We went to see the Legoland Theme park this is how we ended up staying at this hotel, since it is right next to the theme park. The place is very kid friendly and the whole hotel is about legos. Our kids were in heaven. We really liked the castle in the lobby, great play area. This area has animators and games a couple times everyday where they seat the kids down and give them different games. This castle area all day is filled with little kids, so lot of fun for the little ones just to be there and make friends with other little kids. If you want to have lunch, or dinner while they are playing, you can, as their restaurant is right next to this area, so you can sit there and watch your child having fun, while you having a drink, or a nice meal. The hotel has a smaller pool which is heated and it is really warm. When we were there, it was a hot day, so we could not cool off in the water, so we did not enjoy being there. I m sure on a cooler day it is very pleasant. Their pool has some lifeguards on duty. One of these girls never made an eye contact, or looked up at me when i approached her and tried to ask a question. She came across as distant and unwelcoming, which was surprising, considering this is not a public pool but the hotel's amenity.. There is a nice outdoor area with mini golf, and in the evening at the fire place you can make your own s'more. I was disappointed to find out they do not have amenities for parents - like sauna, or spa-, to relax our body and mind. If you are with kids, it is a nice place to stay, lego lovers will have the time of their life, so we might return one day.

    Castle play area!

Good: * Everything is catered to the kids, from the play areas everywhere to the elevator. * (In the pirate rooms), they have a treasure chest for the kids to open using clues around the room. * Staff are friendly. Bad: * If you find a better promotional offer after booking your hotel, they can't honor it due to their system. * The lifeguards are abrasive and seem annoyed at the kids. * They have a strict limit on how many people can be in the pool area, so you might be left waiting. * The pool water is just recirculated, so it's bath water warm and has a lot of bugs. Ugly: * Complimentary Breakfast is a nightmare setup. Instead of a traditional buffet, they seat you like a restaurant and send a server out with a big platter of everything on the buffet. The wait is typically an hour to be seated, then you have to wait for food, and if you need anything else, you have to wait even longer for the waiter. It would be better and faster if they just switched to a traditional buffet and had the staff focus on cleaning tables and keeping the buffet stocked. Additionally, they say breakfast gets busy around 9:30, but we went down at 8 and weren't seated until 9. * The Castle Play area is not supervised and even though it says kids should be supervised by parents at all times they are not. Kids were throwing legos at my 1 year old and pushing my 3 year old around. Overall, we loved the hotel and how it was for kids. We stayed at the Universal Hotel before this, and it wasn't nearly as kid-friendly.

    Police station card

We had our car in velvet over Christmas 2025 and while it was there it was hit and the side of the car was smashed in. We made a police report and were given numbers to the head velvet John and Ranger Tracy. All three of these people have ghosted us and have not taken responsibility for the damage to the car. Tracy and John have us false numbers. When we call the hotel we are given excuses on why we cannot talk to them and they will leave messages for them to call back. 6 months later and weekly phone calls to the hotel and the cop and no one has called us back. We live in Nevada and our distance is not helpful in getting a hold of them. I am shocked that legoland and winter park police act in this matter or finding who was responsible for the damage and the lack of responsibility for the damage to the vehicle is shocking.

    Paige the manager

!!! PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK THE HOTEL!!! This review will seem unbelievable, but I assure you it actually happened. My husband, our four-year-old son, and I--currently pregnant--were checking in at around 4:45 p.m. this past Monday 5/25/26 for Memorial Day Weekend after a day at the theme park. We were told our Duplo-themed room wasn't available, despite me calling in twice beforehand to ensure we would have the specific theme due to the other themes being too scary for our son. Paige, the manager, told us there was a "lighting issue" with the headboard and that it would be available around 6:00-6:30 p.m. Annoying, but not the end of the world, so we waited at the indoor play space in the lobby while our son played. After 45 minutes, our son stopped coming out of the hidden corner area--a spot parents can't reasonably see from the adjacent seating area, despite us sitting as close as we could. After a few minutes, my husband went to make sure he was just focusing on a Lego project, but instead, he found him cornered by a preteen boy twice his size and age, being beaten repeatedly in the head with the boy's jumbo Lego gun. My husband immediately told the boy to stop, and he scurried away. After making sure our son was okay, my husband looked around to find the boy to report him to staff, but he was nowhere to be found. When he told me what happened, I was absolutely furious, and neither of us could locate the bully. My husband reported the incident to Paige at the front desk, who was dismissive and showed zero empathy. She made no effort to locate this child, who was clearly unsupervised and likely hurting other children elsewhere in the hotel. She asked if our son needed a medic, acting as if she was checking to see if this was "serious enough" to warrant her leaving the desk. My husband declined, as he is an M.D. and knew he didn't need one, but she called one anyway, whose help we had to decline. We wanted them to find the unsupervised bully. My husband started to raise his voice, reasonably assuming that protecting the physical and emotional safety of children was a priority for the hotel, but Paige called a security guard to talk with him instead, claiming he was "too upset." To make this story even more unbelievable, when my husband asked the security guard to check the security camera footage that specifically overlooks that hidden corner, he was told it only gets reviewed when the violence "overflows" into parents throwing children onto the ground in frustration. The guard clarified--quite calmly--that this is how things happen there and that's when police get involved. Upon learning this, we were in complete disbelief. We told staff we were considering contacting the police ourselves because it was clear they had no protocol for handling bullying in that hidden area. Their only response was to call a medic as if this were a war movie. Paige repeatedly insisted that their policy is for kids to be supervised by parents, essentially accusing me and my husband of negligence, even though our son was right by us the whole time. The only unsupervised child was the bully. As soon as we mentioned calling the police, Paige called in a second security guard, Tracy, who threatened to call the police on us if we didn't leave, as if this were some kind of game. They insisted that my husband raising his voice because our son was being beaten with a toy gun justified having us removed from the property for trespassing. For context, there was no profanity, no alcohol involved, and no threats made. In contrast, the play area was chaotic, including a man drinking and using toy guns to "shoot" at children. Paige and her accomplice, Tracy, should be immediately fired. This hotel is a stain on an amazing theme park. Fortunately, we live close by, so we decided to simply go home for the night and return the next day. We are still waiting for the full refund Paige assured us of. Reflecting on this, I strongly suspect that Paige is the one responsible for managing and curating the other bad reviews this property has received; her behavior suggests she is more interested in silencing guests than ensuring their safety.

Our stay at the legoland resort
    Jalixa M.

It is me qnd my family's first time staying at the legoland resort. This was by far one of the best hotels experience i have had when it comes to committing to the theme. From the moment we entered we were immersed into legoland. There are legos everywhere! And so many things for the kids to do within the hotel that I had to convince my kids to leave in order for us to go to the amusement park because they were having so much fun inside the hotel. To my surprise there was a treasure chest in our room where the kids had to answer 3 questions in order to recieve the combination to unlock the chest. Once it was unlocked there were juice boxes, legos, crayons and coloring pages and lots of little nick packs that just made the experience so much better. The elevator ride was one of the best parts. We were surprised when the lights when on and the music started playing. It was so much fun! I can't wait to come again next year for my sons birthday again. I think this will become a tradition for us.

We are staying in a ninjago themed room. It is super cool! It's clean and comfortable. The entire room is themed floor to ceiling; even the soap looks like a Lego. The kids received a small scavenger hunt to do in the room in order to get a code and open the safe which had Lego magazines and a small Lego set for each kid. There are several activities to do throughout the day at the hotel. The elevator has lights and music when you're riding to your floor which is fun!

Confirmation from the worst managed hotel in the world.

Despite having the confirmations for the 2 rooms I booked for 10/30-11/1, my ID, the credit card that paid for the rooms, copies of passports of every guest in both rooms, I was denied a key for my room and had to sleep in my car in the parking lot the first night of our stay. The desk mixed up keys, and would not provide me the correct key to my room. I was in 427, and they would only give me a key to 426 where other people were already occupying the room - this was at 2:00 am after a delayed flight. Worst customer service experience ever. No response from LL to any of my concerns and the manager hid from me the next morning. Stay somewhere else.

They also has sides of jalapeños, salsa, shredded cheese, cream cheese for your eggs and stuff. They have the croissants, bagels and toast/muffins. Drinks included chocolate milk, almond milk, regular milk, apple juice; OJ, coffee, as well as some flavored juices. It was a decent selection and everyone ate well. For the price, it was cheaper and had a FAR BETTER breakfast than Best Western which is a newer hotel. Best western's breakfast was not served hot and they dilute their orange juice heavily so it doesn't even taste like OJ. Limited selection. The only Downside of this place is the A/C. Temperature in the room wasn't consistent, so it either got too cold or too hot before A/C kicked on. Bed was comfy with firm and soft pillows.

The best part of the stay in my opinion was the staff, this team definitely understands the importance of customer service but sadly this doesn't makeup for the accommodations. If you arrive after dark the entrance can be a little confusing if you're coming from I-4 don't turn too early and if your driving an extended cab pickup truck the spaces weren't ready designed for you, it's all about how many vehicles they could cram into the space. The room was just okay, the beds and water pressure left a lot to be desired but that isn't something the staff can do anything about so it is what it is. There are choices you can make that will make your stay tolerable, but by all means avoid the breakfast, regardless or not if it's comp'd. The breakfast area it seems was filled with people who were staying one night or had just completed the first night of their extended stay because I don't think too many people would do it twice. Besides being on the stingy side it horrible - the eggs were dried out beyond belief, there were three slices of bacon in the chaffing dish and the sausage was rancid - the milk was in bulk instead of small gable-top cartons and it wasn't cold. This property is disappointing in a lot of ways I think I'll look at other options next trip even though I'm a Spire Rewards member...

Preface: My apartment needs emergency repairs done and it isnt safe from my family to stay there. The leasing office recommended coming here since it is close to our home and other tenants usually stay here when their apartments need work done. I have a chronic illness and one of my children is immunocompromised. We made our reservation over a week in advanced, in person. We received an in person confirmation, and an email confirming the total price of the room. We made sure to let them know several times that we were bringing our dog, they even put it in the notes of the confirmation that had the total price. The day of check in around 11am we get a call from the front desk woman sounding a little panicked about our reservation. Our card wasn't going through. We hadn't even checked in yet so I was confused as to why our card was being charged, but that's neither here nor there. She then proceeds to tell us that the price is actually $192 more than what we were initially told in person and what was on our email confirmation. She asked for a cc number over the phone to try to run it again for the reservation. We told her we would head on over and take care of the payment method in person. We went over and we questioned her about the price change and she tells us that the extra $100+ was for the pet fee. We knew there was a pet fee when we made the reservation but we were lead to believe that total price they confirmed in the email was already including the pet fee. Apparently not. After we moved money around we gave her the new card and she immediately charged the entire amount. I've worked in hospitality for several years in the past. (Country inn suits, Seralago resort, and HIVC) Never did we ever charged the guest the full amount of the stay at check in. We put a hold for the total and depending on if they checkout early/late and the condition of the room on checkout, we charge the amount at check out. I mentioned this to her and she insisted that this was protocol. She hands us the keys and we inspect the room prior to getting the rest of the family and our belongings. The first thing I inspect are the beds. The first bed had multiple mattress covers under the fitted sheet, which is a red flag. The first mattress cover was dirty, I pull the second and it had dried up crusty substance on them along with other dirty spots. The sheets also looked like they were never washed, with human and dog hair and other mysterious dried substances on them. Both beds were dirty. The fridge was off and dripping water and inside was a roach living its best life. The floor wasnt swept or mopped and still had remnants of the previous guests crumbs on the floor! Immediately went back to the front desk and let her know. Ofc I was upset. I'm being charged over $120 a night and this is what I get??!!! She was very nice and promptly changed our room and let us inspect that one also. The second room was cleaner to the naked eye but once again the sheets were dirty but no where near as bad as the first room. I let the front desk know again and she said that she would get housekeeping to make sure they replace the sheets before we came back with our things. I go to the bathroom to distribute the towels and set up bath time and the towels were filthy! They were folded nice and neat but as soon as I opened them they had orange, yellow and black stains all over them. I bring them to the desk and ask for new ones. The housekeeper exchanged the towels and we continued with unpacking. Finally it was time to actually take a shower. I open up the new set of towels and they are even more filthy than the first set! I was fuming!!! Got the towels changed a third time. Right outside the sliding door is a water meter barely covered with an old piece of plie wood that my dog tripped on and fell several inches in to the small ditch for the meter.
