Probably Duncanvilles only true bar environment, we went during an NFL game on a Sunday, it was happy our and we got 2 of the drinks and the sampler. It took about 20 minutes to get the sampler but we got the drinks right away, I thought they were creative and mixed well. The sampler is egg rolls, wings, catfish and I believe tenders, the egg rolls were the Southwest style you find at like Cheesecake Factory. We got some shots to finish and the whole thing was about $60 which is a good deal. Would highly recommend. read more

OK, the ambience gets 5 stars. The vibes and Service gets 5 stars the music 4 stars (juke box) the number of TVs 5 stars ... and they show different sports all around. The food ....3 stars. I don't know why it is so hard to find good tacos in AZ, but I was disappointed not only with the tacos, but I got chips and queso dip and even that was a bummer. Cold! It was so cold in there. Quite the eclectic crowd as far as ages and outfits go... that's all I'll say about that. And the band, they had a great play list. Their timing was not the best. Seemed like they would speed up the song then slow it down or sometimes each instrument would play at a different tempo? Whatever it was weird. Friday night dinner with Soulful Sounds providing the music. They came out with catfish nuggets and fries to sample, and the taste was unbelievably good! I ordered the Legends' burger with onion rings, and that was good too outside of NOT having a fried egg on top of the burger. Now, my friendly server was a bit slow in service, but because of the crowd, I thought I'd cut her some slack! And the price was more than fair...i was reading the menu on the internet, and it was totally different from what they had at the restaurant! I wish they would revise their website. Rude doorman and some other guy that seemed to think I was trying to take someone's seat and I was simply waiting for my friend to come back. EVERY table 'reserved,' yet empty. Band was WAY too loud for the size of the almost empty venue. Why so loud?! Otherwise, the band would've been good. Attended with a friend, otherwise I'd have left immediately. I didn't order a drink or food, so I ca t speak on that. I was worried about my ability to hear in the future. The tall older bartender is rude and ignorant. I have visited this place several times and this the last time I will ever come. Only one waitress would take my order and all of the employees act as if they are doing you a favor. It's really sad that one of the few halfway decent places on the south side of town are full of rude employees. read more

Hole in the wall for sure. Good music/DJ...but super tiny spot. There's a little room for dancing though. Their drinks are pretty good and it was pretty hype the Thursday night that we stopped by here. I hear they also do live music on some days. I did not come here to eat. But it is a solid spot for drinks and dancing and they have a little patio area. There is plenty of parking. I just kind of wish there was more room to move around to accommodate the crowd that flocks to this place during the work week. This was a spur of the moment choice. I wanted to come to a hole-in-the-wall and I'm glad I stopped by. My favorite band Paul Cannon was in the house!!! The drinks were strong and I was really feeling some type way after the first one: Blue Mutha F#*/ker. Oh I'm glad I came early, like 8 pm, because nearly every seat was reserved. Went Thursday (09/03/15) with my friends. It was my first time there and heard a lot of the place. The main we went was because of Don Diego was playing. Well, I don't drink and my friends do. I ask waitress for a 2 bottle waters, nothing. 2nd time I asked another one, nothing. 3rd time asked again, nothing. My friend finally ask another waitress and was told that hey ran out of bottle water. Now how can you run out of bottle water, when most people there I seems only drinking liquor. First of all the waitress should had came and told me that from the beginning and not have me keep asking. Very bad service. I will not be stepping foot in the place again. Could be a nice place to hang out in southwest Dallas. I enjoyed the live band BUT after a certain hour the tables in main area should be picked up for people to move about freely after 11 pm when it starts to get packed.
