Location: This nail shop is located in a busy shopping center near the Costco in Pearland. Parking: Parking is kind of jammed packed. Its a small lot and packed on the weekday when we went. Customer Service: We were walk-ins in the middle of the week, so we were attended to quickly. We got there kind of late in the day at around 5:40p, but they were still able to accommodate us. Even when you go up to their closing time, they don't rush you or make you feel unwanted. I appreciate that because I truly needed to get my nails done, but am working on limited timing. You also get an adult or regular beverage with your service. FYI, since we went past the closing time for the nail shop, all of the Nail Techs usually leave. If you are the type to give a cash tip directly to your Nail Tech, you can opt to give it to her at the time of service or leave it with the person. Ambiance: The nail shop is a typical one. They're very thorough! I just needed a polish change, but they ended up picking at my nails to the point that it hurt quite a bit. I appreciate their attention to detail, but it wasn't the best experience. I actually think it was the most uncomfortable experience I've had anywhere. I got a shellac pedicure from here as a walk-in. Upon arrival, I was seated immediately and my technician was really kind and explained pricing and offered me a drink. The staff has been very nice to me. They offer drinks upon arrival. The nail techs have been wearing masks so I appreciate that since they are in close proximity. They have the clear liners for when you get a pedicure and you dip your toes in the foot basin. I've only gotten pedicures. They do a nice job with just a standard polish. I was a regular at Legendary for years! Before Easter I brought my son and his girlfriend. Two of us got mani/pedis. The service was so fast, which was a little concerning. When I got home and looked at the nails, they were messy, clumpy and after about 3 days you could see the bottom coat come up. The shellac did not even last a week. And my son's girlfriend had the same experience. It was quite disappointing that the quality of service has declined so drastically. I spent 250 and sadly will be looking for a new salon. read more

Visited Legendary for the first time after trying 3 other nail salons in the surrounding area and being disappointed by all of them. Legendary was really good for my first experience! I went in without an appointment and waited less than 10 minutes. The nail technician shaped my nails beautifully and did a very good job on my shellac manicure, plus it was only $40 before tip. Absolutely awful. My nails are bubbled all underneath and don't even look like they were done because they aren't up to my cuticle and they didn't even cut my cuticles! This place used to be nice, but they have gone downhill, and I will not be returning! The products they use are cheap and detrimental to my nail bed.... Furthermore, they are unsanitary. I've included a picture of a woman's feet that was being serviced with the same brush that they use to apply acrylic powder to people's hands. They also dipped the brush into the jar of powder without sanitizing a thing. Clearly, this lady had something wrong with her feet. So why would they risk the health of all their other customers just to service this one person???? To top it off, the fire alarm went off uncontrollably for 20 minutes straight and it was LOUD. Gone here 3 times now... after this last visit, I'm done. Vivian - phenomenal nails, listens, is helpful, and does an overall amazing job. She's def 5/5 starts and is the only tech I recommend. Pedi - tons of options, but techs never like to do any of the massages listed on them so don't waste money trying to get some sort of combo pedicure. They'll just give you extra time massaging your legs/feet - by massage I mean just rubbing lotion on them. Overpriced $55+ for what others considered basic services. Techs obvs hate their jobs tho so you're gonna get a 1/5 or 2/5 job done. Anna - liar, rude, rough, horrible customer service, and severely overcharges. 0/5 stars, idk maybe she's married to the owner, does him some kinda favors, or something bc idk how she even has a job here.... While I got my toes done, my 12 yr old got her nails FILLED by Anna and she charged $65, when I went back in to ask her about it she said that it was a normal price and she told my daughter before starting - she did not tel her, plus I'm the adult, she should tell me, not her... My daughter told me she got filled instead of new ones and the tech, tried to say she got new ones to me. I told her no, she only got a fill and Anna insisted $65 was normal for a fill. She said my kid can come back in and they can take them off and give her new ones for $80. I told her there was no way I would ever allow her to go near my child again after how she treated her. I then told her how my daughter told me (in the car before I went back in bc she was afraid of Anna) how Anna jerked her hands around, got angry at her bc the uv light didn't dry her nails fast enough, rolled her eyes, shook her head, roughly filed and drilled on her nails, got angry when my daughter would wince, got frustrated (sighed loudly) when my daughter asked for help on color (showing her a pic), cut 1 of her fingers, left her there when she was "done," didn't tell her when she was done but just left, didn't apply cuticle oil, no hand massage, didn't tell her she could wash her hands, just disappeared. She got angry like she was caught, looked around to see who all had heard me, and said, "No no no, we would never do that," I told her yes you did. I found her in the nail chair looking lost when I was done with my pedi and she had tears in her eyes. She asked me if she could wash her hands and we had to ask the guy up front bc you were gone. She said the $65 was the right price and the work was already done. I wanted to slap the s* out of her lying evil self, but instead I said we're never coming back here, got up, and left before I did something I would regret. I had Tara for a pedicure and Ann for a refill with shellac polish. The pedicure from Tara was great!! She massaged my legs like never before. Definitely recommend her! Ann rushed through my refill (25 minutes start to finish). She told me a few times that if there was anything wrong, to please let her know. As my shellac was drying under the uv light, she moved on to the next client. Another technician had to move the dryer and towels from my lap. She asked, on my way out, if everything was ok and I said yes. We all know that things look different in the light of day. I got home and realized my nails looked rushed, sloppy, and unevenly filed. I called back and was told to "come back now" - I told Ann that I could come back in an hour (since I was inconvenienced by her rushed, sloppy work). Upon returning, I guess her prior offer to make sure that I was happy timed out, because her attitude was terrible. This place deserves ZERO STARS!!! The nail techs do whatever they want and don't listen to the customer! This also happened to my sister a week ago!!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!! Below is exactly what happened: I asked for gel manicure and she brings dip powder I said okay whatever that's fine. She said it was better for my broken nail. She then proceeds to do a technique that I've never seen (turns out she was doing acrylic) after doing 3 nails she told me the price would be $80 I was getting a couple designs (this was also after she asked me what the other nail salon charged me for my previous nails that I walked in with with every nail had a design I said $75) I said why so expensive I'm getting dip. She then tells me no acrylic I said I asked for dip. She makes my nails so thick and I stop her 4 times asking to get it fixed and she said wait until the end. I wait and 3 nails look horrible!!! I rarely write reviews, but after feeling so sad about being told I was the one who made the mistake in scheduling; I am now taking my business elsewhere in the Pearland area. For some, this may not be a big issue, but for those who are "very organized and schedule everything individuals" you will understand. I was a longtime customer, always on time, and never late. Vivian and Ruby have always been the best and they were the reasons I praised this place to all I met. However, about two weeks ago, I arrived for my usual refill and pedicure and was told by the older guy who is always there that I had given the wrong time. This was the second time the young guy who answers the phone and sometimes checks you out has made this mistake. I called via phone a week prior and made the appointment for this day and I know for a fact that I could not have given the time indicated because I already had another appointment at another establishment. When I explained this to the older guy who is there, he took it upon himself to physically show me the appointment book as if that was proof that I had made the error. Really!!!! I sat down and asked could anyone else handle it. This was only because I was leaving to go on a trip and needed my nails & feet done. Vivian was sitting near the checkout and was the only one who commented that maybe the young man wrote the wrong time down. Another reason why I love her!!! I am unfortunately taking my money somewhere else based on the older guy's actions. He could have acknowledged and possibly said, "I'm sorry, the mistake was made or this happened, let's see what we can do?" That might have helped me to stay. PLEASE, PLEASE...be careful about who is taking your appt. over the phone, because even repeating the time and placing it on your calendar in your phone did not prevent me from being told I made the mistake. Customer service is always nice and courteous, which is my biggest reason for being a return customer. Prices are on par with most Pearland salons (like many places, they had to raise prices in 2022). Good selection of regular polish, gel, and powder colors. I'm glad they have non-Essie polishes because Essie cracks like crazy on me. Massage chairs work and the polish is applied evenly. It gets busy during the afternoons, so it's best to make an appointment if you want to go after work. They also offer discounts every so often from the email listserv. read more

It was my first time here, waited longer then expected and that was with an appointment but they were kind enough to give me a discount. The staff was very kind and welcoming. For starters I can't believe I'm writing this or rating this place the way I am. Backstory, I've been going here for years, and have referred MANY. Today was my LAST straw (I won't speak on the previous Not so pleasant experience). I called to speak with Tj to make an appointment, he stated 6pm was the last appointment time. He said "if you walk-in you must arrive before 7." I agreed to that. I arrived at 6:38pm only to see the door was locked. I began calling, Tj had the phone in his hand and blatantly ignored the call, I continued to call until he answered. I informed him that I'm outside and if he could let me in. That's when he stated no, and acclaiming to be "too busy." His customer service was beyond poor. He told me to "come tomorrow." If "tomorrow" was an option this wouldn't be an issue.
