I can always count on her efficient staff with reminder calls and answering any billing questions promptly. I had interactions with 4 different people that day all 4 four were great! Help at home and treated me as family not just another customer. First person was the receptionist, young girl with glasses, helped me fill out forms and answered questions about my insurance coverage. Second person was the lady in the back that blew air into my eyes. Third person was the eye doctor, talked story and made me feel at ease when doing the whole " 1 or 2" exam. And last person I had during the experience was the lady with her side computer that informed me of all my different payment options, and covered in great details about the glasses and work safety glasses my insurance covered, End of the day this is the only place I will be going for all my eye needs.

I reviewed on yelp. Then decided to give them a call. I first talked to Lisa on the phone. She was able to answer all of my many questions on the spot. I inquired about contacts and my benefits. Their availability was pretty good where they could see me right away. Being that it was my first time, I was running late and had to call twice to find the location. But it was Google Map's fault haha. Lisa gave me perfect directions. When I got there, they didn't treat me as if they were irritated that I was late. They were very understanding. Dr. Miwa and Lisa are so genuine, caring and honest. Dr. Miwa is very thorough when it comes to the care of my eyes. He's a long time optometrist in the Aiea/Pearl City community. When I choose providers for me, the one thing that is so important to me is how I'm treated and if I feel respected and valued. Mr. Mina's office makes me feel very valued.
