First time I had a doughssant from Legendary, it was pretty good. The second time I purchased more, I came home to enjoy them but couldn't because they tasted stale! Overpriced. TOTAL RIP OFF!! I stopped in on my way to a meeting. I was picking up doughnuts, obviously. I asked for 2 dozen mixed and proceeded to pick the ones that I wanted. When it came time to pay, I was charged for 1 dozen of the amateur (less fancy) donuts and all of the others were charged individually. RIDICULOUS!! And, of course no mention was made if this at all. It's not that I mind paying for the doughnuts but, when there are mix and match dozen prices, I would hope they would be honored. the doughnust were ok but, not worth the highway robbery that i paid for them. read more

I thought this place was awesome with a really wonderful selection of truly unique doughnuts!! I was amazed. Although, I am diabetic and could not have any, I was with my family and had a taste here and there. The croussant doughnuts are to die for, the salty carmel doughnut is really great, too! I have come in twice now and have waited in the lobby for approx. 5 minutes each time trying to get service. The ladies were all in the back laughing and talking NOT paying attention to the door bell or their lobby. Unfortunately I was getting treats for other people or I would have walked out. Once I can understand... But this is TWICE now and it is a bit crazy. Why do you have a doorbell if you aren't going to listen to it. Doughnuts themselves are great and always have great flavor. For most of their donuts, one donut is probably enough for 3-4 people, and the prices reflect that. Their quality is good. My confession is that I still just love Chuck's more (their maple bars win- even without the bacon). THEY NO LONGER HAVE COASTIES!!! I was told they are trying something else for a while and coasties may come back eventually. They lady who runs the Covington shop is very very rude, especially to her employees. It is awkward to see her talk down to them with costumers there. The doughnut are great and they do a great job of keeping them restocked during busy weekend mornings. Love this place! Staff is always super nice there and if they don't have a donut that you're looking for chances are they'll make it in the back for you. On my wife's birthday I decided to run out and get her a donut from there. I was looking for something a little special. The staff there took one of their donuts hang wrote happy birthday. Hello, I have been in this store probably 5 times since opening last winter. I have to say, I felt embarrassed and pressured by their POS gadget "suggesting" a tip for having me wait in line for 5 minutes only to have a lifeless sales attendant ask me what I wanted and shove 2 doughnuts in a bag and ask for my money and a tip. Is this what we have come to? Should I feel compelled to tip you because I made it a point to come to your place of business and buy from you? What I really dislike about it is that they put their POS in front of god and all and suggest a "tip". I even talked to my neighbors about it and they agreed that it is very rude. Why don't you have a box to the side that offers an opportunity to tip? This might even compel your employees to actually do something to deserve a tip and further your sales and make a challenge to them to see who gets the most legitimate tips :) Lastly, I bought 2 fritters today... an apple and a Blueberry. I know blueberries are expensive but in the half of the fritter I've eaten so far..... I'm guessing about 4 or 5 (I'm being gracious) small fragments of a blueberry. This is the best donut shop around. The choices are large and reasonably priced with excellent behind-the-counter service. Although I don't eat more than a couple donuts a year, when I do, I buy the Apple Fritters which send me to a pleasant and temporary sugar high. I've always loved Legendary Doughnuts, but I tried the Polar Panini today and thought I'd die of clogged arteries! It was a huge disappointment. First of all it was way over-priced, and then the donut part was a MASS of grease. It was just a very plain greasy doughnut with a scoop of ice cream in the middle and a little bit of raspberry filling. Nothing special about the doughnut part, but the ice cream was good. I had to eat it immediately, and by the time I finished, there was a puddle of grease in the bag they wrapped it in. It's been an hour and a half since I ate it, and I still feel queasy! I always get their Salted Caramel Doughsant - it's my absolute favorite!!! However, today there wasn't very much of the salted caramel on it, so I asked them to add a little more. The young lady drizzled a little more on it and charged me 50 cents more! It still wasn't as much as they usually put on it......I know the young lady was brand new today, so I'm sure the next time will be better!!! Even though my experience today wasn't the best, I will go back! It's still my favorite doughnut shop!!! Good doughnuts though their prices are stupid high and the service is generally lacking but the doughnuts are nice. You probably can't afford a dozen and it's not worth the price of a dozen but it's pretty good as a one off. They should focus on improving the service. Walked in an hour before closing on a Saturday a week or two ago and the woman behind the counter said she couldn't help me because they were closing soon... an hour before closing. If it were a few minutes before closing then that would have been a reasonable response but an entire hour? Who they think they are?! That's not the only weird experience I've had there, only the most recent. But the doughnuts are decent. But so are doughnuts at top pot or Safeway. Cant imagine they'll last more than a couple years with staff members like that. The novelty will inevitably wear off and people won't return as often with high prices and bad service. went there on a saturday at a bit after 2pm and they were closed with a sign that said they were out of donuts. there was somebody in there to allow for pickup of phone orders and there were still an assortment of donuts in the case. kinda silly that they dont even consider selling what little they had left or make more! they had another 3 hours till closing and at least 10 people walked up to the door to read the sad news.. huge missed opportunity to make money and huge disappointment to many customers. read more

This is our favorite donut place. We used to drive all the way to the Lake Tapps Store. We even get our kids birthday donuts here. Yum!

My daughter and I stopped in later in the afternoon, she really wanted a donut. We stood there for fifteen minutes while the girl at the counter cleaned the floor. We ended up walking out very disapointed. Not sure if the customers are their is their priority. read more
