Closed. There is another restaurant in its place and it was not very good. Kinda disappointing because the pictures looked good

"Jo's Jo's Grill is an absolute game-changer for hot dog lovers! This place is a build-your-own dog…read moreparadise with so many incredible options, it's almost overwhelming in the best way possible. When ur in line you grab a sheet to customize your dog exactly how you want it, from classic toppings to some seriously creative combinations. There's different types of dogs to choose from beef, polish,& mixed. And don't even get me started on their sides - the cheese sticks are amazing, and you can even get a half cheese and corndog mozzarella stick! If you're looking for a fun, delicious, and completely customizable hot dog experience, Jo's Jo's Grill is the place to go." Definitely recommend trying the Pastrami dog it was so flavorful and delicious Also their chili was delicious! We went on National hotdog day and got free dogs with each order which was pretty nice we definitely had to take it home! The owners are funny & nice let us eat after hours since we showed up 30mins before closing and they were BUSY! Got everyone's orders out in a timely manner! Thanks guys we'll be back & telling our friends & family!!

While passing through Visalia we found this place. There aren't many places like this where we live…read moreso we thought we'd give it a try. Entered in to a very open and clean seating area. There is both indoor and outdoor seating options. Inside they are picnic table style with bench seating and long tables or counter seating near the windows. Outdoors was set up with table and chair patio style seating. Immediately greeted by a friendly employee and after we mentioned it was our first time there she gave us a thorough overview of how it works. One thing we really liked was the customer has the option to select their "signature" dogs or you can create your own using all the toppings they have available via a slip of paper. You just check the boxes of what you want on your all beef hot dog (1/4 lb.), a polish sausage or bratwurst. I discovered afterwards they also offer "mini" dogs, which I should have gotten because they are quite large and my eyes were bigger than my stomach after I ordered a hot dog and a homemade corndog. My daughter got a polish dog and a homemade cheese dog (like a corn dog but using cheese instead of a hot dog). I got tater tots as a side and my daughter the homemade potato chips. All the food was tasty and we'd get them all again, though as I mentioned above I'd probably go "mini" on one or both because together there was just too much food for me. If we go through Visalia again, we'll definitely return.

I love Mexican food and I'm 1/4 Mexican. This place has been around since 1976 so if I'm a bit…read moreharsh it's because they should know better. I checked Yelp but I neglected to sort by date. Some of the best reviews were many years ago. I ordered the chile verde burrito, wet, and my girlfriend ordered the fish taco Friday special. Chile verde has different sized pork chunks in a delicious green sauce but the meat was inconsistent in size with most pieces being rock hard, or fat/gristle. No pieces were tender. Chile verde should be tender. I can make better Chile verde in an Instant Pot with pork shoulder and a jar of Herdez green salsa. I trim my meat well though. No surprises. The fish tacos were attractive. They resembled fish sticks though. They had a bread crumb coating, were cooked earlier, and reheated before putting in the taco shell. Not beer batter fried aka Baja style. The taco shells were soft yellow corn tortillas with the texture of flour tortillas. These tortillas were really good! Avocado and fresh cilantro was a nice touch. No special fish taco sauce was used, but might improve the fish sticks. Rice was a solid hit for both of us. We make it like this at home with shrimp/tomato bouillon. The beans were ok. I ended up "returning" the inedible chile verde and they dutifully replaced it with a different burrito. The service was 5/5. The place itself is clean and neat and spacious. No complaints there.
