Surprisingly, when I made an appointment with him in the future (which was like pulling teeth if you read my follow ups below) he ultimately never responded to my texts or phone calls to follow up, when he should have followed up with me for setting a date for the appointment, but never followed up again even after I followed up many times. Very disappointing since he did great work, but waiting for someone who never follows up after making an appointment date is not someone I would ever consider to use again. History of texts: -11-25-19: Asked about having work done at 2 locations for tankless water heater service. He responds with rates. Told CJ want to use him again and might have a neighbor, who might want to use at same day -11-26-19 Followed up by text- no response- voicemail full -11-27-19 Followed up by text. Heard back and waiting to schedule -12-11-19 Followed up by text to ask when we could get on calendar -12-12-19 Followed up by text to ask if still interested in 2 jobs since no response. We recently had a sewer line backup into our main bathroom and needed a company that could come out…read morethe same day. After calling three companies with no luck, I contacted Fanti Sewer & Drains and spoke with Robbie, who was able to come out that evening. When he arrived, Robbie ran a camera through our main sewer line to inspect the pipe, and he let us watch the live video as he worked. This allowed us to clearly see what he was seeing inside the main sewer line. That's when we discovered the main issue. Our home was built in the 1950s and the original main sewer line was Orangeburg pipe, an older material made from compressed wood fiber and tar that tends to deteriorate over time. Robbie explained everything clearly, walked us through our options, and helped us come up with a plan. His crew started the work right away and completed the job in two days. They were very professional throughout the process. They did have to break part of the cement in our driveway to access the main sewer line, but they re-cemented it and left everything looking clean and well done. He called to see if I could find a plumber asap as there was a water leak. Right away I called 5 plumbers in the vicinity of Norwalk. Since it was Sunday morning I had to leave 4 voicemails. Thankfully this company I called last answered the phone live. Superman said he was just leaving & would stop by in about 10 minutes! Much to my relief he called back & immediately diagnosed the issue. Replace shower valve, thank goodness it was not worse. Once he fixed it, he sent me the invoice. I appreciated he did not demand immediate payment. Forwarded this to my boyfriend who was then able to see the details. Pull trim & replace shower valve cartridge. Clean any obstruction. Flush valve body. Lubricate & replace cartridge. Set temperature & reset trim. In addition, the existing shower handle Allen screw was stripped, so he was unable to remove the shower handle. Had to break the drill out in order to access the shower cartridge. A new shower handle & shower handle plastic attachment piece had to be purchased. There was no additional charge for the extra labor only the material $430.60 very reasonable. What a relief. I could now go about my day.
