I recently watched Legends in Concert at the Dick Clark's American Band Stand venue. We sat a few rows from the stage so we were close enough to not watch the two large screens. The artists we watched sing were Tina Turner, Johnny Cash, The Blues Brothers, Adele, and Elvis Presley. Everybody sang great in my opinion and it was fun to watch. After the show, they were all in the lobby area to take pictures with as well as chat with them. That was pretty cool. I would recommend Legends In Concert if you have time and don't mind spending a couple of hours watching the show. read more

You could have hung a ton of road kill in this place. For once I did not throw a jacket in the car, my bad, we left at intermission because all the AC in MO. was funneled into this place on a Monday evening, chattering teeth probably could be heard without thr need of s #10 battery. The woman next to me said honey you need a coat, and I was not dressed in summer clothing, brrr. Take your kindle so you can read an hour prior to the start of the show. Very small crowd, but it was a Monday, Jerry Lee Lewis, was endured even if he was before my time, so was Lincoln, great balls of fire flashed on the screens with the dancers, the best of the show was the large actual footage on the two screens. Diana Ross did an okay imitation but the Blues Brothers were the show stealers. Another tired theater. Strange that 4 young guys rambling on foot through the parking lot at intermission, we did not stop to ask them what they were looking for, security may not be an issue for these places. read more

Great musical entertainment with classic music impersonators. They all did a good job. Allen Jackson, Elvis, Blues Brothers, and Marilyn Monroe where great. A great band was supporting all the singers. Some good comedy and audience interaction was mixed in with the show. Barry White was subpar for vocal performance but the average person would most likely grade him ok. Overall this show was worth the ticket price. read more

Johnny Cash was spot on, Whitney Houston was good, Tina Turner was overshadowed by the original, and the Blues Brothers were so-so (found myself watching the original BBs on the screen). But Elvis took the cake, working the crowd and displaying a passion that made up for any shortcomings earlier in the show. Afterwards you can meet them in the lobby, and the King was as down to earth as could be! Great time!! Just steer clear of the Grill. read more

Thank you to Legends for being open this month, in February. As far as I can tell, it is one of the few, if not the only show open in the whole town this month. Shame on you Branson. But thank you Legends. I have never seen the show before and will be coming back. It is like a Las Vegas Production, with every performer actually singing and looking exactly like the artist that they perform. What a refreshing thing when every other show here just sings the songs of artists, but here you get a real experience. The Legends that were here were Michael Jackson (unbelievable talent) back to the 80's with Pat Benatar doing such a professional performance of this 80's rocker. The Blues Brothers were entertaining and also could really sing. Willie Nelson shockingly sounded exactly like Willie did in his prime, a real experience. And he could make that guitar sing, couldn't believe it! And Elvis, the star of the show did not disappoint. He was the perfect blend of beautiful vocals, audience participation, and some real playful comedy. There should be more reviews here!!! Such a fun evening. read more

Legends in Concert tribute shows are the standard for tribute shows. Performers deliver a realistic rendition of the legend they portray. I have never experienced a Legend show that did not deliver a realistic enjoyable experience. The venue in Branson is one of Branson's better theatres. read more

Stunk, stunk,stunk. Chintzy dancers without much coordination. Loud, Loud,Loud, that is what you do when you really are not so talented! Bass was so loud, I was getting a headache in the first set. Left in the middle of 2nd act. Never again! You can find better entertainment! read more

The Blues Brothers were a little annoying in my opinion, Taylor swift was okaaaay, "Adele" sounded NOTHING like Adele, but Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and Brooks and Dunn were all amazing! So basically, I loved half of the show, and the other half not so much. The dancers were fun to watch. It was a good show, but not stellar. They had a hard time hyping the crowd up, but it might have just been the crowd, not the artists themselves. read more

A must stop for us when we go to Branson. The Temptations stole the show. They were so much fun to watch. Their singing was spot on, their dancing energetic, just a first rate performance. The other performances were good. Elvis did two different performances, one based on his movie time and the other Vegas. Both were good, just not outstanding. Garth Brooks did a good job. We really enjoyed the performances, especially my 15 month old who sang and danced along to all the performers. Our favorites were Adele, Johnny Cash, and Michael Jackson. Solid job and it was quite amazing how much most of the performers looked and sounded just like the real artists. I've seen the show 4 times and the show is always great - except this time. My daughter specifically asked to go and see Elvis - and I told her that Legends is the way to go. I promised her, "We'll see several acts - and there is ALWAYS an Elvis to anchor the show." I even verified online when I bought the tickets. But when we got there this week we were told that Elvis had left the building.... And Branson.. and went to Memphis for some competition. Legends caused me to break my promise to my little girl. Yes... the show was still very good... and the Michael Jackson was outstanding. But unless Michael Jackson was going to put on a rhinestone jumpsuit and sing "Hunk of Burning Love" while he moon-walked... there was still a hole left in my daughters soul. Now she just drags around... sad... and crying. She won't even eat her peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Why did you trick us Legends??? WHY???? read more

Fun. Four stars for advertising beer and wine but not having beer and wine. Good choice of singers, back up dancers could be a bit more dance-like. Each act involved the crowd and kept us going. The jam session with Elvis was fantastic. The Blues Brothers were fun. Kenny Chesney got us started with some of his best. Overall I would suggest it to others. Solid entertainment on a Monday afternoon. The only thing I didn't really care for was the "intermission" mid way through the show so they could hawk overpriced pictures and merchandise. Good show. Wish Elvis would've sang a few more songs. He had the shortest set. About three songs is all I remember. Celine Dion was the best singer. Great voice. The show is awesome! The dancers are entertaining and the singers are great! We paid extra to sit in the VIP section so we could enjoy a few drinks. Our party was 6 of the total 8 people up there. We got there at 7:55. When bringing our first drink, the waiter stated last call would be at 9 (intermission). He then left the area. By 8:15 we were ready for another round and my niece had to leave the area to even find our waiter. At 8:25 we got our 2nd round and was informed this would be last call, per the managers orders - "they were cleaning the hood in the restaurant". We asked to get another round and was informed that they could not serve a drink with one sitting in front of you. The "manager" came out to apologize and extend another 15 minutes, and to inform us that they were out of Jack Daniels whiskey, which 2 of us were drinking. This place has a bar in the restaurant, so running out of liquor should never happen, except due to poor planning. To change your serving times because you want to go home early was extremely rude to your customers who paid extra and also according to the ticket salesperson, not the way business should be handled. Go for the show but don't pay extra for VIP- you will not be treated as important at all! 6 people left less than thrilled and you lost out on additional sales! read more
