I've been coming to Legend Nails for the past couple of months and I'm beyond satisfied! Appointments are readily available, the salon is clean and inviting, and spa chairs are phenomenal. Talk about a massage! The staff is where it's all at and those ladies are incredibly professional and friendly. I love Kim and Bao! Their selection of polishes and gels is enormous, so no matter what your taste is, you'll find something that will work for you. I have never received so many compliments on my hands (I usually do gels) and my pedicures. They take great care to gently remove my cuticles (and I grow them like no other), after callus removal my feet are baby soft and the greatest thing is how long my mani/pedis last. My feet have been good for a month or longer and honestly I get them done more often because I get bored with my color. My gels last at least three weeks. I've gone to other places where my pedicure would start to chip within a couple of days and where my gels were lumpy or bubbly and would peel or lift off. Oh, I also used to pay a lot more at these other places. Legend's prices are too low for the kind of service they provide. I've referred friends and family and everyone is thrilled. I have had Bao doing my mani (gel polish) for a little over a year now. Everytime I have had Bao do my nails they turn out just beautifully! I constantly get compliments on them. There has only been one time where I had a chip after 1 week (had a french manicure and I am very hard on my nails) and Bao had me come in and fixed it free of charge...no hassles. My mani lasts approx 3-4 weeks. I have had services at other places and the work was not nearly as good as what Bao does. The last one I had lasted 5 weeks. Bao and her mom sincerely care about the work they do. They are wonderful people when you get to know them and are very caring. I have witnessed a couple of times now where people have gone in there...made a special request...saw that the work was done exactly as they requested but then the customer complains stating that is not what they wanted.... and then they refuse to pay. I truly feel bad for Bao and her mom when they have a few customers who try and take advantage of them. I have never had a bad experience and will continue to be a life long customer as long as Bao and her mom have their business. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Was very disappointed in them. I had been going there for almost a year & had brought them plenty of business. My girlfriends & I would have girls day & would get a mani or pedi. The owner is very nice , but the smart mouth daughter that works there I can do without. They are always asking for cash instead of card, makes me curious about it. Last time I was in the daughter did nothing but complain about her mother & said the most awful things about her, to me!! WTF??!! And did the worst job on my nails. Got gel, it was coming off after 5 days... She must have said at least 4-5 times that she needed paid in cash & she gave me a "discount" on service ($3 off) so I better pay in cash... The daughter is always so nice to my friend, but is a total bitch to me. Little does she know, my friend didn't appreciate it either , now neither of us ( or any of our group that joins for girls day) will ever be going back. I'm not going to pay for a shitty attitude. I've been coming to Legend Nails for at least five years, and I've always been very satisfied with my nails. I get regular manicures, gel manicures, and pedicures, and Bao is simply the best. Thinking that all nail salons are the same, I once went to another salon on a whim to get a gel manicure. Needless to say, Bao had to fix the damage done to my nails. I've never had a problem with peeling, weakening nails when she does the gels, and I think this is in part because she really tries to find products and application procedures that are most beneficial for her customers. Plus, you'd be hard-pressed to find better pricing. Bao is really nice, don't get me wrong, but she's not going to sit there and kiss your butt. She's blunt and honest, which I prefer, and you can tell that customer care is important because she goes out of her way to make sure that customers get quality products at fair prices. read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for almost 5 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else! 2 years ago I moved to Paradise Valley and I still drive all the way to Ahwatukee every 2 weeks to get my nails done at Legend Nails. They have a great color selection, and my nails always look amazing. The place is clean and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming to everyone. I work in customer service, therefore I have very high expectations from salons, and not once have I had a bad experience here. I even took my hard to please mother here and she loved the way her nails looked. Every time she visits Phoenix she has to get her nails done here. Never have I left unhappy with how my gel manicure looks, which is why I have been a long time customer and will continue to come here and recommend them to everyone. This is my one and only nail spot. I was going somewhere else and getting gel manicures that were almost double the price. I could never figure out why I didn't like the end result. Then I met Bao. She cut my nails down (mine grow long easily) and gave me that clean, modern look I wanted but apparently wasn't able to articulate to anyone. She knows what looks good and always has new colors to choose from. Since the gel polish bottles aren't clear she's a great resource for figuring out what you want when you don't even really know yourself. Price can't be beat. Clean and they always get you in and out fast (my preference) unless you want to sit and relax in their nice massage chairs with a hot towel. I wouldn't keep up with the gels unless Legend Nails made it so easy, and affordable to do so! read more

I walked into this shop one day and told Bao that I had been to 3 other shops in the area who delivered inferior work. Not only was their work sloppy, but the nail polish would lift at the cuticle in less than a week. Believe me, I am not exaggerating. Bao educated me on the reason for this problem and assured me that would not happen with her. She was right. That was a little more than 3 years ago. My nails often last up to 3 weeks. I love my French nails and regularly receive compliments on them, as I use my natural nails. Do not underestimate this shop. They use quality products and stay current with trends. Bao is the absolute BEST!!! I've been going to her for years now, but I've loved her since Day One. Most importantly, does an exceptional job on my nails. But on top of that she's kind, very funny, and enjoyable to be around. Her mom makes me laugh, too. They are reasonably priced; especially given the great quality. I've read other reviews on here and just can't believe them. Bao is a perfectionist herself so I never have to ask her to fix this or that (as if she doesn't see it... she sees it and will fix it herself without you asking). I love Legend Nails! I have gone several times and every time I go I am seated quickly and treated with friendliness and respect. The prices are very reasonable for the serve you receive. They have a large selection of colors and sparkly stuff to put on my nails. They make a real effort to keep the store on the cutting edge of the nail industry. There is always something new product to try there. The Nail tech I use always explains to me about the new products and the pro's and con's of using them. Best nail service in Ahwatukee!! I'm so happy to have found this place a year ago when I moved to the area. This is family owned and it shows how much they value their customers. They are always updating new colors, new brands, new designs and always available for consultation if you are undecided on what you are looking for! I've been coming to Bao at Legend Nails for over a year. I get gel manicures and a pedicure. They always look great, and are strong. I have had eyebrow waxing done by Kim multiple times and have been completely satisified everytime. Prior to coming to Legend nails, I lived in the NW part of the valley, so I have been getting the gel mani's for years. Their prices are VERY reasonable. I was new to the area, looking for a nail salon and came upon Legend Nails, since that first time, I've been there two more times. I have made Legend nails my place to go for mani and pedi's, that's how much I enjoyed my experience there. Legend Nails does a fantastic job for manicures and pedicures. As a man, I don't get pedicures as often as I should, however when I do, I always come to this shop. I am always pleased with the service they provide. They do a wonderful job at callus removal! I would recommend purchasing the cucumber treatment lotion, also. After a couple applications, you will feel and notice a difference. It will leave your feet, cuticles or whatever you choose to use it on feeling silky smooth. I have been coming to this nail shop for over 5 years. It is owned by a wonderful mother and daughter team, who treat every client that walks through their door as if they were family. I would highly recommend getting the shellac nail polish. It does not crack for up to 2-3 weeks and costs much less at this shop than what I have seen/heard other nail shops charge in AZ. I've been coming to Legend Nails for about a year now mostly for gel manis and each time I leave, I LOVE MY NAILS!!! They look fantastic, feel strong and last for weeks and weeks. I've also had facial waxing done at Legend and it was expertly done - even relaxing. No skin problems of any sort. This is a family business with very reasonable prices. The more I go there, the more I'm charmed by meeting more of their regular clients. I have read all the comments on this page and think if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all. So many people who are happy say nothing, but the one who isn't...has everything to say. To the woman who came in with an ingrown toe nail...you should have went to a podiatrist, not a nail salon. Before coming here, I tried another shop & the gel was peeling off & lifting after a week ! When Bao does my nails, it'll last 3 weeks! A few other shops here charge quite a bit more and they try to trick you into coming in with coupons, not realizing that your still about to pay $10 more than at Legend nails!!!
