My daughters main goal when we were in New Orleans was to have a seafood boil! I checked Yelp and we decided to go with Boil Seafood House. It was further away than I had anticipated, but we took the on/off bus and got off close to the restaurant and we ubered back. I'm glad we went out of the French Quarter because it was not as busy. Our waitress was very attentive and very knowledgeable and helpful to us as we did not know how to eat the crawfish! We split a 1lb, we opted for the heads off the shrimp (and would opt for that again) and we got medium heat! Everything was AMAZING!!! I wish we had done more crab and less crawfish, but I can't complain! We cleaned our plate!!! I highly recommend!

If you're looking for authentic New Orleans-style seafood, Boil Seafood House is definitely worth a visit. The seafood is always fresh, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. Their Cajun seasoning is rich, buttery, flavorful, and perfectly balanced without being overwhelming. What impressed me the most is that they're now using locally sourced Gulf shrimp. The shrimp are incredibly fresh, naturally sweet, and have a firm, juicy texture that makes a huge difference. You can tell they're not frozen imports. The charbroiled oysters are also outstanding. They're cooked to perfection--tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. I also highly recommend their new Vietnamese Cajun crawfish, which combines bold Cajun spices with a delicious Vietnamese twist. Whether you're craving shrimp, crawfish, crab, oysters, or a seafood boil with friends and family, this place delivers an authentic Louisiana experience. The portions are generous, the food is consistently delicious, and the service is warm, attentive, and very professional. I'll definitely be coming back!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND BOIL SEAFOOD HOUSE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CLEAN AND SAFE RESTAURANT!!!! service was terrible and the staff was overworked and seemed to have little help. Ac vents were leaking on our table as we were eating. I'm pretty sure I saw mold in the ceiling and walls and roaches crawling around the floor. Overall terrible experience and would not recommend eating there for any type of seafood especially because of the dirty environment.

Amazing food ! Coming out of town and knew I wanted to have some seafood and boy was this was a hit!!

Unfortunately, my phone does not eat first, but I'm sure this photo is a good review in of itself.

Unsweet tea is offensively bad. whole family got into argument over whether they served us water or not, I checked, it's tea: barely. But to drink it and wonder if you even got what you ordered? That's bad. Service was great. Waitress was friendly and super hospitable. We got some extra food and stuff and she was amenable to many of our specific requests. Food was awesome! We all enjoyed our crawfish boil. I recommend!

I watched this spot on Facebook food groups for a couple weeks! All the experiences I saw proved to be true! Amazing flavors. The food is amazing. Our server, Remy, was the best! She was informative, attentive and so fun! The space is quaint and cozy. Great for couple, double dates and groups of 10! I'll be back for sure!!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! You have to go here during crawfish season and get down on them. They were so fresh and perfectly juicy. I'm from CA and we have the infamous Boiling Crab and this was equally as good, maybe better. Cajun medium is the perfect heat and the way to go. Friendly staff to be around while sucking on those crawfish heads.

Best boils EVER. Three years ago on a work trip I stumbled upon this place. Loved it then. Imagine how happy I was to find it again this trip. I took my family who all love a good boil. There was NOTHING left on the table when we were finished. My husband, who has traveled the world, said it was the best he's ever had. The place is clean, quirky and service is great.

Big shrimp boil girl here and knew my last meal of NOLA had to be a big bowl of shrimp. We shared a single pound of head on shrimp with Cajun sauce, medium heat, added corn and potatoes. Flavor was good, nice amount of heat, definitely could've used more sauce for dipping and reapplying. Served with a cold ice tea made a great meal before leaving. Service was very friendly, quick ( luckily beat the lunch and dinner rush coming late afternoon) and easy parking in the area. Overall a good meal, still did not beat my favorite spot in LA but great conclusion to my week of New Orleans feasting.

Holy moly! THAT's how ya do a boil. Hubby got the huge bowl, kiddo a smaller selection, and I had crab cakes. Succulent. Tender. Flavorful. And the BEST wait staff a family could ask for!! Highly recommend.

BOIL Seafood is the place if you're looking to try NOLA seafood! Their gator bites were delicious! The chargrilled oysters were coated in parmesan and garlic butter which a great flavor! The Catfish basket with Cajun fries and hushpuppies were crispy. Outstanding service!

OMG ... I wish I had the stomach to finish the seafood bucket, it was soooo good! The seasoning, the shrimp, the crab, the customer service ...5 's! I've had seafood boils before but the Cajun and flavor of New Orleans is unmatched, I'd highly recommend. The place is real down to earth so you feel cozy!

Chargrilled New Orleans Char Oysters @nhueats_ soooo good!

BOIL Seafood House Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - BOIL Seafood House

    Do they have happy hour?

    Monday through Friday 3-5pm!

Do they have outdoor seating? Can you reserve it?

We went on Sunday (2/5) and didn't see any out door seating in the entrance. I do see they have a section upstairs outside. Maybe that's a possibility?

The app is not allowing me to reserve for 2 people. It's allowing me to reserve for 3+ people. Is this the restaurant's policy or system glitch?

It did the same for us, we just reserved for 2 and they seated us when we got there with no questions asked.

Do they take reservations? If so , wheres the link or forum. I've called and haven't received a reply. Hopefully that's not a sign to pass on this place!

I believe my sister did it through there website but only 6 people at a time.

Throw me something Mr. Hieu D! Why should I try BOIL over Daisy Dukes, a favorite I have visited many times with never a complaint? Although U have pledged to improve, common complaints still show for BOIL. Will U give good reasons 2 try BOIL?

Boil's flavor should seal the deal. The portions, seasoning and perfect flavor sold me. I have seen all of the reviews. Most seem to be from People that prefer on style of…

Are the seafood boils dairy free? (No butter, milk, cheese, cream, etc)

There's butter but I believe you can require no butter and it'll be honored.

Are the pots big enough to share?

Yes!! We order one to share and it was more than enough

How hot is extra high sauce?

I am sure it depends on the flavor you pick. If you do the Boil House flavor with Extra High I am sure it will be Very Very Spicy if you are not accustomed to some heat and Very Spicy if you like some heat.

The Vintage - New Orleans, LA…read more The Vintage on Magazine Street was our very first food stop in New Orleans, and it turned out to be a great way for my wife and me to start our trip. From the moment we walked in, I really liked the atmosphere. The place has a cool, relaxed New Orleans vibe with a little bit of an upscale café feel without being overly fancy. It's the kind of spot where you can come in, sit down, enjoy some good food and drinks, and just take your time. Of course, we couldn't come to New Orleans and not start things off with beignets! We decided to go with the Fancy Beignet Flight, which gave us a chance to try several different flavors. We got the raspberry, s'mores, and Chantilly. They came out looking almost too good to eat, covered in powdered sugar with all the different fillings and toppings. Almost... because we definitely ate them! They were warm, sweet, messy in the best possible way, and a fun introduction to our New Orleans food adventure. For my meal, I ordered the Italian Panini with the truffle Parmesan fries. The sandwich was packed with meat, cheese, and flavor. Looking at that cross-section, they definitely weren't being stingy with the fillings! The bread was toasted nicely, and everything worked well together. The truffle fries were another highlight. They had plenty of seasoning and Parmesan and paired perfectly with the sandwich. I also grabbed a small iced mocha, which went really well with the food and especially the beignets. One thing I really enjoyed about The Vintage was the atmosphere. The interior has a lot of character, from the marble tables and vintage-style flooring to the bar and pastry display. It feels like a place that belongs on Magazine Street. It was comfortable enough that we didn't feel rushed and could just enjoy being in New Orleans together. The service was good during our visit, and everything came together for a really enjoyable first meal in the city. Our bill came to around $48 after tax and tip for the two of us, and considering we had a sandwich, upgraded fries, drinks, and the beignet flight, I thought it was a good experience for the money. Most importantly, this place gave my wife and me a great start to our New Orleans trip. When your first stop includes a loaded Italian panini, truffle Parmesan fries, iced coffee, and a whole flight of beignets, you know the trip is starting off right! Definitely a place I would visit again. Great food, great atmosphere, and a great first taste of New Orleans. 5 stars from us!

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!
