What an awesome experience my family and I have had coming to Legacy almost 6 months. We came here on a recommendation from one of my sons High School friends and wrestling team mate. Immediately you can see and feel the intensity and community. Practice was organized and efficient with the right amount of relative information, drills, and live wrestling, first couple practice really stretched and pushed my sons technique and conditioning. It has been a pleasure to watch the coaches work with such a wide range of ages, skills, and experience. They are truly invested in the kids, one can tell they care about the kid's performance and development as little people and young adults. My oldest started in the High School Class and definitely went through some growing pains but through every step Coach Chris, Mike, Frank, and Shawn we very professional, patient and caring. Can absolutely see a difference in my son's performance as he starts his junior year on his high school team. We were so impressed that we have now enrolled my 8th graded in the intermediate class as a first year wrestler. Coach Sam is an absolutely amazing coach, super welcoming. I can not thank Legacy enough for how they have helped my kiddo. My son started wrestling at 3 here, we as parents noticed he didn't quite have the attention span to focus on what was being taught. After a little gap he returned back and quickly started to pick up drills, moves and instruction a lot better.My son now 4 years old is going to start his wrestling season this year and I can not wait! All the coaching staff at legacy have supported my son in so many ways with guidance, patience and knowing when to be stern when my kiddo needs that push. This sport is definitely not easy and I could not be happier that he has all his coaches by his side. Legacy wrestling center advertised an "all ages, beginners" class that most definitely was not for all ages. Coach Sam Lopez was rude and annoyed when my FOUR year old was unable to follow her multistep directions in a sport that he has never tried before. Coach Sam Lopez definitely does not have a special talent in creating a welcoming environment. She is very monotone and seems annoyed most of the time. Maybe she is more well fit for an older group of kids, not kids of all ages. I have worked with children in sports for over 14 years and understand the importance of a strict and stern coach but she stepped over the line of being strict and became rude. Such an amazing place! They are teaching these kids to be good people with good work ethic as much as they are teaching excellent, productive wrestling skills. Good sportsmanship is just as important. You don't always win and that's ok but you do always learn! The kids and coaches are like a big family. They embrace hard work. The coaches constantly remind the athletes of the courage they know it takes to step on the mat and face an opponent. So many life lessons being learned while being a Legacy wrestler. We highly recommend Legacy for your children. My daughter has enjoyed the last 4 months, she is new to this sport and Legacy came highly recommended. I instantly knew why that was, everyone from the coaches, teammates and other parents have welcomed her and our family. I appreciate the thoughtful gestures, on her first day they welcomed her after breaking down practice during the team huddle, that made her feel so special. A few weeks later it was her 6th birthday and the entire class sang happy birthday to her. We wanted to put her in wrestling because of the characteristics this sport can teach, discipline, perseverance, loyalty and confidence. In the short time we have been with Legacy my daughter has already grown so much as a young athlete. Im truly thankful for all the coaches, the time they put in to each athlete is incredible. All come from their full time jobs and spend hours a day to provide our youth a platform to grow as individuals and as a team. Coach Sam, I'm grateful my daughter has a woman to look up to in this sport. She breaks things down in very easy steps to follow. If I could give zero stars I would. This business took us for over $500 in service never rendered. And after finding their mistake they refused to pay us back. Legacy will not respond to our emails, phone calls and when I went in to talk with someone I was told they do not handle funds, it is someone else. I have been disappointed with the fact that they know we are being overcharged for lessons we did not arrange and doing nothing to resolve the issue. We had to go as far as filing fraud charges with our bank to stop the charges! I will not be recommending this place to anyone! And will also reach out to the better business bureau since legacy insists on scamming people out of money. read more

Beware!!!!!! When you sign-up, it is under a subscription basis. Canceling the subscription is a nightmare!!!!!! I signed up my son in May of 2023 but didn't attend until July we were charged for those two months. We only attended for one month but they continued to charge us. When I contacted them, they agreed to cancel the subscription, however we were still charged. When contacted them again they said that they have no record of my son attending.
