We ended up having to re-roof the patio they built after less than 3 months because of the wrong pitch angle and constant leaks (we had another contractor come fix the errors) and have someone help us realign a lot of the walk way/landscaping that was haphazardly laid down. The first few days of work went well, but after that scheduling and communication became spotty from them, they had to redo some parts that were not well planned out, and ultimately parts of the work never got completed before they moved on to bigger jobs (but they had been paid).

Back in Oct, William was abled to hand-pull all the weeds in my backyard and mow my lawn in preparation for the winter. He had made sure there's no grass clippings leftover as I was allergic to Bermuda grass so his service was helpful for my health. Initially, did an amazing job and was going to be my go-to lawn guy once the grass is growing again the Spring. Recently for the Spring, I asked him for the same service, weed removal (expecting hand-pulled like last time), lawn mowing, and pre-emergent weed treatments. Total cost was $170 but I gave him $200 especially for gas prices and he had to go pick up supplies. Well, he weed whacked everything instead and it splatter all over the white painted sidings of the new house. He offered to pressure wash and clean the sidings from the mess he created. He also offered to put down additional weed treatment to help control the weeds. He was late for the original Spring service (after I asked him to push the service an hour later). He was a no-show on Saturday to cleaning up weed clippings splattered over the sidings. I had to call him multiple times and he said his customer unexpectedly requested mulch installation and said he can come by at 8am on Sunday. Today, He was a no-show today. I had to call him and he woke up at 10am. He was still a no show after multiple calls. Very disappointed. I wasted almost half my day waiting. Lots of excuses. I understand life happens but lack of communication and method of weed removal was the final straw. Off to continue to find my go-to lawn service person. Initial service in Oct 2025 was 5/5. Follow-up Mar 2026 service 2/5. Do not recommend.

I receive bi-weekly basic lawn service and am always impressed with how quickly they work and still produce a great job. I live in Spanish Oaks, so our backyard is quite rugged with a steep slope. This doesn't cause any issues for them. I had one issue a few months ago regarding weeds but the customer service department for Top Choice is Top Notch ;) They called me back immediately, apologized, corrected the problem and reimbursed me for the visit. They are always very responsive to emails and text and are quick to make adjustments if I need them. I highly recommend!

They told us they'd be there on Tuesdays. They were there whichever day worked for them. They charged per bag for bagging leaves which we didn't even want them to do (we actually like fireflies). Our lawn would get really long with no sign of them sometimes. Other times, we'd wonder what they were even mowing. Right now, I'm trying to enjoy my backyard on Memorial Day but I can't through the noise while they're at my neighbor's house ON A HOLIDAY! I hate this company.

My security cameras confirmed they mowed my front and back lawn in less than 6 minutes one visit. They would be in such a rush they would just park their truck in the middle of the street, blocking traffic, jump out, mow and go. The final straw was them only showing up 3 of the last 9 scheduled visits, with no warning or explanation (this was prior to all the rains). When I cancelled service they did not inquire why, or try to rectify.
