Chicken banh mi and Vietnamese coffee
    Candice C.

I appreciate that this location has not changed anything and delivers the same Lee's quality as back in the day. I've tried other locations that deviated from the original quality, which is disappointing, but this location thankfully does not - the baguettes and other breads always taste fresh, the banh mi and other sandwiches are made well, and the Vietnamese coffee recipe is consistently true to taste. The service here is always friendly, even if you go through the drive thru. While the drive thru line is long sometimes, it usually goes quickly. Inside, the place feels nostalgic and is cleaned well. I recommend trying all of the smoothies - the avocado smoothie is my favorite. This location has a variety of fresh pastries, spring rolls, desserts, etc on the counter to look through as well.

Solid place for good Vietnamese sandwich and fast service. I placed my order online and picked it up within 5 minutes. The service was friendly and fast. I was happy to see that this location also has a drive through option.

It's a standard chain sandwich shop. Nothing too fancy and nothing too different. The banh mi was fine, but nothing special. They are open early and have a drive thru. Besides sandwiches they offer coffee, drinks, and packaged goods.

I bought a pork roll for lunch. The item was over fried. It was dry, tough and feels like rubber. Inside there was strange light pink color. Store staff was extremely rude and didn't take me seriously when I came back for a replacement. They told me it was normal.

I love the convenience of the drive thru. I typically come here when I'm on my way to work in the mornings or I need a quick bite before my tattoo appointment. I appreciate that they are pretty quick when you order through the drive thru. I'm not sure about inside though, since I've never been inside. Service is always nice here. I've been to many other lee sandwiches locations, however, this place is the location that seems to be the most generous with their meats. That's always a plus!

Everyone knows Lee's is like the Vietnamese fast food version McDonald's. It's not a must have kinda place, but just one you visit just because it's there. Honestly I'm only here for the ca phe sua dua which always hits the spot for me. While they have a variety of banh mi, there's too many other local places you know would do it better. While the cashiers are friendly, the service at this location is painfully slow, both in person and at the drive thru.

Yum...Fresh baguettes! The best in town.

Bring CA$H or you need to spend at least $5 minimum purchase to use your credit card. Parking - is bit tight and busy during busy weekend. Staff is always very polite. The store is clean and has tables to sit down to eat inside and outside. I love their freshly baked baguettes to eat with pork rolls, chicken/beef stew or just plain ham/turkey sandwich made at home. I've been to Lees in Bolsa and Fountain Valley and Orange - this one seemed bigger and well kept. I mainly come to Lees for the one and only barguette. They're freshly made every day. I do not like breads in general but definitely a baguette fangirl at Lees. Their eggrolls taste ok. I've tasted better. Be careful and ask for ingredients if you're allergic or sensitive to to nuts/shrimps/seed oils etc.

Do they sell the coconut waffle at this location?

Do they only serve breakfast in the mornings?

I came by at 8:45pm and the drive through lady said they were closed. Yelp says they close at 9:30pm, what is the real closing time?

The drive-thru closes early. Their last order via drive-thru is just before 9:30pm. It says somewhere there where you order. It's definitely at the window.

The roasted pork and duck were flavorful, fresh, and not gamey. I live a bit far away, so by the time I got home the skin was no longer crispy, but that wasn't a big deal. The siu mai was decent , nothing particularly standout, but satisfying. The restaurant is newly opened, very clean, and well maintained. The space is modest in size, but parking is easy and convenient. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout the visit. The only minor downside was the wait time. For someone busy like me, I'm quite sensitive to waiting . Overall, a solid neighborhood spot worth trying, especially for early-morning roast meat cravings.

The pork skin was CRISPY!! I was sad to see the mixed reviews. Maybe they had a few off days but the crispy pork we had was fresh out of the oven. Parking is easy peasy since they're in a strip mall. Service was friendly. Food took a little while to come out but I can appreciate the quality of food and preparation time. This is a casual mom and pop eatery. No frills, just serving up some TASTY crispy pork! Can't wait to come back for more crispy pork and to try the duck. It looked awesome hanging in the display case.

Be prepared: this place is incredibly popular, especially during peak hours. Parking can definitely be challenging because of how busy it is. The last time I visited on a Monday, the lot was completely full, and I ended up parking on the street. The restaurant is also primarily cash only, so come prepared. They open early, making it a perfect breakfast spot for an early bowl of pho. The pho broth is exactly what I want when I'm craving comfort food--clean, flavorful, and incredibly soothing. However, the star of the meal for me was the chả giò. Wow. Although they arrived after our pho, they came out at the perfect temperature. I was hesitant to take a bite right away because freshly fried food usually burns my mouth, but these were just right. Crispy, airy, savory, and absolutely delicious. Paired with their fish sauce, it was perfection. I enjoyed the egg rolls so much that next time I'm definitely ordering the egg roll vermicelli bowl. Service was friendly and prompt despite how busy it was, and it's clear the staff works hard to keep things moving. One thing I love is seeing all of the awards and accolades displayed on the walls. Phở 79 received the prestigious James Beard America's Classics Award, and it's easy to understand why after one meal here. This restaurant is truly an Orange County icon. The restaurant will soon be moving to a new location, as signs throughout the restaurant announce the upcoming move. While I'll miss the original spot, I'm excited for the new space--hopefully with more parking! Some places are worth the wait, and Phở 79 is absolutely one of them.

He was rushing my mom and felt irritated that she was asking questions. There were rau cau that came in singles and rau cau that came in 6. I never knew that the ones that came in six were just display and not for sale. My mom wanted to save the dude from grabbing single ones, so she asked for the tray of 6 Pandan coconut. He gave my mom attitude saying that he only sell the single ones. If she insisted in buying the tray of 6 then it will be extra cost. Lol in that case we rather get in singles..duh! More convenient to eat...crazy! Afterwards, when he noticed that my mom was buying more stuff, he kinda stopped with his attitude. Like yo...chill. One or two items, you're still making money. That how you became you today!!! I gonna give this place another chance. In the future, if he still act such ways..it's goodbye for good. For sure, I will lower the ratings as well. Place is lucky that although the service went down but the quality still the same.
