I need another flight of cupcakes. I totally enjoyed, Enjoy Cupcakes. They were perfectly sized, moist and lavish in flavor and decor. Perfect quantity in earth friendly packaging. Los Angeles County needs and Enjoy Cupcakes.
We engaged Amber to create a small wedding cake and 3 flavors of mini cupcakes for our wedding in Santa Barbara. The cake was beautiful and exactly as we pictured. The mini cupcakes were a complete hit! I've had several guests ask about the bakery. Enjoy Cupcakes has become our go-to vendor for all special occasion desserts. Highly recommended!
BEST TASTING WEDDING CAKE we have ever had! Guests are still raving. My daughter ordered Pumpkin, Carrot & Lemon Curd w/Blueberry frosting. They were all equally fabulous. Moist, and flavorful. I brought an extra slice for the way home & was the best breakfast with a cup of coffee . Amber is a delight to work with & highly recommend Enjoy Cupcakes!
These are my favorite cupcakes I have to get everything I take a trip to Los Olivos! They have over 500 flavors and their menu changes weekly, or they were doing it by-weekly when the pandemic hit. They have a six pack of the different flavors and they are located inside the Sarloos and sons winery. If you are wine tasting you can also pair your cupcakes with the wine. Enjoy
I can't say enough good things about this place. I went wine tasting with my toddler and we shared the cupcake flight and I had a glass of wine and we were both happy as can be. Yes, they have easy seating and the best cupcakes. We even tried their mini flights at a wedding and can't stop talking about it. I always bring friends here when we are wine tasting in the Valley because the wine pairs well with the cupcakes. The syrah chocolate with the blackberry seems to be the winner, but I easily think the other special options are my fav. Plus, if you are craving some cupcakes, you can always stop at the location in the Public Market in downtown Santa Barbara. Go take your designated drivers here and stop at the lemonade stand here!!!!!
While I can enjoy cupcakes, they are not a big thing for me, probably because I don't like frosting. I only bought a flight of these because I'd heard good things about it. This time they weren't sold out (I got the last one). All I can say is wow. The frosting is delicious, it's probably my favorite part of the cupcake. They are very small cupcakes so that's probably let's me eat all of them and it. Also the middle of the cupcakes has sauce. They thing I wish they were more balanced with flavors. Would be nice if they had more fruity flavors. More half/half.
OK, I thought the gourmet cupcake thing had run its course. I used to frequently visit Georgetown and stand amazed at the 50 plus people in line for Georgetown Cupcake. Enjoy is taking the art of the mini cupcake in a new direction, and I found it delightful. $11 for 6 minis in a half of an egg carton? For a unique and divine wine country treat, yes sir. To pair with wine tastings? We cheated. We are members of a couple of wine clubs. So we took our cupcakes to go and paired our whites with our whites and our reds with our reds at that winery's country outdoor setting. With our free wine tasting. Don't get me wrong. The little winery tasting room housing Enjoy is adorable and looks very fine. Every little mini was special...an $11 splurge so enjoyed.

I recommend a "flight" so you can try different flavors. She has 3 rotating flavors weekly (used to be 6). I also suggest ordering the flavors in the "baby cake" style to share with a partner as a tasty dessert. The cookiewiches are also very good (but very sweet!). I prefer the sugar cookies with buttercream frosting. You can't go wrong with enjoy! Pick up a prepackaged flight of mini cupcakes at Los Olivos (during covid times) or preorder a customized order through their website!

Their cupcake offerings are fresh and changes weekly. Tried everything from a Chocolate Blackberry Syrah (their signature flavor) to the Strawberry Honey Chardonnay. Unique alcohol-infused flavors and good quality. Moist and tasty. RATING: 4/5 OVERALL ======== If you still like cupcakes (the trend is not dead YET), this is a good pit stop for good-tasting cupcakes in a fun atmosphere. RECOMMEND.
I don't get it, what is so great about these cup cakes. Just ok overpriced dainty cup cakes for $2 each. There seems to be a lack of sanitation conveniences in Los Olivos. They have one nice bathroom here but it is not for the public, meaning you have to buy something to use it. Looks that way all over town and there is always a line no matter where you go.
I believe the word we are looking for is YUM. Or WOW.... Either shall suffice for describing the cupcakes I ate here. Enjoy Cupcakes takes two great things on earth - Wine and Dessert, and combines them to make interesting mixes of sweets that you can easily pop in your moth. They have a small "Storefront" that is attached to a winery's tasting room (had I known this I'd have gone later in the day so I could partake in both treats). We went here on the way home from our weekend at SB trip and were pleasantly surprised at the results. They are about as pricey as Sprinkles (which I still have to try) but they have a "flight" of cupcakes that you can try. all 6 flavors for $10. What a deal! On the way home, we couldn't help but try one and our original plan was to eat them all when we got there. As we were salivating with the remnants of the cupcake in our moth, we thought, "OH CRAP!!! We didn't take a picture!". They champagne cupcake we ate was delicious with a wonderfully pleasant hint of a sweet champagne (If I didn't know any better i'd say an Asti) with the moistness of the cupcake. So I could go on and on about the wondefulness that is the cupcakes from here, but I won't. I'll just say, if you're in the area of Solvang, ignore those sub par Danish Pastries you can get from a tin at Costco during Christmas season, and try these cupcakes! It's worth the 10 minute drive!
We were happy to have tried Enjoy Cupcakes at Saarloos, on a Monday which apparently isn't a day for cupcakes. We were told they are only served Thurs-Sunday. While they weren't my favorite cupcakes ever, they were moist and weren't bad, which is better than dry and bad any day. They were sold out of the "Ridiculous" but we did try the 5 others and doubled up on the three remaining flavors in the flight we purchased to-go. Blueberry Lime Chardonnay and Chocolate Blackberry Syrah are the two I remember standing out to me. I'm a berry lover so this makes perfect sense :) These were surely the highlight of our tasting at Saarloos although they were merely an addition and I was unsure to if the flavors paired specifically to our wine tasting, I don't think they do. If you have a sweet tooth I definitely wouldn't rule out swinging by to purchase a flight. The price seems is completely reasonable $10 for 6. They are mini size and most full size cupcakes will run you on average $3.25. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely check out what flavors they have.

Stopped by here while wine tasting and was craving something sweet. These cupcakes were uniquely flavored, moist, and delicious! It's amazing how they've made so many different flavors to date, including wine-flavored ones. I bought a flight of mini-cupcakes for $10. They change their menu weekly. My flight consisted of Chocolate Blackberry Syrah, Lavendar Lime Chardonnay, Salted Maple Dark Chocolate Pecan, Peanut Butter Banana Toffee, Triple Vanilla, and Raspberry Creme Brulee. I enjoyed all of them, especially the Lavendar Lime Chardonnay one because it had such a delicious and unique flavor. Each mini-cupcake could be paired with wine at Saarloos + Sons (same location) for an additional price, but we opted out of this since we just had a day of wine tasting. I would definitely stop by here if I'm ever back in the area. It's great that there are new flavors every time you visit. read more
I tried the following 6 cupcakes in the $10 mini cupcake sampler: chocolate peanut butter, chocolate cookie dough with caramel drizzle, watermelon, raspberry watermelon, Chardonnay with lime frosting and sea salt, and a churro with cinnamon one. Apparently my memory was a bit fuzzy because here are the official descriptions from the Enjoy Cupcake website: Chocolate Blackberry Syrah (Signature Treat - Always here): Chocolate syrah cake, filled with dark chocolate fudge, topped with blackberry frosting and a syrah soaked blackberry that's rolled in sugar crystals Cadillac: Chardonnay cake, filled with lemon lime curd, topped with grand marnier frosting and sweet & salty lime zest Strawberry Churro: Vanilla cake, filled with strawberries & cream, topped with cinnamon frosting & a churro disc Chocolate Peanut Cobbler: Chocolate, peanut cobbler cake, filled with peanut butter mousse, topped with chocolate glaze Raspberry Watermelon: Vanilla cake, filled with raspberry watermelon curd, topped with raspberry frosting Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough: Chocolate cake, filled with chocolate chip cookie dough, topped with vanilla frosting, chocolate chunks and brown sugar toffee sauce My favorite was definitely the Cadillac, which the shop owner said was made special for Cinco de Mayo. It wasn't very sweet, and the cake was perfect. Maybe due to the addition of Chardonnay? I also really liked the interplay between the tangy lime frosting and the sea salt crumbles on top. The raspberry watermelon was too sweet, but the chocolate chunk cookie dough with toffee sauce was pretty great too. The others weren't all that memorable. But at $10 for 6 mini cupcakes, or $2.50 for a single mini cupcake or $3.50 for a whole cupcake, the sampler is quite the steal. Actually, the more that I think about it, the more I am amazed at the skill of the baker who concocts these amazing little delights. The amount of detail that goes into putting fillings in the cupcake itself, piping the frosting, and then topping the whole thing off with little decorations shows a very delicate and artistic touch. My hat is off to the pastry artist! There's no way you can eat the whole thing by yourself. Or at least I don't recommend it. But it's great for sharing. Also, the egg cartons work surprisingly well at keeping the treats upright and from getting smushed. We didn't have a single mishap in transporting them from bag to Jeep to winery for our dessert after lunch. I would definitely recommend a stop at Enjoy Cupcakes. It's located inside and to the right in the Saarloos & Sons tasting "house" which I also recommend visiting. Saarloos has a really fun automatic picture-taking stand that is a lot of fun. And then you use an iPad to mail it to yourself! read more
Enjoy Cupcakes is located inside of Saarloos & Sons. A flight of 6 mini cupcakes is $10, and yes, they are delicious and moist and not overly sweet. Each cupcake had a little bit of cream filling and light cream on top. The owner was very nice when describing each cupcake to us. The best part for me was that we could take our cupcake flight to the wine tasting counter of Saarloos & Sons for a wine pairing (which I believe was $10 as well). It was a really fun experience and I would highly recommend it for anyone going to that area. Come early before they run out of cupcakes! If you get them to go, they pack them in egg carton boxes... Cupcakes that are made for wine pairings, genius!! All the flavors were really good AND worked well with the wine. I'm not a big wine drinker to begin with so the cupcakes really helped! 6 mini cupcakes for $10...you can choose whatever flavors you like if you don't want one of each for the wine pairings! We bought extra after to take home. :) Flavors of the Week - Cranberry Chardonnay: my favorite!!! - Rizogalo (Greek cinnamon rice pudding): good! - Chocolate Pumpkin Cheesecake: good! - Salted Blondie: good! tasted like salted caramel - Chocolate Blackberry Syrah: least favorite... too rich in chocolate for my taste - Dipped Oreo: good, the first time around... not so much when I had it again. WHY?????????????????????? Why is a word I frequently use when I'm at Enjoy Cupcakes, my all time favorite cupcake shop. Why are these cupcakes so damn good? Why are they so much better than any other cupcakes I've had? Why doesn't every cupcake shop put fillings in all their cupcakes? Why are their cupcakes cheaper than almost all other shops I've been too? (Not complaining) And WHY in the heck are they located in Los Olivos? Seriously! Los Olivos! When my GPS Bing took us the looong way through Solvang and Los Olivios to Andersen's Pea Soup, I thought of one person and thing only as soon as I saw the Solvang sign. Person: Craig R Thing: cupcakes! his proclaimed favorite cupcake place. Which is a HUGE statement coming from Mr. Cupcake With not much time to spare and spotty cell service for yelp searching, I phoned a friend and gave Craig a call. After the initial response of him hating me bc of jealousy for going there he handed over all the necessary info on how to get there. The original shop that he went has since closed but thank goodness for their second location just around the bend. We arrived, parked and started following the blue dot on google maps leading us to cupcakes. We passed the blue dot with no cupcake shop insight. And then we looked and saw children eating cupcakes so we walked into Saarloos & Sons and so a tiny cupcake case to the right with a single chalkboard menu on the wall and a single gent passing out cupcake treats. The Cupcake Flight seemed to be the choice of the day. This gave you all 6 flavors in mini versions for $10.00. I will not go into detail on the cupcakes we enjoyed as they do change. But what I will say is I was BEYOND impressed with the fine details that went into these mini cupcakes. Pretty amazing I say. Between the closed location in Solvang and the nearly hidden location in Los Olivos (and lack of reception didn't help), we nearly didn't get to enjoy your cupcakes. Tucked inside Saarloos & Sons is a vintage mirrored table filled with cupcakes. The place was packed with holiday wine tasters and cupcake eaters alike. We purchased the last flight of minis ($10) - our first of many flights on this trip. All were enjoyable, and I really savored the spiced pomegranate and peppermint cookies n cream. Flight: Lemon Marshmallow Chardonnay, Spiced Pomagranate, Cinnamon Caramel Cheesecake, Chocolate Blackberry Syrah, Peanut Butter Pecan, Peppermint Cookies N Cream. The detailing in these minis was absolutely remarkable. Each were carefully filled and topped with different frostings, ganaches, and garnishes. The pom even had fresh arils tucked inside the center for a surprise. read more
Hidden away inside Saarloos & Sons (wine tasting), it's easy to miss this little gem. But when Ciara G, Amy B and I were in the area and CG remembered this was Craig R's FAVE cupcake place, we were relentless! We parked down the road, next to a grassy field, and walked on the sidewalk-less street in search of the address. Luckily there was a sign with pictures of their Chocolate Blackberry Syrah cupcakes out front - because otherwise we wouldn't have known they were inside! Through the cute outside patio with painted wood chairs, and just inside the front door, we saw a crowd of people wine tasting near the fireplace, and more waiting to purchase cupcakes on the other side of this redone house. We scored the last flight of 6 minis, ($10) to share, woohoo! We tasted them like we would wine - lightest to heaviest: Lemon Marshmallow Chardonnay - light sweet lemony icing, filled into a light cake. I didn't detect chardonnay, it tasted like a great lemon mini - and is one of my faves! Spiced Pomagranate - pomagranate airils on top of pink icing and lightly spiced cake - and a surprise filling of more airils! The airils in the center were stuffed in after baking, too - NOT baked in, so they were still fresh and juicy! I enjoyed this one more than I expected! Cinnamon Caramel Cheesecake - a drizzle of caramel, cream cheese icing, soft cake, and a caramel cheesecake center! Yum! Ever so mildly cinnamony, this was one of my faves! Chocolate Blackberry Syrah - a sugared blackberry topped a berry icing, a syrah-flavored mild chocolate cake, and a center of chocolate ganache. This was tasty, but not one of my faves. Peanut Butter Pecan - peanut butter frosting, pecan crumbles and a caramel drizzle top a pecan praline-caramel-y filling, in a lightly chocolate cake. The frosting was the best part on this cupcake - it unfortunately had a slightly bitter and astringent aftertaste from the pecan skins. Peppermint Cookies N Cream - light chocolate cake with a very mild peppermint chocolate ganache center, oreo frosting, and peppermint candy crumbs on top. Really good! The perfect (mild) amount of peppermint, yummy ganache and frosting! Craig R knows his cupcakes!!! These were likely THE most lovingly created minis with the MOST details (cake, filling, frosting, drizzles or crumbles or berries) that I've EVER HAD! The real deal 'gourmet' cupcake. Thanks to Craig R. and cupcake list, I knew I had to come to Enjoy Cupcakes on our trip up to Solvang. Los Olivos is only a few minutes north of Solvang, still in the Santa Ynez valley, and I daresay my favorite town we visited while on our trip. It's cute, tiny, and if you like wine, a wine lovers paradise. Now I don't really care about wine that much, so I felt kinda dorky walking up and down the main street, which is filled to the brim with wine room tastings. But I was here for a reason. So we headed over to Sarloos and Son's, where Enjoy Cupcakes are housed. Cute and simple, there is one glass case with all the cupcakes on the menu for the week, and a friendly guy there to tell you every single thing you want to know about each cupcake. (I think he was the owner). After explaining everything about them, he suggested we get the Flight for $10.00. One of each of the cupcakes, in mini size. This we did. AMAZING. My absolute favorite was the lemon drop. Perfect. Vanilla cake, filled with fresh lemon curd, topped with lemon frosting and dusted with fine sugar. I also liked the Berry Chardonnay chardonnay cake, filled with raspberries & cream, topped with strawberry frosting, & berries. I think I'm a fruity kind of cupcake person, although the chocolate cupcakes were awesome, I find I always like fruity cupcakes the best. I think what I like the most about enjoy is that they aren't over powering. Most gourmet cupcakes are soooooo sugary. I can never finish a whole one. These were well made, very unique and fresh, and the frosting just flat out kicked asssssss. Getting the flight between two people, was the best way to try all the cupcakes, and not over stuff yourself or worry about not being able to eat them all. I suggest hoping across the street to the liquor shop to get a carton of milk to go with your cupcakes, unless you do a wine tasting at Sarloos. read more
Creme de la creme of cupcakes. I stumbled upon this delightful bakery during a gorgeous day of wine tasting and have been day dreaming of their luscious cupcakes creations ever since. The ultra-sleek and modern Saarloos & Sons Winery houses this hidden gem of a bakery. The two are separate businesses, but are intertwined by one of the most innovative concepts in food - wine tasting paired with cupcake tasting. A luxurious culinary idea that defies all logic until you see how it's done. Enjoy cupcakes captivated me not only with their creative and unique flavors, but their ability to take something that everybody enjoys and to do an honest, extraordinary job. Their weekly menu offerings rotate and consist of six different cupcakes, always including their signature treat (chocolate blackberry syrah), at least one new cupcake flavor that's being debuted that week, and a fun cupcake with flavors that appeal to the youngsters (and the young at heart!). And if that's not enough to rock your world, they've dreamed up over 200 sensational flavor creations! The cupcakes are available in regular or mini size, and if you plan on wine tasting, the minis are served in a "flight" to be paired with the wines. My two favorites of the trip were the chocolate blackberry syrah (signature treat) and the ginger lime chardonnay (most requested). The chocolate blackberry syrah is a sultry combination of dark chocolate and blackberry, topped with a wine soaked blackberry rolled in sugar crystals. The ginger lime chardonnay is light, refreshing and a perfect articulation of summertime. The cupcakes are melt-in-your-mouth brilliant. Each bite is a playful balance of taste and texture. Most of the cupcakes are filled with a pastry cream that really encompasses the overall flavor profile, making each bite the perfect ratio of decadent creamy goodness to fluffy cake undertones. The cake itself is airy and moist, and not overwhelming sweet, allowing the delightfully complex flavors to stand out. Saarloos & Sons and Enjoy cupcakes have created an amazing atmosphere built around the familiar idea of a "house". It's not just a bakery inside a winery. It's an old friend welcoming you into their home. I had an unforgettable experience here - sharing moments with good company, friends and strangers alike. I was charmed by a certain indescribable dimension of Enjoy cupcakes and taken aback by their fan base. During my brief stay, one customer returned 3 times to buy cupcakes. If that's not testimonial enough, I don't know what is. A few words for the wise: - Open Thurs-Sunday, 11-6 or until they sell out (which is usually well before 6pm). Get there early! - The crowd comes in waves, but the line moves quickly, so don't be discouraged by the line. It's worth the wait! - Go with the mini cupcake flight - it's enough to share between two people and you'll experience flavor combinations that will surprise your taste buds. Be prepared to be wowed by the Willy Wonka of Los Olivos. Be prepared to to put your diet aside. Be prepared to indulge in euphoria. Hired Enjoy Cupcakes for our wedding, and boy were they a hit with our guests! We ordered a variety of flavors, and had enough so everyone could have 3 cupcakes (but, we had plenty of leftovers). Our guests were really surprised; it added an extra dimensions to an already memorable experience. These are the absolute best cupcakes! You must get a flight or 2 for your wine tasting picnic! Mini cupcakes that come in an egg carton 6 for $10 All the flavors are always delicious. While planning for a wine tasting trip to Santa Ynez I heard about a wine and cupcake tasting. i LOOOVE cupcakes. mmm. however, the first time i came by they ran out!!! ooh the sadness. It was so disappointing we didn't even taste the wines at Saarloos and Sons. For my next trip i made sure we came bright an early so i could get some cupcakes. $10 for the weekly 6 cupcake flight. They had... - Mandarin Orange Ginger Chardonnay - very tasty. i loved the orange and ginger flavor - chocolate blackberry syrah - this the cupcake that they're famous for and it's there every week. it was delicious. i was sad that i had to share this with my bf. sharing a mini cupcake is hard you get about one bite and this one left me craving more. - Dream Bar - tasty chocolate hazelnut. always a great combo - Chocolate PB Pretzel - an interesting combination. could have used a little more PB. - Rizagalo - this one i was a little cautious about, but it ended up being surprisingly tasty. the cinnamon makes this one awesome - triple vanilla - i wasn't that impressed with this one, but then again i find vanilla kind of plain. And for $10 you can try them both. A cupcake flight will get you 6 mini cupcakes, which pair right along with your wine tasting from Saarlos & Sons. Genius. Their signature chocolate blackberry syrah cupcake is offered daily, and the other 5 flavors are switched out on a weekly basis. With over 250 delectable flavors to choose from, you'll probably never return to the same offerings. To give you an idea of how unique the flavors are, here are the 5 other cupcakes I tried: Pomegranate Chardonnay: Chardonnay cake with a meyer lemon pudding filling, cream cheese frosting, topped with pomegranate seeds, lemon zest & candy pink pearls Chocolate Caramel: Moist chocolate cupcake with gooey caramel core and topped with a lightly salted cream cheese caramel frosting and drizzled caramel Cookie Dough Mudslide: Chocolate cake over an oreo crust, "FULLY" filled with chocolate chip cookie dough, topped with kahlua frosting & ground up oreo Pumpkin Pie: Vanilla cake with a spiced fresh pumpkin pie filling, topped with pumpkin cream cheese frosting & buttery graham cracker crumbs Cinnamon Apple Chunk: Vanilla cake with chunks of honey crisp apples baked inside, filled with cinnamon pudding, topped with vanilla frosting & cinnamon sugar As you can see from the descriptions, the combination of cake, filling, frosting, and topping are innovative and carefully thought out.
