My family and I were looking for a place to grab something to eat quickly before the Ed Sheeran concert. My Aunt has been to this place many times and recommended it, so we decided to place an online order. My Mom and Aunt split the cheesesteak and added cheese whiz and fried onions (with pickles on the side), an order of coleslaw, and I ordered the BBQ Chicken Wrap on a flour tortilla. I placed the order online for a 2:45 PM pickup. Unfortunately, my Mom and I were running a little late leaving the house and we ended up arriving at the store at 3:07 PM. We pulled up and there was a Closed sign on the door. I immediately was panicking since we already placed the order/paid for it, but I looked inside and saw an employee still behind the counter. I told her I was here to pick up the online order and she grabbed it off the counter for me. I felt so bad because I didn't realize that they close early (I saw store hours up until 5:00 PM and thought that was for every day, but Saturday they close around 3:00 PM). I'm sure the employee might have been a little annoyed I was late, but I appreciate that they stuck around for me!! In terms of the food, my Mom and Aunt enjoyed their cheesesteaks and coleslaw! I also enjoyed my BBQ Chicken Wrap. It wasn't as warm as I'd like, but that is entirely my fault since we picked the food up 20 minutes late. When I order a hoagie I expect full slices of tomatoes and full slices of onion a good hoagie should have at least 4 slices of tomato and full slices of onion if you want to slice your tomatoes in half and onions in half then you are in the wrong business raise your price if you have to but don't sacrifice quality on food by trying to save on tomatoes and onions I won't be back cheap skate hoagies you can call the place . This was both a perfectly solid sandwich and a bit of a disappointment. They have a very impressive menu with some fantastic combinations and the manager was a very nice guy, but the sandwich was decidedly mid. 5 Star Hoagies for the most part but they need to get it together as far as service goes. I've been coming here for about 5 or 6 years ... Best hoagies in the area. I never had any issues until now. This last visit was a joke. 50 minute wait for 3 hoagies and chicken fingers ? Wtf. They also went lite on the meat and cheese. my buddies sandwich was mostly all roll - dude was pissed. Picked up a deal on Yelp, pay $10 and get $20 worth of food . We figured we'd give it a try, why not. We got a pepperoni cheese steak with extra cheese. Solid decent cheesesteak, good flavor nice amount of meat. Hot and fresh with a great soft but sturdy roll. Chicken parm was okay. The sauce is was on the slightly sweet side. I'm not a fan of slight sweet sauce for a chicken parm, but it wasn't bad. Wouldn't it get that again though. Chicken cutlet "hoagie" was made so wrong. I ordered a chicken cutlet hoagie and all I got was a piece of breaded chicken on a roll with nothing on it. I don't know how you mess up a chicken cutlet hoagie, I ordered nothing special on it. Guess they didn't feel like making it "hoagie" like for me. The girl who took the order was young and seemed like she cared more about getting off the phone when I ordered than getting my order down right. At least two out of three items where correct. We stopped here for a quick lunch yesterday. It's a neighborhood deli with a few tables for those who want to eat in. Hoagies come in two sizes small and large. The smalls are about 5-6" and costs an average of $5.99 and the large is about 10" and costs an average of $7.99. This was our first time here so decided to try both their steaks and hoagies. I ordered a turkey and cheese hoagie and my bf ordered the Bleu cheese steak which was topped with both bacon and bleu cheese. They both were very good and loaded with both meat and toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles and etc.). I hope to visit again soon. read more

My wife and I had hoagies very top notch quality bread very good! All was fresh and satisfying would comeback over and over, the only negative is they forgot to give me the macaroni salad I paid for but even with that I give 5 stars! I have been an employee of heritage and I am now a customer.... I moved away and took the drive here for the cheesesteaks and hoagies..... CHICKEN CHEESESTEAK salad is the BEST! To be Frank, the hoagies are FRESH! They are not wawa... when I worked there the waits were long because the meat is sliced for each order and the steaks are freshly cooked! If you order on a Friday, yes you will wait! Friday's can have orders with over 12 sandwiches if not more on them. I would rather wait for freshness then go to wawa and get 5 hour old cut meat. I still order from heritage and the people there work their butts off. No where is perfect, and they have off days.... please remember that. Great food, great people, and great prices!! read more

Love this place! Have been coming here since I was in middle school right down the street. I've had bbq chicken wraps, hoagies, and cheesesteaks. All great! My favorite is the turkey italian with fresh roasted reds and mozz cheese balls. Also went through a turkey BLT phase w honey mustard. Mannn that was good! Heritage Hoagies is one of the best I've had. Not only do my co-workers and I order from them regularly, but the President of our company has had me order to provide lunch for visitors and employees. This is my favorite sandwich shop in the area. My favorite hoagie is the South Philly, with lettuce, tomato, oil, S&P, oregano. It has a bit of a kick to it, as there's a long hot included on the sandwich. The fries are fantastic too. The rolls are fresh and nice and soft. I believe the shop uses Lisio. Lunchtime is a little busy, as is expected from a small deli. Your best bet is to call ahead to pickup your order. However, if you're stopping in for lunch, the wait is worth it. read more

I have an unhealthy relationship with buffalo sauce. I have also had lots of disappointing chicken cheesesteaks since moving here a few years ago. Heritage is now the only place in Huntingdon Valley I will order buffalo chicken cheesesteaks from. My complaint is not with the food, but with the fact that I can't always easily get my fix (I work during the day and usually just run to pick up)! Several times I have tried to place orders during what I thought were opening hours, and they were already closed, and other times they had run out of bread before what I thought was posted closing time. Oh man am I glad we stopped here! Spent a full day touring the museums in Bryn Athyn and hiking the Wissahickon trail left my girlfriend and I with hungry, empty stomachs. I saw this place on our way in and it looked like the exact type of establishment that would offer delicious sandwiches at reasonable prices and that is exactly what happened! Rolls were incredible. Every sandwich I have gotten from here has been delicious. This is a local sand which shop and I've been coming here since I was in high school. Very small inside, Bur the staff is friendly and I love their hoagies. I always get the meatball Parm, roast beef, turkey or Italian.
