Saurkruat soup & kielbasa sausage app with rye bread..OMG

We frequent here to play pool and eat good food!! They have daily specials as well as rotating sausages. Their sausages are so good. They are grilled to perfection and bursting with flavor! They have a spicy mustard to use and I recommend it! Their sauerkraut soup is delicious if you are into it. We are! The service is always attentive and the happy hour is decent as well. They play all the avs games but if you want to see one you should get there early. It gets busy. The prices are very fair as well compared to other restaurants on Broadway. Check it out!

A hidden gem in Denver! Found this place after a baptism. Amazingly friendly staff and great food. Very good for families even though it is a sports bar. The Gulas was great and my wife loved the chicken paprika. Will definitely come back next time we're in Denver.

My friend and I were in Denver on a lil vacay and we happened to walk by this place. Being from Nola, we are both suckas for a random bar. We had never been to a Czech bar so why the hell not?! It was a quaint spot right off a busy street. The bartender was friendly..dont remember where he was from but had a great accent. It was fairly empty so we ordered a couple of beers and they came out fast. After reviewing a menu of items we have NEVER tasted we went with the DABELSKE TOPINKY. It was a spicy ground beef dish that had a really great, unique flavor. They were out of the garlic that usually goes on top..wish I wasnt told how great the dish is with it. Anywho..the dish was really good and paired well with a local beer.

Traveling for vacation we were fortunate enough for there to be an avalanche playoff game and we went looking for local bars putting on the game. We found the perfect spot! The game was the only thing on all the screens and every person in there was screaming for their local team. It was amazing! The food is Czech and was awesome! We got the beef in gravy and the full schnitzel, I loved both! The beer came in game perfect sizes and was the best pairing for the food. We got some free avalanche swag to end the big win!! It was a great night for us!

Best hockey bar in Denver. I always get the Czech garlic dip and a Czechvar beer. Go Avs!

Good food, fairly priced drinks with daily specials, decent service. If you're a hockey fan this bar is a good place.

Best place for cheap beer, czech food, and Saturday night karaoke! Also gets rowdy for Avs games, soccer games. Tons of TVs and pool tables.

Fun bar but the bartenders are too slow/there are too few of them so it takes forever to get a drink.

Maybe 1/4 artichoke, and the rest was full of cheese and spinach. If you like cheese, then get this item. However, if you are looking for that artichoke taste, skip it. We also ordered their salad, and that was the only item that I finished. Their pizza is terrible. They poured Parmesan on top of our pizza. That's a no-no. We will add it ourselves if we wanted it. Something is also wrong with the crust too. I guess there are restaurants where they don't know how to make a good pizza. Service? What service, they were only interested in serving those people who are drinking and ordering alcohol drinks. As for diners like ourselves, they did not take care of us. Unfortunately, we went when the soccer game was being broadcasted, so there goes the ambience: loud and noisy. Turn and run away from this place.

Unfortunately, the Caesar salad was way too overdressed for our taste, and the egg rolls were served cold, which was a letdown. Service was okay, but you could tell our server was juggling a lot since he was the only one on the floor besides the bartender. The atmosphere had a fun sports bar vibe that we enjoyed, making it a decent spot to catch a game. Overall, it had its ups and downs, and while we loved some things, there were areas that could use improvement.

We arrived for lunch on a Wednesday, ordered & paid at the bar then found a table. Our food was brought out to us. The staff was friendly & personable. I had the Mexican Street Corn Dip, French Onion Soup & the Harvest Salad. The dip was delicious... it was made with sweet corn, chipotle mayo, lime cream, cotija, hot Cheeto dust, cilantro & served with chips. However, I would have liked it a little more spicy. The soup was classic comfort food at it's best. It had caramelized onions in a savory rich broth, topped with gooey melted Swiss cheese & a toasted baguette, it was fantastic. And just as wonderful was the salad, made with squash, walnuts, dried cherries, green apple & goat cheese tossed in a great vinaigrette. This was a fun lunch with terrific food!

The reason to come here though is not for the food, but the vibe when it's busy, and most importantly, the view of the front range. Here's what happened: I came in last night with a group of friends and had a Monster Energy drink in my front pocket. It wasn't taken at the door, so I forgot about it until I noticed it while playing at the beer pong table. I cracked it open without thinking much of it. Christian came around bussing glasses and took the Monster from me. I assumed it was a mistake at first, but he told me I couldn't have it inside -- fair enough. I asked if I could take it outside or leave it somewhere. He said he'd hold it behind the bar for me to pick up when I left. That seemed reasonable, and I thanked him. When I came to grab it on my way out, he tossed it in the trash instead. When I asked why, he pulled it back out and slowly poured it into the trash, yelling that I wasn't supposed to have it in there and accusing me of sneaking it in. The whole thing felt like he was trying to provoke me into a confrontation. It was humiliating -- not just for me, but honestly for the bar too, especially in front of a crowd. There are so many better ways this situation could have been handled. It's unfortunate, because the rest of the staff were friendly and professional, and I genuinely like the arcade bar itself. To ownership: Please take note -- this employee needs support, training, or possibly a different role that doesn't involve direct customer interaction.
