4.5 I had a craving for some Vietnamese coffee, and found this spot! They had an order online, pickup in store option through door dash, so I decided to do that. When I arrived, it wasn't very busy. Seating is available indoors and there was a small table outdoors too. The inside was very clean and they had some grab and go beverages. Lots of different options to choose from on their drink menu, and a variety of jellies / add ons. They also had a delicious looking food menu with lots of Banh Mi sandwiches which I can't wait to come back and try! I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee with Crystal boba. It was good, and my drink was ready for me when I got there, kept cool in a fridge. I definitely recommend checking this spot out if you're in the area.

Was craving banh mi and pre-ordered our sandwiches online. They were ready for pickup in less than 30 minutes, which was perfect since that's how long it took us to get there. I had the option to select a specific pickup time, but chose ASAP. We ordered two #B8 sandwiches and were able to customize them easily online. I forgot to add extra meat and pâté for my meat lover (it costs extra). At $6.95 each, the sandwiches were a good value as is. There are tables and chairs in the store, so we chose to eat there. It was nice and quiet. Definitely satisfied our craving! We like the bread here because it's a bit softer than Lee's Sandwiches and reminds me of the banh mi shops in California. Will definitely try the drinks next time!!!

First time trying Urbanh Cafe this past weekend. Service was fast and it was easy to place an order. We ordered two grilled pork and one grilled chicken. The bread was served warm and fresh. Not a lot of meat inside. I would prefer a little more pate and butter but overall, pretty good. My kids devoured the grilled chicken with cucumber and were very happy with it. We'll definitely come back another time and try again.

Service was fast and coffee was strong. I like the option to reduce the sweetness of the Vietnamese coffee. I was not too impressed with sandwich. The bread was nice and soft but I wish there was more protein.

What the heck is this? Dishes scrub sponge?

I would stop by Urbanh occasionally to get their Viet coffee, Thai green tea and their sandwiches. I usually don't do review but I had to after getting their desserts yesterday. I was extremely disappointed of their tasteless and diluted desserts, but even more mad when I found this in my dessert. It looks like the dishes scrub sponge. This is disgusting! I will never purchase their drinks and food anymore after this incident. Imagine what their kitchen and overall hygiene look like in the back.

I got two banh mi as part of a group take out order. I got the brisket and my son the grilled pork. Neither of us were impressed. I'm from out of town and am used to bread that has more of a crust/satisfying crunch. Flavors were ok. Not sure I would order again.

After shopping at Lee Lee International Supermarket, my eldest daughter and I continued our plaza journey over to Urbanh Cafe because we saw an Urbanh Cafe advertisement at the entrance of Lee Lee (great marketing idea to place your advertisement where there is most foot traffic especially when your cafe is all the way at one end of the plaza). I love Vietnamese desserts so I had to pay them a visit. It's a simple and cute cafe with some seating inside and limited seating out in front of the cafe. It has a wall of pretty pictures of the various Vietnamese desserts (another great marketing idea to get your dessert drinks exposed by showing pictures of them). I love avocados so I went with the Avocado Dessert. I didn't get anything else. Unfortunately, the dessert was not sweet at all. I was expecting the coconut milk or cream to have been sweetened. The avocados were good though. I think this was the very first time where I got a Vietnamese dessert drink that was not sweet which was kind of odd. Anyway, the staff was friendly. Prices are quite reasonable. They also sell sandwiches and other savory & sweet desserts. The next time I'm in Chandler, AZ, I'll have to come back here to try their other desserts. Maybe I just didn't pick their most popular dessert. Happy Urbanh Cafe'ing! Btw, I love the play on word in the biz name... Urbanh versus Urbane or Urban.

We tried this place for Banh Mi for the first time, as we wanted to try a different place other than Lee's Sandwiches across the road. Location is perfect if you are shopping at Lee Lees Supermarket next door. The food was OK or average, but not on the same level as Mekong Sandwiches or Lee's. It seemed like the person making the sandwiches didn't get the balance of ingredients right, the flavor profile was off, one of the sandwiches was missing jalapeños, and there was very little meat - like one thin slice of each. It is quite small too. My wife felt that it seems like a weird fusion place but not really coming close to a true Banh Mi sandwich. I don't leave bad reviews, but I don't think this place is making too much of an effort. It wasn't bad, it was just OK, but I don't think I would come back in the future. Service was nice and friendly, and no-one else was there eating, which probably reflects my thoughts on the food too. I hope it improves and I would be willing to try again, but maybe I'll check back on Yelp first.

Came here again a year later with a che craving! Got the che ba mau again at 50% sugar with ice on the side and it was SO good and SO filling. Definitely worth it for $5 considering so many drink/dessert places charge $6-7 per cup now. We also got a jasmine tea with sea salt cream and it was soooo watery and not sweet at all. Husband ordered 75% sweetness and it was like 10% sweet. Come for the che, not the tea.

This was a disappointment. I wanted to try a new banh mi place and yelp has great reviews. Unfortunately the bread was soggy after 15 minutes, the toppings were weirdly soggy and old tasting and very little meat. And soooo small! Will not be back

I was super stoked to check a place with "retro" in the name out, and I gotta be honest here, I left with pretty mixed emotions about a lot of things. The restaurant itself is pretty boring inside, mostly just being black with a few small pictures hanging up. I was kind of expecting big retro movie posters or something hanging around, but I definitely didn't get much of a retro vibe from this place minus a small neon "bar" sign and a claw machine in the corner. The menus were very cool, right by the front door its a record shelf and the records were the menus, so thumbs up for that idea. I thought i was mistaken, but I don't remember seeing sandwich prices on the actual menu, but as I look at other photos on yelp it does appear that the sandwiches don't have prices attached to them, which explains why I was thrown off by the end price. I settled on ordering the "take on me" which was black forest ham, roasted turkey, hickory smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and mayo on a Hawaiian style roll. I also ordered a sprite and a chocolate chip cookie as a side. The chocolate chip cookie was okay, pretty standard cookie though definitely not worth $3.75. The sprite was $2.99, and the sandwich came to $15.58. I was also charged $0.96 for something called the advantage program which I have no idea what that is. I gotta say, spending over $25 on a sandwich, a small cookie, and a drink is not something I would care to do at a place like this. The sandwich itself was very good, I won't deny that. The meat tasted fresh, and when it was all together it was definitely a good sandwich, but when there's not combo option and a basic sandwich, cookie, and drink ends up being $25 it's gonna be a no from me on returning in the future. Overall, I really wanted to love this place for the name, but the lack of much decorations and prices left something to be desired. The food itself was good, but not worth what was spent.

Before even stepping into the building, I was excited because the outside looked like something from a Western movie. There was plenty of parking, and from the parking lot being majority-filled, I knew this would be a good stop. You can also see the outdoor seating from the parking lot, and it was filled with a couple families. The walk in directs you straight to the smokehouse/restaurant. You order at the counter, and then you either get a seat number and choose a seat or wait at the counter for pick up. There was a decent sized menu of bbq options, sides and drinks. The dessert display was filled with what looked to be DELECTABLE goodies! :) (this is what I'd try when I come back, FOR SURE!). I ordered the double meat platter with a half rack of ribs and brisket. The sides were chose were baked beans and Mac and cheese. The platter came with the two rolls, as well. This was to share with one other person. I'd say the ribs were okay, not my favorite! The brisket, on the other hand, had a PERFECT Smokey taste. The Mac and cheese was okay and so were the baked beans (they were super sweet, if that's what you're going for!). Add the regular bbq sauce on the side for dipping and you've got a tasty meal! After dining, we were able to go around the antique shop in the back. It was HUGE! And it kept GOING AND GOING! There here vendors of all sorts from furniture to home goods to jewelry to clothes/shoes. There's a little something for everyone here! There was even a hidden (I guess not hidden if you know about it), second hand, vintage clothing store in the very back. I didn't walk out with anything, but it was as worth the window shopping! The exit was through the antique shop near the cash wrap. Overall, the experience was lovely. The food was in the mid range for me, but I'd come back for dessert and the shopping.
