Horrible. Maybe I should have known from the many signs stating "Absolutely No Muddy Vehicles" that the place was in trouble. Had to try 4 vacuums before finding one I could use (one didn't work, one ate my money, one poured dirt from the hose). No one in the locked office to ask for my money back, but a surly old guy sure wanted to yell at me that I didn't hang the non-working vacuum hoses up properly. You need to drive away because the place is a bit small so on certain time people will be waiting. Terrible. Hard water. Don't think about using your own soap, or microfiber scrubber. you're forced to use their brush that scratches your paint. A good 5-10 delay once you put coins in. Someone needs to get rid of the old grump that only enforces the rules when he wants to. Customer service was really bad. Told me a "line" was building up even though no one was in the bays, harassed me and told me i needed to leave as i was waiting for my vehicle to start up after paying for service, and blew smoke in my car and in my face when speaking aggressively to me. I had waited in line to get into the car wash tunnels when I noticed that they do not take Apple Pay and since I had lost my card I had to look for cash in my car and while I was doing that a very strange, bald, older Caucasian male who was homeless based on the way he dressed, had put on his sunglasses and waited for vehicles to dock by the vaccums, and due to the large influx of homeless in the area, I chose to go somewhere else. The staff is really rude and I'd recommend hiring people who aren't miserable all the time. Maybe a more youthful staff would help.

So I don't want to be a downer from the get go but the attendant was kind of rude at first and I really did not like the way he approached me when I asked him I had card only and that I wanted to do the vacuum for my car. He said "it's cash only, and everything in there is cash only also. Card only for the washers" but in a rude way. Like I was bothering when I asked. Nonetheless I went to the bank to get some cash. Came back and I asked him for the 12 tokens for $10 and he made a joke and looked at me like I was dumb. Ontop of that while I was washing my car the whole entire time he was watching me. And trust me I doubt it dad to see if I needed any help. Besides the negatives, the wash itself is very clean and well maintained. This place is close to our neighborhood so we always go here for a quick car wash. Came in on a Sunday late afternoon, there's usually no line, but there were 2 cars ahead of me this time. I chose the Super Wash for $9. The machine was able to get the job done and cleaned the smudges and a couple pigeon droppings lol. read more

The employee (possibly the owner) who attends this carwash is rude and he smokes on the premises, so don't bring your kids. Second hand smoke inhalation. But yeah, he's super grumpy. Their timers are also inconvenient as they only last ten minutes. I was midway through brush soap and it stopped. Had to run my CC again. I've always washed my 2 cars and Truck at Legacy. I washed my truck today and was accused by some car wash attendant that I washed out the back of my truck and made this mess. After searching all over for a place to wash my truck myself between details, I found Legacy. Brushes and water seem clean. All functions worked properly. Drainage was adequate. Soap and tire cleaner actually worked in both the sprayer and the brush. Went early in the morning, so I had my pick of bays. Machine takes coins, which makes it super easy to get rid of stocked up change. They have vacuum bays as well, although I didn't use them this time. For a full-size truck to run all cycles except wax, it ran me about $18. That's a pretty good price, all things considered. I'll be back to this place again for my in-between washes. No membership is required. This place is a hidden gem. If you are looking for a place to DIY your vehicle, try Legacy out. You may be surprised. read more

Use coins only, it is quick and convenient. I brush off the brush so there is no debris that would scratch the car ( minimizing it anyways). It does the job and has all the choices you get at LUV's etc without damaging your car going through those ones. read more

If I could give zero stars I would simply for the rude staff. The car wash itself is actually very nice and has a lot of benefits that most self serve car washes don't have. With that being said, Randy is enough of a reason to NEVER come back. I was in the middle of having a friendly conversation with a fellow patron when Randy rudely cut us off and accused us of loitering despite the fact that we were actively paying for every second of our time at the carwash. He claimed we were causing him to "lose money" despite their being several empty bays next to us and absolutely NO LINE OF CARS waiting for any service. If that had been the case, I would have totally understood his frustration, but this was absolutely uncalled for. I used to love this carwash but I will NEVER be coming back. There seems to be an intentional delay on all the variety of soaps and sprays on the self-serve car wash. The only reason to do this is to make additional pennies on your customer. When you go into the office to purchase towels the prices look reasonable enough. Unfortunately, the towels have no absorption capabilities. That goes for ALL of the different color towels. Which lead you to the blue shami machine which steals your money and returns no product. LOL Basically, A $10 self-service car wash ends up costing you $15. What's five dollars between friends. I will be the first to admit that I dislike full service car washes. Especially after reading several one star reviews. I will be the first to admit that self service car washes give me a slight case of motion sickness. And I will be the first to admit that Legacy Self Service Car Wash is a good car wash. Legacy Self Service Car Wash features six bays, one self service drive thru car wash, and vacumn bays. In my opinion it provides the best car wash attendant to wash your vehicle. A car wash attendant that is honest and give your vehicle some tender loving care. That car wash attendant is You. I have been to Legacy Self Service Car Wash four times. From my experience, the car wash has been as rewarding as the effort I put into it. To get my car clean, I feed $2 to the change machine, press "refund" and drop the quarters into the money meter at the bay. I place the hose setting to low pressure wash. I believe this pays for three minutes of water and soap. When the water stops, I use their mounted brush to give my car a good scrub. Then I feed another $1 to $2 to the meter, place the hose setting to rinse, and drive off. In the future, I might buy a soft rag to dry off the car. Legacy Self Service Car Wash is hidden at the southeast corner of Pecos at Windmill, in back of Arbys, Del Taco, and Arco. It is hidden from Pecos and Windmill in a safe and relatively populated location. With an office building, auto repair store, and Ginger Mill Restaurant in eye range; plus cameras the location appears safe. If it was isolated, I would not recommend it. I would like to close off the review by mentioning two tips. 1) I placed a picture of car wash settings and directions. And 2) as I write this the Arco a few hundred feet away-at Pecos and Windmill, is one of the least expensive gas stations in the area. read more

I actually like this location. There are quite a few stalls to wash your car, including one automatic stall, as well as a lot of vacuums. I do not use all of the 'stages' for washing my car. I like to spray my tires and wheels with a spray that I bring with me before I even begin the actual car wash. I then use the high pressure soap, followed by a high pressure rinse. This has always worked well for me, and I am pretty obsessive about my car. The whole process cost me $1.75. I was shocked. I moved my car out to dry it, and to detail it. My girlfriend and I just purchased a self-serve wash for one vehicle, for what was supposed be less than $6 using a credit card. I looked at my statement just now and it's stating that I was charged $10 when I never once authorized that amount. There was no signage that states a credit card purchase would be rounded all the way up to $10 by default. $10 for a self-serve wash that took less than 10 minutes to complete? Never returning here. Also to mention, an employee came out when we were drying the vehicle and mentioned that there was a supposed line, as if we were holding it up, when there was other open spots available. When we moved forward to the vacuum spots, that's when we confirmed there was now a total of two open spots, which then became 4 open spots. There was no line and it seemed like an attack. read more

I used to live on this side of town and frequented their bays and automatic wash. Since I'm in my work suit I pulled up tot the automatic wash, went to swipe my card. Of course. The machine is down. That's not my beef. I walked around the corner and grabbed cash out of my wallet for $10 in quarters. Okay. Let's try this. I put the quarters in one by one and picked the $9 option which is their top of the line choice. I pulled in and the wash did it's thing. Well. I thought it did until I got out of my car at the adjacent Del Taco for a bite. What the heck is this? Boy have times changed. SUPPOSEDLY this place has NEW rules. The bald attendant there is a complete rude jerk. Claims I couldn't bring my own soap and rag (I didn't have a bucket) unless the water was running....so much for water conservation. The sole reason in going to self-wash is to prevent scratches which is also why I and others do NOT use the provided stall brush. When I ask him to give me a second as I'm standing in my car door washing the top of the car, he proceeds to tell me he's going to turn off the water if I don't insert money and that I am no longer welcome there. (Assuming because I am female and use my voice) I did so as to finish my wash. As I'm drying my car from a nearby parking spot, I see a MALE washing his car with his own cloth. I tell the attendant he needs to go check on stall 6 as that guy has no equipment running and is using his own rag. The attendant said he would but walked the other way, while the man continued with his rag, undisturbed!! LADIES, STAY AWAY from this place of business. read more

I came here for the self-serve car wash stalls and was very impressed! I was weary of washing my car by myself but this location is pretty safe and tucked away from the main road. My 4-door sedan fit nicely in the stall and I had plenty of room to walk around the vehicle. The self-serve stalls are shaded, roomy, plenty of drainage and are kept clean and maintained. There's a drive-thru wash, vacuums, and carpet shampoo stations available here. The wash control panel accepts quarters and cards for convenience. There are two clamps for hanging up and pressure washing your floor mats per stall. The water has great pressure here. I brought my own soap, bucket and wash mitts to get a more thorough clean. If you decide to do the same, bring your own bucket of water with you so you don't have to waste time and quarters filling it up at the wash. They do have an animal hair foam brush available, but be weary of trapped dirt and grit that gets stuck in those and may harm your paint. If you need to use it, wash the brush out thoroughly before using it with the high-pressure water and you should be okay. I will be returning here next time my car needs a wash, I recommend! read more
