pay to get it. Service was fast (I pre-ordered on their app.) When I walked in to pick it up no more than 10 minutes later, it already awaited me on the shelf. They are good with speed because the menu is not very big. Just basics. I got two chicken fingers and some slaw, ordered à la cart. One chicken finger is about the size of a standard cigar. Quite tasty and surprisingly juicy. The portion size of the slaw was pretty pathetic - about the size of a container that you normally associate with holding some sort of sauce or salad dressing. Too tiny. And the taste was just meh. Cost for all of that? Seven dollars and something including tax. My conclusion? All the hype exists due to A) massive marketing targeted at young people, B) The place is new here, and, C) it offers something different compared to other standard fast food places but not so different that people won't buy it.

Sure, Cane's is a fast food chain, but they make their food fresh and it shows! My chicken is always so hot that I can't hold it at first - this makes me happy and shows they aren't cooking ahead and letting it sit around until someone shows up! We love the chicken fingers in their sauce! Order an extra! It's so good! The coleslaw is also a fav, grab a salt and pepper packet, it makes it perfect! We haven't tried the sandwich yet but the chicken fingers combos have never left us feeling disappointed!! This location pulled off their grand opening with class! The traffic was well controlled and they kept the flow moving so nicely, the wait times were minimal!! The customer service was also amazing - every time we've stopped in an associate has visited our table to see how everything was and if we needed anything! That's not typical for just any fast food joint! :)
