We love Los Olivos and Fig Mtn is a perfect place to spend an afternoon. We stopped here before lunch at nearby Bar le Cote (which is also absolutely amazing!) They have the most attractive can art and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They often have live music and food trucks outside. Plenty of seating indoor, outdoor and shaded!

Great beer horrible service. Bartender was cold. Didn't ask if we wanted a second drink. Sat and felt ignored.

Super cute beer bar off Main Street. Indoor & outdoor seating. Beer exceptionally good. Cold and tasty. The only problem is no food because they had a problem in the kitchen. And we had to wait for the bar server to finish her personal conversation so she could wait on us. Yelp needs half stars because this place really deserves a 3 1/2stars. Sports on TV.

Stopped by on the way to Paso and was pleasantly surprised at how cool this location was. The bar inside was lively, the staff was very attentive and welcoming, and the outside grass area was very relaxing. Beer was great, got some carnitas nachos outside and had a nice break from being cooped up in the car. Really enjoyed the visit here and didn't want to leave. Will definitely be making a return visit in the future

Food from The Figueroa trick was great. Hoppy Poppy IPA was amazing, refreshing. The bartender was super cool dude. I'm sure the wineries in the area are the big tourist draw but for me, it's always best with beer. The ambiance was great, welcoming, casual, just chill.

Take home draught in a can and crack it open later for ultimate freshness!

Los Olivos is home to the finest culinary and wine offerings in the Valley. Quiet and quaint, this town is small but mighty. I had imagined this place to be a sit down restaurant with servers and a generous array of beers on tap. This is partly true. I found it to be more of a neighborhood watering hole, with the food actually coming from a food truck as opposed to an attached kitchen. The structure of this restaurant is a converted house. While I don't mind food trucks, I find it off putting to see runners traveling back and forth from the truck to the bar delivering food. Can't imagine the food is hot. This is just me. This place was really fun to grab a quick drink though. Alternative garage music blaring, this bar's seating area is majority outside so be sure to dress weather appropriate. Our main purpose was to stop by to grab some draught beers in a can to go, to give as Christmas gifts. They insert a special bead "widget" in the can and add nitrogen to the beer, to maintain freshness. Sweet! They also offer a house Chardonnay, Cabernet and a Pinot, which were pretty solid labels that particular day. I saw several kids and dogs. Our dog loved the water bowls positioned all throughout the grounds. Restrooms were pretty clean. Apparently bathrooms are very hard to come by in Los Olivos according to local merchants so this is actually a huge plus. I'd definitely recommend this bar for serious beer enthusiasts. I was told our gifts of draught beers in a can were a huge hit. We enjoyed our time here and look to try the food in the future if our circumstances allow.

Hands down best pretzel ever! Piping hot, with the right amount of salt and ohhhh the butter. The beer was ice cold and so many options.

Had a beer and sat outside at the Fig (as the locals say). Family friendly with a laid back atmosphere in the little town of Los Olivos.

The place is casual and not tiny, but it definitely fills up. I don't think they were taking walk-ins while we were there. The tasting room--or tasting patio, I suppose--was really pleasant, a breezy outdoor space in front of a charming brick-red house with a strong Los Olivos aesthetic. My only complaint is that the bathroom was a porta-potty, though it was the nice kind, with running water. We got our own table and a friendly, knowledgeable young server brought us our wines and explained what we were drinking. He was busy, so this was one of the less in-depth tastings we did on this trip, but the experience was easy and enjoyable. There were two tastings on offer, the classic estate flight and the "fresh and esoteric." Since this was our first visit, we both went with the estate, and it was a great introduction to Stolpman's wines. We tried the 2025 Sauvignon Blanc, the 2024 Chenin Blanc, the 2024 La Cuadrilla, the 2023 Sangiovese, and the 2024 Angeli, the label's flagship Syrah. They were all excellent and very well priced--the Cuadrilla goes for $26. It's also a delicious wine with a cool provenance, a red blend made by Stolpman's vineyard workers on a designated block, in what looks to be a successful profit sharing project. The tasting fee was $25, waived with a three-bottle purchase. We snapped up three each of the Sauvignon Blanc and the Sangiovese, which cost $24 and $36 a bottle. Tremendous value for such outstanding wines. I have a feeling we'll go through these quickly, and may be tempted to join the wine club if we do. Either way, though, I hope to go back to Stolpman. I'm definitely curious about that second tasting.

The restaurant decor is nice, though nothing special, with a sizeable patio for outdoor dining. We started with a couple of local wines by the glass. The wine list here is heavily biased towards local wines as one would expect from a wine country restaurant. Kudos for the local focus! The menu here is wine country, farm-to-table and the restaurant even has their own organic farm a short distance away where they source ingredients. For dinner we started with the beet salad special served over a citrus yogurt. For main courses we had the grilled rack of lamb and a quinoa bowl with salmon. Every dish was expertly prepared and delicious. The fruits and veggies were exceptionally fresh being sourced directly. David was our server and coincidentally was our server at a wine tasting earlier in the day. His service and that from the supporting team were professional and friendly. I give this restaurant my highest recommendation!

The positive first: walking in everybody was super friendly and greeted us with a smile, and sat us down right away on the patio since we had our dog with us. We ordered the baked brie appetizer and two glasses of red wine. My husband had the Austin Hope Cab and I had a red blend. I don't remember the brand name. It was a little bit expensive for a glass of wine. I wanna say around $25 but we both were in the mood for a good wine and wanted to treat ourselves. The baked Brie was delicious. Negative: the fish and chips and the service. I was so excited to see fish and chips on the menu because it was halibut. I'm used to cod in fish and chips so of course I had to order since I am a huge halibut lover. The table next to us also said what an amazing meal that was and ordered one to go. We received our fish and chips from not our server and the person dropped the meal and left without asking us if we needed anything. My husband and I looked at the fish and chips and immediately started laughing. It looked like little fish nuggets as opposed to fish! I kind of thought we were being punked. We waited and waited for the server to come by or a manager or some thing and could not get anybody to come talk to us. It took 14 minutes for her to finally come tap on our table and ask if everything was OK. We told her it was not OK and to look at the size of the fish and she said she would go tell the kitchen and asked if we wanted to remake it. At that point, we weren't even hungry anymore. We were just kind of annoyed at the entire situation. She comes back out a few minutes later and says we're going to take it off of your bill. We don't see her for a while and then the manager comes over and says we took it off of your bill. He didn't ask if there's any way to make it right he just said OK anyways and walked away at the end. Being in the restaurant industry for many years, I thought this was pretty offensive. If I were him, I probably would have made another one right away or offered something they are known for like their pizza. So overall, I wouldn't be back. I think there's many other restaurants around there and to be treated like that after how we were served....no thank you!

Came in on a Friday early afternoon and had the best time because of the staff! We had plans to visit other wineries but pivoted once we realized how much we liked it there. We started with the Chip Tasting that pairs wine chips with their wine. The idea is fantastic but the chips were not our favorite. I would recommend a lighter crispier chip to pair with their amazing wines, these are too dense with fake flavors that tasted off. We had a cheese plate which was premade but still wonderful! Great cheeses and exactly what we needed to remove the memory of the chips. We bought a bottle and one of their candles poured into a wine bottle on our way out. It smells amazing!
