Not a bad place. Stopped in as a walk in. Wanted to get a gel manicure. They did a good job. My nails look even and nicely painted. The place could certainly be cleaned better as the nail dust is visible. They asked before cutting my nails and asked me if the length was good or if I wanted it shorter etc. I mean for 25$ gel manicure it wasn't bad...places near my home charge a lot more but do the works - lotion, hot towels and even a short chair massage with the gel manicure. It wasn't a bad experience for me as this would be a back up place for me when I'm in NY. Overall, place was decent and the staff was nice. Seems like they get a lot of regulars too as when I was there about 3 women seemed like they go there all the time...so not bad. read more

Stopped in here on the way home when another salon turned me away. The condition of this joint is just horrible. There is actual dirt everywhere. I was very nervous to get my nails done here but I was desperate. Vicky started doing my acrylic fill when an irate customer came in and screamed that she had an appointment at that time. I got out of the chair just so she would shut up, and decided the get a pedicure in the meantime. Pedicure was horrible. The lady kept cutting me and hurting me. Thankfully, Vicky is the only one who can apply gel so the polish looks great. After the pedicure I went back to Vicky who was doing my nails as if she was running a marathon. I didn't bother me though because there was no massage so I was ready to leave. She painted and filed my nails perfectly. Definitely no frills at all here, but Vicky is very good with gel. read more

If you like cold water to soak your feet in and hands before your mani/pedi this is your place to go. If you like to get cut on your cuticles, this is your place. The massage chair must be from someone's dead grandparents house. One week later and my cuticles still sting in 2 spots. The 2workers there were wearing north face coats because, guess what, it was cold. Try to support local but this is just bad. read more

The way they take off acrylic nails hurt so much. i was still scraping acrylic off my nail days later prior from having them " removed".

This place is very inexpensive and in this case you will get what you pay for... there polishes are old and dried out and if they aren't and do a decent manicure, they will use a top coat that literally has dry residue all over the rim and your nails will bubble. My nails were painted, badly and bubbles were on every nail. She redid it and was so mad only for it to be just as bad the second time. This place is not the cleanest. I'm not going back, that's for sure. read more

Terrible experience! They tried to take a Dremel tool to my bare toes that didn't have gel polish on them or anything. My toes are well taken care of, receiving a pedicure every few weeks at max. No reason for a drill! I was in shock. Oh and she also tries massaging my thighs.. That was new. The manicure was sloppy and the polish was globbed on. I asked for a design... They didn't even ask what I wanted. When I repeatedly said I wanted red she kept brushing me off and continued on with what she was doing. Unsanitary. They don't have a clue what they are doing. Just a couple of things. One the woman who worked on me rushed. It was only 10am. I could understand if it was 7pm. But come on. And now my nails are all chipped and it's only been 1 day. Worst manicure ever. I guess that's what you get for $8. Paint job was shitty, tools didn't even come from a sterilizer, they were just sitting there out in the open. I had to make sure they were clean...and trust that they were when she said yes. Didn't even put lotion on my hands until I asked if she was even going to....just a crappy experience and will never return. read more

I live in NJ but was in town for business and between appointments so decided to get a manicure. Worst manicure I've ever had and I've been getting them for 30+ years! The salon was filthy all around...no surprise that the tools didn't even come out of a sterilizer. The woman who gave me the manicure was rude and in a rush (she may want to consider getting a job where she doesn't have to be around "actual people") I was glad she didn't bother with my cuticles since I was certain I would've contracted some kind of nail fungus due to lack of sterilization. Her polish job was horrible and I had to keep asking her to correct it. Short story long...it was $10 dollars I'll never see again and to top it all off the polish literally was coming off in chunks the very next day!! How places like this stay in business is beyond me. read more

Been going to Vicky ( the owner) for over 17 years. She does THE BEST acrylic nails, shellac, and fill-ins for dirt cheap! I've been all over -- to high-end costly spa like salons to places all over Connecticut and Florida and California . NO ONE does nails better! Also, eyebrow and lip waxing. The total downside is you MUST have thick skin and ignore the crappy surroundings. It's a shithole. However, you get your own utensils for free (just ask -- shel'll make a box for you!) and so you know the stuff hasn't been used on anyone else! I've seen her beautiful nail art on people and her French manicures, and they're terrific. I just get a sheer pink, plain mani. $25 for a full set of acrylic, and $17 for fill-ins. I last 2-3 weeks. Today I had a fill, eyebrow, and lip wax and my total was $30! Can't beat that! Vicky is super quick, but not careless. 2 stars for cleanliness ( or lack thereof)'but 5 stars for nails! Also, being open seven days a week is super convenient. read more

By far the worst pedicure ever!! Stopped here because it's close to home. Big mistake. Unnecessary use of a nail sander. Polish was poorly applied and nails were cut crooked. My mistake for not stopping her and not walking out. If I can rate them 0 stars I would. Had to fix them up at home. read more

I just uploaded a picture and it didn't let me write my experience. So I went to Lee nails to get my nails done for the first day of school.I got acrylic tips. And they came out really nice. But three weeks later they started to come off which I expected. But I realised that after taking them off it left a tear in my left thumb. So a week after I went back to get my nails done for my friends sweet 16 and decided not to get tips this time and just get a regular manicure. But before anything I showed the lady doing my nails the cut. She did not type of treatment for it at all. All she did was put tip glue on it then proceeded to buff my nails and at first I thought it would be fine because if wasn't a big tear yet. Until yesterday it stared to hurt so badly. So I took a nail cuter and started to cut the top of my nails. Then my nail legit stared to peel off. Since it was halfway off I cut the other half. But in doing that I also cut off some skin. Now my thumb is extremely sensitive and it hurts a lot. I feel as though if she would of properly taken care of the first time this wouldn't have happened. I am extremely disappointed in the salon service. read more
