Super cute coffee shop with really good coffee, a nice selection of pastries, plenty of outdoor seating, and fast friendly service.

    Welcome to Lefty's Coffee Co.

Lefty's Coffee Co. is a charming little coffee house located at heart of a tiny town of Los Olivos. They have a good coffee and tea list as well as some pastries. Its interior decor was really lovely with their own little bookstore at the back. I made a quick stop here to grab a Hot Latte for my road back to LALALAnd. And it was sublime. They have front and back outdoor seats. Similarly, they have a robust wifi for customers. Prices were competitive. Service was top notch. I reckon this coffee shop is the best in the area. As for parking, only street parking is available. I think this coffee house is a good place to chill with friends, your Russian female lover, and read a book. Furthermore, they have Open mic on certain days. So get entertained. Overall, this is a nice little house coffee shop in wine country. I recommend them.

I was telling my mom about how I've been wanting to try Lefty's Coffee Co so we decided to stop prior to the SY Valley Pride! We came around 9:30 in the morning. It was easy to find parking on the street where the shop is. It's a cute cafe with plenty of seating. They have some books for sale alongside the menu and ordering area. I decided to opt for a dirty horchata latte and a chocolate muffin. My mom got a vanilla latte and a cheesy pretzel. We took a seat whilst waiting for our order. After a few short minutes, everything was ready! My horchata latte had a balanced sense of sweetness, cinnamon, and espresso. First, I tried the chocolate muffin which was very delicious! It had this sort of chewiness that I think stems from it's gluten-free quality. Next, I tried the cheesy pretzel. It was warmed up and so good! It was salty and greasy but not too much of either thankfully. It really balanced with the bready pretzel for a yummy, savory treat. Overall, I really enjoyed what I got to try at Lefty's. Admittedly, once my mom and I were walking to our car I asked her if everyone working seemed really serious. She said she thought it was just her imagination. For clarity, nobody was rude! The cashier was helpful when I had some questions about the baked goods. My mom said it just seemed jarring how serious everyone seemed juxtaposed with the cutesiness of the shop. Nonetheless, I'm definitely interested in coming back and trying more goods!

I really like this place a lot. It's a cool coffee spot a few steps off the main drag of wine tasting places. It's located along a residential block and has a small seating area inside plus a large patio area on the backside of the cafe where leashed dogs are welcome. I ordered a hot dirty horchata and a cinnamon roll which I requested be warmed up. We sat out in the quiet patio area on this brisk morning to enjoy our coffees. They have some picnic tables and wooden folding chairs out there but we chose to sit in low-to-the-ground mesh chairs. The dirty horchata had a good cinnamon flavor which was vivid but didn't overpower the taste of what is a good, quality roast. The cinnamon roll was fresh, soft, and cinnamony. I guess I was in a cinnamon mood that morning. I probably wouldn't have found this hidden place if not for Yelp and the review by Les S. so thanks for that!

Really cool place. Sells books. I got a honey bear latte which was good. Really liked the outdoor space and decor throughout the coffee shop.

Best coffee and pastries in Los Olivos! Came for the lemonade and the granola (my favorite things on the menu), stayed for the open mic. The back patio is so cozy and dog friendly and everyone who works there is so friendly. They also have a little book shop with great selections. More than just a coffee shop, it's a community!!

Lefty's is one of the favorite spots in the valley. Love the coffee and the customer service. Karina is always friendly and the drinks always are delicious. My go to is a lavender latte. Best part of lefty's is that you can buy a book as well and enjoy it with your coffee. Their book corner has great selections.

Great ambiance. Great place to stop. Has a nice relaxing outdoor backyard area with chill music piping through. Our second time here on our drive back home to LA. Expresso was nice and strong.

You order inside at the counter, get a number, and they bring everything out to you. The menu is full of delicious, bready dishes, and I loved that they offer a wide selection of coffee drinks -- even matcha. You can find macchiatos, cortados, and more here. We ordered the egg in a jar with toast soldiers, a baguette sandwich, a matcha latte, a cappuccino, and of course a chocolate croissant to go as a sweet treat for the road. If I could afford the calories of eating bread every day, I'd be here daily. Every bread item we tried was incredible. The croissant was buttery and flaky, exactly as it should be. The baguette sandwich had the perfect balance of crunch and softness. And the toast soldiers were the ideal size and texture for scooping up the cheesy, creamy, eggy goodness in the jar. We visited on a Monday and it wasn't too busy. Staff was very friendly. If I lived closer, I'd be grabbing fresh bread from here all the time. A must‑stop for any bread lover exploring the area.
