I've owned this 100-year-old house since it was a 70-year-old-house and, as you might imagine, we've had a few professionals at the house over the years and we've learned a bit. In this case, we needed to replace a natural gas hot water boiler and the water tank connected to it and we hired LCS. LCS had glowing reviews here on Yelp and I hoped they were true when we decided to hire them. I can say now that those reviews weren't glowing enough. LCS's attention to detail and their commitment to the quality of their work is amazing. Three anecdotes to give you a feel: 1) They were to arrive on day 1 of a 2-day installation at 8:30 am. They arrived at 8:33 and the first words out of their mouth were a sincere apology for being late. 2) At the end of the job, they found that the thermostat they had was not the one they ordered, and they asked to stop by the next day to install the correct one. While here the next day, they noticed a drip from the exhaust vent that that might possibly hint at a thing that, someday, in the exact wrong conditions, could possibly cause a problem with exhaust pressure. And they then spent the next 6 hours very, very, very slightly rerouting the exhaust to correct that fault. 3) Later that same day, at supper time, the new thermostat - which was working fine when they left - failed; it wasn't demanding heat. I called and they were back within 20 minutes with a new thermostat. The system has worked flawlessly since. These guys are a small locally owned small business. Just some guys trying to make a living. Jason, Jonathan and Patrick are the ones I know they're legitimate, honest, responsive professionals who are trying to do it right. Reward them. read more

LCS did a fantastic job replacing our old oil furnace and central air HVAC systems. From the first visit I could tell Jason knows his stuff. He explained everything in layman's terms and made sure I understood what was going to happen. After selecting LCS we were pleased in how quickly they were able to get the job scheduled and completed. Our new Heat pump system is so much better than the old oil system. Jason's initial consultation was rooted in his clear knowledge of the products and industry, but more importantly was low pressure. We couldn't be happier with our interactions with Jason and his crew. With this last cold snap 0 degrees, we called Jason cause our system needed to be adjusted. They came in that day and adjusted what needed to be done and came back and upgraded our system for free of charged with in days. Can I just start with saying, I am grateful every day that we chose Jason and his team at LCS to take care of us in terms of HVAC. We did the usual, and got three quotes for HVAC installation. Even though Jason's estimate was the top estimate (by a marginal difference), we were completely blown away with their knowledge, experience and professionalism. We were confident that they would take care of us and our historic home, and make the systems look as if they had always been there. Not only am I confident in the system LGS installed for us, but I can't say enough for how Jason continues to be easily accessible if I ever have any questions. He is there to troubleshoot with us through any technical difficulties with the face plate (personal user error), to following up and making sure that our problem has been resolved. all the reviews look too good to be true, right? but then you read them and realize that there are truly humans behind the reviews, not bots. so i reached out. got an automated text message (it was late night), but next day, the correspondence started - and you could tell these guys were legit. truly a human communicating, and with compassion. turns out the person texting (during business hours) is jason himself. he's the one who came by, too - which i was happy about given the rave reviews about him. and i can see why; he's truly awesome. he clearly knows what he's doing. and he's passionate about his work. it's always great to be with people who love what they're doing, and jason loves what he does. he fixed my issue super quickly, and didn't try to upsell; quite the opposite, actually. i think most people would happily pay a bit more for an honest person who does a good job and the right job. in my case, i got the honest person who is an expert at his job AND i paid less than i would have with others (BECAUSE he's honest and good). i joked with him afterwards that i'm almost glad my furnace stopped working, because then i got to meet him. but it's only a half-joke; it was seriously a pleasure having him over, and now i feel so reassured that i know someone i can count on if, God forbid, something HVAC-related happens. we are already on having him back at least yearly for maintenance, but also to check out some other potential projects we may want done - just because he's so good! now if i can find someone honest and good for cars in the area ... read more

I had a large old AC unit that was built into the wall of my house that stopped working right as the weather was warming up. I obtained 3 estimates on replacing the old wall unit with ductless units throughout the house. Jason from LCS showed up first and his customer service impressed me from the minute he walked in my door. I also liked the fact that this was a locally owned family company. When I received the estimates I found the price from LCS to be the most competitive for the top of the line unit that I wanted and in line with what I expected to spend. The other two estimates were offering lesser units, at higher costs, and the maintainnce fees for subsequent years were higher. The install was completed and I'm extremely impressed at the efficiency of the Mitsubishi ductless units as well as how well the install went.
