It was delicious! I ordered a dozen oysters and let me tell you, it was probably some of the freshest, plumpest, and juiciest oysters that we've ever had in the states. You can tell if an oyster isn't fresh if it smells or tastes fishy but there was absolutely no fishy aftertaste or smell at all. The oysters were pretty big too!!! It came with crackers, horseradish, lemons, and cocktail sauce. Each bite was so delightful and we all agreed that the oysters were the star of the show. I had a hard time finishing my dozen because the oysters were huge and I was getting full! My husband and brother both had the gumbo and they both loved it as well. My friend had the beef carpaccio and she said it was super fresh and delicious as well. The prices were on the pricier wide but honestly, the quality of the food justifies it. Parking can get a bit busy so I suggest you come early for parking. We were able to snag a spot up front but I can see why this place is super busy! We also ordered a side of French fries to share, and let me just say... we ate those so fast that I completely forgot to take a picture! They were good! I also like the whole seafood boil experience here. They offer you a bib and gloves if you want them, which definitely comes in handy when you're getting into those crab legs. The service has been good every time we've visited, and the atmosphere is always lively. One of the coolest things happened after we had finished eating. Someone came around offering little samples for people to try, and they stopped by our table and asked if we wanted to try the soft-shell shrimp. I'm not sure if it's something new on the menu or just something they were serving as a sample, but we said yes -- and I'm so glad we did! That shrimp was delicious! It literally melted in my mouth. I'm usually not a big fan of eating anything with the shell still on, but this was so good that I didn't even mind it.
