Super easy online ordering service and amazing accurate flowers! Genuinely one of the best bouquets I've ever seen. Fresh smelling and great flower quality for the price. Love supporting small businesses and honestly there's no where else in East Bay I would go to for flowers. Ordered online and picked up the next day!

Beautiful Custom Arrangement delivered for my sister-in-laws funeral.

My sister-in-law died. I am still recovering from surgery, unable to attend her or service/viewing. I could send flowers. The funeral home has a link to order flowers but I wanted to go to a small business knowing all of the money I paid was theirs. A funeral arrangement takes time, which I didn't have because the service/viewing was the next day. After many florists told me there wasn't enough time or they were too busy my persistence paid off. Lee's Florist. They were recommended to me by a florist who couldn't do a custom arrangement for me. When your peers recommend you, you must be good! My conversation was professional, informative, and helpful, He basically told me he would have to create my custom arrangement with his flowers on hand because there wasn't time to go to the flower market and meet my deadline. I was fine with that, Later I received an image of the beautiful arrangement for my sister-in-law. I also received an email confirming flowers were delivered on time to the funeral home. I could not be there in person to say goodbye with my family and her friends but at least I could make my presence with flowers, I appreciate Lee's Florist helping me when so needed help. They took care of what I needed remotely. Most of all, I appreciate the grace and care. They didn't have to help me. They could have said no like everyone else did because this was a tough ask. They helped me when I needed it. From my perspective it wasn't about the money - it was about helping me while I was grieving and in shock, feeling completely helpless in bed while recovering from surgery. The flowers were beautiful, the customer service was above and beyond, the price was reasonable. I highly recommend!

Every time I get a bouquet from Lee's, I'm delighted. They're always beautiful and varied! Also, I really appreciate that they have a cat safe bouquet option, since my cats like to admire flowers with their mouths. Highly recommended!

    Bouquet of the Day

Ordered a Bouquet of the Day online and it was delivered the same day. The arrangement and selection was very nice.

Lee's Florist was great to work with ahead of our Berkeley wedding and we were so happy with the floral arrangements! We came to Sue with a tight budget and some ideas, and she worked with us to create affordable arrangements that were absolutely beautiful. They delivered to two locations for a reasonable fee and all went super smoothly. Lee's Florist surpassed our expectations and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone for any occasion!

I've always ordered from them for Mothers Day and my mom is always thrilled with their flowers. They're easy to order from online, have tons of options and they clearly put a ton of care into their work. This Mother's Day I accidentally had my mom's address from last year and the delivery guy made the effort to deliver last minute to her new (nearby) address. Thanks so much Lee's! You're the best

This is my go to flower shop for every birthday, Mother's Day, Anniversary. I just give them a call and tell them the occasion and how much I want to spend, Jared or Wilt will go to work and do their magic. Whether it's pick up for delivery, they never fail to amaze me or the recipient of how gorgeous the bouquets are. I swear they have some of the best selection of flowers, colors and breeds I've never seen before. The flowers are so fresh, they are alway pre blossom, so you get to see them blossom and they last much longer than flowers from Safeway or other places. This is def the way to go if you want to make a lasting impression, make someone's day, especially for someone you love. Special thanks to the Lee's for making me look like the MAN every time! Love these guys!

This was my first purchase from Lee's, and I'm so impressed with the arrangement I got for my mom's birthday. I will definitely be back, and have already recommended to the rest of my family to check out Lee's!

One of the bouquets for my wedding!

Lee's Florist & Nrsry did the flowers for my wedding. They did both the bouquets for me and my bridesmaids and the flowers for my centerpieces. Sue was the person we worked with, and she did an amazing job! She was so attentive to what I wanted and created, bouquets that were stunning. For the size of the bouquets, corsages, delivery, and help with set up, the price was very fair. I would recommend Lee's to anyone. Thanks Sue!

I wrote a quick note in my "bouquet of the day" order about looking for something festive with muted greens, creams, and dark reds. I had no idea if they would read the note, but they did and this arrangement was amazing and beyond what I had imágined! I am so delighted.

A lei for my beautiful bestie, Stephanie Y on the occasion of the UYE Baby Shower. Hawaiian folklore favors an open lei, rather one in a circle. Beautiful Blue Orchids to wish Stephanie's boy a welcome to the world .

On the way to make someone very happy!

I wandered into the store, mostly on a whim, and I'm so thrilled that I did! The staff is absolutely sweet, helpful, and makes shopping so easy. Did I plan on buying a plant? Not at all. Did I? Absolutely! All of their plants are indoor specific, and they will help you find the perfect plant. Do you need a plant that goes in that spot in your Home or Office? That's full Senh? They've got you covered. Do you need a plant that prefers subtle or little to no lighting in your home or office? They've got you covered. Their plants are beautiful, healthy, and they range in different sizes from the most petite, too much larger sizes. The plant I picked out with help from one of the staff, not only is perfect for the space that I want it for, but because I also purchased a lovely ceramic pot, as a complementary service, they repotted my plant in its new ceramic pot. They do offer repotting for your plants, and it's obvious that they have a ton of repeat customers. The store was becoming busy as I was looking at all the different plants, gifts, etc., and if people weren't purchasing arrangements, or having repotting done, they were purchasing new plants like I was. This is a special place to get lost in, shop in, and fall in love with plants.

Every person I've encountered has been such a gem; they're kind and down to earth. Some of the plants are a bit on the pricey side, but they are all beautiful and well cared for, and you're supporting a small business, so it's worth it. On my last trip, I scored a beautiful Hoya Kerrii for $13.50. It was such a fantastic deal considering how many leaves it has! I also love that they have tiny plants in tiny pots, which makes you feel like you're growing something from scratch, plus they're super cute! I'm not in the East Bay often but will make sure I stop here, next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

It's a great spot if you're looking to grow your own food or just enjoy a calm walk through nature. There's a section for indoor houseplants, but it's a bit limited. Most of the options are Succulent plants and hardier varieties, so if you're looking for a large variety of tropicals or more delicate indoor plants, you might not find much--though there is a separate indoor plant area that was closed off during our visit. You'll definitely notice the fertilizer smell when you walk in--not overwhelming, but something to be aware of if you're sensitive. Still, the overall atmosphere is relaxing and grounding. It's a really lovely spot to explore, especially if you enjoy gardening or just want a nature-filled reset. Heads-up for allergy sufferers: with all the plants, pollen, and earthy air, you may want to plan accordingly. As a customer of Flowerland for several years, writing the following brings me no joy. I was there…read morethe other day and saw a pair of gauntlet gloves. There was no price. I asked; the woman behind the counter looked it up and answered: $42. That seemed a bit expensive, so I checked online. While checking, the same woman comes over, sits down next to me, and asks, "Can I tell you something? Small business can't compete with Harbor Freight," then gets up and leaves. First, her statement to me was incredibly condescending. I'm almost 60 years old and know how businesses large and small work. She didn't need to scold me like I'm 5 years old. (FYI, Harbor Freight doesn't even sell any gauntlet gloves.) Did she honestly think she'd either guilt or shame me into buying their gloves? Did she think that was a good tactic to engender customer loyalty? Second, I'm all for -- and do -- support local businesses, even if it means paying a little bit more. As I said initially, I've been a customer of Flowerland's for several years. In general, if an item seems expensive, I check online not only to compare price, but to read reviews, in this case, for the particular brand of gloves. If an item has 4- and 5-star reviews, perhaps it's worth the extra price and I have made such purchases in the past. I've certainly knowingly paid more for their 1-gallon plants averaging around $22 whereas I know that many places sell 1-gallon plants for around $15. Third, in this case, this particular brand of gloves was about four times the typical cost of other gauntlet gloves I saw online. As I said, sometimes I'm willing to pay more to support a local business, but that does not mean I'm willing to do so unconditionally at any price -- especially for things like gloves that, no matter how good quality they are, will eventually wear out. Gloves are disposable, commodity items. (The seams at the fingertips are always the first part to wear out.) If that woman is independently wealthy, works at Flowerland just for fun, and pays any price any small business asks, well good for her. Some of us, myself included, are retired and are living off savings. From now on, I'll stick to Berkeley Hort, Orchard Nursery, and others where I have never been condescended to by any member of staff. Oh, and Berkeley Hort's plant prices tend to be better anyway.
