Delicious Italian hoagie and a small fries that would be an extra large anywhere else!! Tons of meat and fresh veggies in the hoagie. So good I am going to look into starting a franchise in Delaware!!

Excellent fries - fresh, hot and very generous. Hoagies were great. Very friendly and helpful. I heartily recommend them!

Lee's has been a staple at my parent's house since I can remember. We recently returned for lunch for the family. Just so you know, though their website (and therefore Yelp) lists the address as the intersection of 2nd St. Pike and County Line Rd, Lee's is NOT at the intersection. It is a bit north of the Sunoco which is at the intersection. If using GPS or whatever try an address of 14 2nd Street Pike. The brown sign and interior evoke the early 80's. (Lee's in Southampton opened in 1983.) Hoagie's are priced about $5 - $7.50 per half roll (about a 12" sandwhich). You usually get asked if you want mayo or oil, onions and/or hot peppers (relish, not yellow banana peppers). I thought the service was ok. The guys behind the counter are usually friendly and fast. I think somewhere it says toppings can be extra but they gave us a bunch of free onions, pickles and hot pepper relish. Lee's also makes their own brand of potato chips which are good supplement to your hoagie. This time I ordered a 1/2 of the Italian hoagie which comes with 4 Italian meats and Italian cheese. I thought the combination of seemingly fresh meats and oil was perfect. Their bread is always tasty, a bit crunchy on the outside and soft inside. My girlfriend, who is a vegetarian, got the grilled veggie sandwhich. It was a bit messy, but she said it was delicious. Overall, my parents have been coming back to Lee's for 25 years because it's consistently tasty.

Buffalo chicken cheesesteak, best fries around and a fountain soda.

Went back yesterday and noticed fries were straight cut, where are the crinkle cut fries!?!? Disappointing!

Half Cheesesteak with pepperoni, extra cheese, hot peppers, fried onions and a little mayo.

Everything! It's such a delicacy for me when I return to Philly and want local food. Lee's never disappoints.

Definitely an easy 5 stars from me! And a special shoutout to our delivery driver for being incredibly patient with us while we chased our dog around the showroom at work because he decided to grab a plant and run Thank you for waiting while we dealt with that chaos! Great food, great service, and apparently dog-approved... even if we could've done without the plant-eating incident.

First time trying Silvio's as I have a grown kid moving in practically across the street. The place…read moreseems like it is exactly what you would expect from the outside. They serve pizza and a range of sandwiches and sides--looks like they even have pizza by the slice, at least for lunch. I was definitely interested. But we ordered breakfast online, so I picked up 2 of their smaller sized breakfast sandwiches. And I'm really glad we picked the smaller size because they were huge. I had an egg and cheese and it was near perfect. There must have been 4 eggs in that sandwich--all cooked thin and folded. The white American cheese was perfectly melted. And the bread was warm and chewy. I'm making myself hungry for it again as I'm writing this review. My kid had the bacon, egg, and cheese and was likewise impressed. And once they like a place, they will be back on the regular. And this is the kind of place that looks like it draws regulars. I'd like to try more of their range of options. The egg and cheese sandwich choice is usually nothing special, but given how much I enjoyed the half of that simple sandwich that I managed to eat, I'm guessing they do other things well, too. It's always a good sign to me when a place is nailing the basics. So, like my routine-loving child, I'm sure I'll be back! Also, we picked up the sandwiches, walked home, then ate them. If they lost any quality during that time, it was unnoticeable. They were still hot enough to need a few minutes to become an edible temperature.

The quality that they provide every single time I step foot into that establishment is unparallel. Don Cheech's steak has the perfect ratio of cooper sharp to ribeye to the fried onions. The tender seeded roll is a fantastic touch to an already great sandwich. Another thing to point out is that the value of this place is insane. Right now Don Cheech's steak sits at $16.00 including tax. If you compare that to Angelos pizzerias "Cheesesteak" which is $21.06 including tax for an arguably inferior meal is mental. The service at Café Carmella is always personalized to you. They almost always take the time out of their day to recommend you something based on what else you have ordered which is extremely helpful if your indecisive. Another great thing to point out is the overly friendly environment that they provide. I've never seen a speck of dust or dirt in the place the countless of times that I have eaten here. Finally the location is ideal, If your like myself and you love a sweet treat after a great meal. Your in luck because the Huntingdon valley location sits directly next to a south Philly staple Johns water ice which is an authentic classic. Overall if you are even remotely in the area and your interested in having a high quality dining experience I highly recommend it.

Still we decided to share their American Boi Pizza and Carm's Parm Chicken with Drunken Rigatoni. The tomato pie was excellent (especially the first few slices right from the oven) which was perfectly crisp (no flop) and just the right char. It was superior to the parmigiana dinner platter, whose chicken was a bit dry due to being so thinly malleted and uncovered from lack of a fuller spoonful or two of red gravy. The Rigatoni was also in limited supply on the plate, but did hold the vodka blush well, which was pretty good. Service was exceptional, as our waitress engaged us warmly from welcome to final salutation. She was attentive and clearly took our satisfaction to heart. Five Star American Boi; Three Star Chicken Parm. No bread for the table. 3.5 Stars overall.
