My first Apothecary facial was back in 2013. The gal who worked with me was obviously hung over, not happy about being there that morning, and gave me an absolutely amazing pore popping, skin changing facial. Walked out of there feeling like a million bucks .. and that I'd just spent an hour with my worst frenemy. I returned for another facial last month and met with a different gal; very sweet, but provided the most unenthusiastic spa service I've ever received. Again - an absolutely fabulous facial, but left me lying on the table for 5 - 10 minutes at a time in between treatments. Get up off the chair and throw in some massage for crying out loud .. don't just let me lay there! Two fabulous facials, two totally bizarre experiences - I will be back! =) How can I not?!

This location is super clean and convenient. The front desk attendant is super sweet and my favorite esthetician, Hanna, is always super punctual, thorough, and easy to talk to. I have been getting my lashes done for three years consistently. Moving to Newport from LA, I was concerned I would be able to find a salon that could do as good of a job as my former long time lash lady on the west coast. Upon entering the salon you will be welcomed and then sit down with the owner for a minute to look at the different lengths, types and curls of eyelashes. Then you will pick out your desired shape and will be shown pictures if needed. Then you are taken back to the application area which is simply a massage table. Take off your shoes lay down and get comfortable under a blanket, close your eyes and drift off for an hour of sleep while the jeyelash owner works her magic. Yes, the owner does the lashes herself! Once lashes are applied, you are handed a bottle of water and sprayed with a refreshing face spray for setting and hydration. The salon is quiet and very zen music plays overhead...think spa. All of the tools are opened in front of you, many minutes are spent prepping your own lashes and examining the last set of extensions to remove the ones that are too grown out. Each time I go for my fill I am blown away by what a great job is done and how relaxing the process is. I give Jeyelash 4 out of 5 ONLY BECAUSE of the price! I was not expecting to pay Beverly Hills lash extension prices here and I think many clients who might be open to trying extensions would be turned away from the cost of service.

The staff was extremely nice and took such good care of me. While I waited, I sat in the pedicure chair and enjoyed a nice little massage. I also was offered a neck warmer which really helped take the pressure off my shoulders. The conversation with the nail tech was very natural and refreshing. Sometimes I hate just sitting there and trying to find an odd place to stare. (Ha Ha). Overall for the price my nails came out as expected. The shape was SPOT on which is the biggest issue I typically have. This time it was the curing of my polish. There were several bumpy/flaky areas which kind of made my nails look weird. The color was beautiful though. Not an awful place but was slightly disappointed with the nails.
