He rescheduled twice, then showed up at 7:00PM the day he was supposed to do the job. He showed up with his girlfriend and his 20 year old economy car with the trunk stuffed full of tools. He is not personable at all and I suspect may have a few "issues." I let him do his thing because I had a tenant ready to move in. When I arrived the next day it looked like a 3rd grader finger painted the sink and tub then threw sand in it. Shawn stated that he could't control the dirt that blew out from under the sink faucet when he sprayed. Well, that was his first shot at insulting my intelligence. Yes you can, you blow it out with a blow nozzle first. After promising to fix it and sand and buff the tub he made it look "OK." However, before re-caulking and replacing the drains he insisted to be paid. I told him to finish the job! He did what he needed to do and I was glad to get rid of him and not have to deal with this crackhead. Well, 10 months later and the sink is cracking out and 3/4 of the tub finish has peeled off and my tenants have to keep their kids from eating the acrylic chips when they bathe them! I attempted to contact Shawn several times and no response. I am hiring a different company to fix his mess. The only way Davis Brothers obtained a a 5.0 rating is obviously through fraud.

I dont know if that law is true but overall dont say it if you do plan on keeping that word or backing up your work. The work he did, didnt even last a year. Johnathan applied stain to my cedar-clad garage and art studio, a somewhat tricky process; the result was perfection. Johnathan also painted the 100-year-old brick exterior and wooden eaves of my house. There were layers of old peeling paint dangling from the eaves. He was able to come out same day to inspect the potential repairs. He was great with the communication and expectation of repair. Abraham was able to get me a quote the next day and schedule the repair for the upcoming weekend. The worker who performed the job was Arturo. He was great. Both he and Abraham continued communication and were punctual to agreed upon schedule. Arturo was able to get the repair done in a single day. He was able to find identical base boards to an older house and match the color to the paint for walls perfectly. The repair looks as good as new. I would recommend California Restoration. Their communication, and timeliness was amazing. Their pricing fell within the estimates the insurance adjuster provided. They were fair and upfront about the project and timeframe. I was replacing a toilet in my upstairs master bathroom when I noticed the flange was rotted away as I was picking at it the sub-flooring started going with it. I was very concerned. Even prepared to file a homeowners insurance claim. The old toilet had slowly been leaking into the wood sub-flooring. The insulation fortunately contained the water so no leak downstairs and no mold. Fixer was the only company that could get me a handyman in the same day (competitors were weeks away). Ian stayed until 9pm roughly fixing my sub-flooring and installing a new flange. The attention to detail was impeccable. The job was done at the highest standard. Fixer responded promptly with their hourly rate, outlined that they prorate shopping time and charge to the minute rather than by the hour. That vanity was HEAVY at about 250 lbs and it was being installed in a very tight space so having two people worked out so I could do other things around my renovation project while they wrangled with the cabinet and plumbing. Brian and Chang were great. They were prompt, professional, friendly, and kept us in the loop every step of the way. They made sure we were happy with the project and I was comfortable having them in my home and would happily have them back for another project in the future I also like the fact that the company pays their people, gives them benefits, keeps up with continuing education, vets their people thoroughly, and makes it a point to hire minorities.
